After going to the nail shop for so long , I knew I could do it on my own. So I started with UA-cam tutorials and started doing my own acrylic nails and toes. I love it! I set a day to do my hair for the week and it sets me up for greatness! Get up early to get ready, buy black, white and brown long sleeve/ short sleeve t-shirts with no graphics and wash in cold water! Walmart has gold and silver hoops (clear nail polish keeps them from going green lol)
I’m the same but can’t afford to do it monthly so I now go to hair schools get my hair done more often and make sure it’s looks clean washed and polished .im an ex nail tech so always do my own nails and brows and find this keeps life simple and can you look well and out together on a budge !

Yes to lint rollers and cuticle oil to maintain a manicure and pedicure and moisturise daily! I had to invest in a foot file to make sure my feel stay smooth and dry body brushing to help my skin glow.

New subbie!!! i love this and i'm with you on the toes, i get mine done every 2 weeks with nails, no matter the weather and season. I feel so pretty when my nails/toes are done. Keep up the good work.😊😊 lol, i had to come back and piggyback on the ironing point you made by saying making sure that there aren't buttons missing ,strings or hems hanging as well. I always keep in the back of my mind that if i'm going out, no matter where it is, that i never know who i'm going to run into'. When i would go to get my hair done or errands and i would run into people they would be like, where you going all dressed up and smelling all good and i'm like to the market, and they would be like, 'looking like this?!' lol. What helps me also is that i iron up 7 outfits for the week. Knowing what you're gonna wear ahead of time helps you especially when it's last minute or whatever. That's usually the hardest part not knowing what to put on and scrambling/stressing on what to wear at least for me it is. You just don't ever wanna be caught lacking/slipping lol.
