You recommend having a clear complexion - I've struggled with this my entire adult life and have used many over-the-counter and prescribed products, however the most stunning improvement happened when I changed my diet. I had to give up dairy, sugar, gluten, alcohol, processed and packaged foods (including cereal), and fried/fast foods to improve my digestion, and started drinking green tea and eating more organic, whole foods, and colorful/ leafy green vegetables. My complexion improved tremendously!! Eating the right foods DOES make a big difference for having a healthy, wholesome glow.

I appreciate your insights. I was raised in a different era, and worry about the lack of "polish", style and manners in public. A short story: My husband work for a major university in the US. The girls wore sweat pants and casual pony tails, or a ball cap over hair. One day on his way down the hall, my husband noticed a young student who apparently needed to go to work after class. She wore slacks with a belt, her blouse tucked neatly in. My husband couldn't remember her hairstyle, whether is was short or long and pulled up. He did notice the young men ignore the girls in sweatpants, and turn their heads to follow the neatly dressed young woman. Appearance and demeanor matters.
@@anireseegam6128 Most of the boys probably also dressed hyper casually, and you can be sure that when one makes the effort to look polished the girls notice him too. I love the music on your So uplifting. I’m older now, 68, and staying polished is more difficult than ever. My skin is crepey and need completely different skincare and makeup. My hair is a different texture and clothing styles I have worn for years no longer work for me. But I’m getting through the changes and UA-cam channels help! Thanks for the reminder to stay polished.

Stained items go in my “painting clothes” drawer, if they’re comfortable enough for that kind of activity, and I wear them for projects involving glues, paints, stains, etc. For linen, I iron before each wearing. A Part 2 would be wonderful. : ) My top tips, in addition to what you have mentioned, are: keep your teeth clean and healthy, keep makeup simple and in the same tonal family as what is found in your individual colouring, keep your jewelry in good repair, always wear a watch/timepiece, add some attractive glasses (prescription or “just for looks”), keep your handbag clean and organized, have good posture, perfect your “neutral smirk” (that mysterious smile you have when walking around so you aren’t grinning like a clown or frowning like a grump), don’t eat or drink on the go (snacking is fine, but don’t “walk and chomp” or “walk and chug”), and keep a notepad/day timer and pen or Kindle in your bag so you reach for that before your phone if you find yourself waiting. Thanks for the lovely reminders, Jennifer! : )
I completely agree with selecting a quality handbag. My sister in law blessed me with a quality leather tote 6 years ago. It has lasted beautifully and is just now starting to show some wear. And I always feel special carrying it. While a brand new leather bag is outside of my price range ($200 and up), I have found several used options on Facebook marketplace for around $50.

Regarding skin blemishes....in my late 50's, I thought it was just a blemish. It would occur, clear up, re-occur, repeatedly, always in the exact same spot. It was basal cell skin cancer, and thankfully, was successfully treated. But scarring might have been reduced had I realized it was not just a blemish. Just a word of caution to your viewers.
Absolutely.. I had a scare recently and lucky I'm good but I have started wearing spf clothing and classy casual spf hats and gloves that actually keep me protected but more classy and put together. I'm now getting IPL to take care of my skin damage as I'm very fair and very excited to improve my skin tone removing brown and dark spots.
Same thing happened to me. It was on my nose, in my 30s. It just wouldn’t heal and became itchy. Overlooked by the dermatologist, I pushed for a biopsy on it. I ended up needing mose and reconstructive surgery.
When I was a girl I remember on many Saturday nights my sister and I polishing our shoes to be ready for church the next day. We also ironed our dresses and layers them out ready with an appropriate slip to wear with it. I’m only 42 but it all seems so antiquated now.
I've done this all my life. I always get compliments but I never say how it happens. I wake up with the animals and obviously they help me get ready. 🤣
We used to polish our shoes with Vaseline the night before church - the shinier the better!!😃. And we also picked out our dress, slip etc. oh that’s right kids don’t even know what a slip is nowadays lol....
Great hair & skin care go a long way! I didn’t prioritize mine until I reached 29. I wish I had taken this into account long ago. I love the idea of even having a uniform for you hair! I finally believe I have discovered my true style w/ you & Audrey Coyne’s help! Polished never goes out of style & you’ll always be happy looking back at you!
Jennifer, it is comforting to know that no one is naturally polished. Skin is definitely one that is quickly obvious if there are blemishes or age spots. While good skincare is essential, the health of our skin begins on the inside (think digestion).
Thank you for your words of validation! I usually prefer a very short style (cancer-survivor-chic is what I call it), but am now growing my silver locks for donation. I now wear my hair in a pony tail, which I think is attractive and easy to maintain. It's still thick and curly, even in my 70s, the shape of my head has always been very good, no double chin, nice looking ears. The good news is that all my prettiest earrings are on easy display. I've had a few negative comments, mostly from family members, probably because it's uncommon for older ladies to wear that style, but I like it, and it's only temporary. Probably another four months before I'm ready to harvest it, and I intend to enjoy my long hair every moment til then. By the way ... I think the best thing we can do for our hands and feet, aside from applying moisture, is push back those cuticles.
Yes on all points! And I would certainly add, how we engage with people with our tone of voice, attitude and body language says volumes of how 'polished' we are. Never trying to purposefully draw attention to ourselves by laughing out loud and certainly, never swearing... Being humble and kind, while appearing polished in dress, is respectable and approachable in my experience.
i agree, except about the laughter. its one of the best sounds on the planet. its not about drawing attention to oneself, but abour joy. never repress that: in ypurself or anybody else.
@@Plethorality saved raven may be referring to people who screech with laughter, especially in restaurants or quiet settings? I get what you're saying though, about laughter and joy. Agree with it all, I’ve been obsessed with my eyebrows since I was a very young girl and I’m i 58 . Makes a huge difference. I’ve learned how to do my mani pedi at home , I love just a clear color. My feet are very dry , I use essential oils. Shoes absolutely must be cleaned and polished. I’ve been done with name brands forever ago, a good high quality hand bag is key. A chignon is always a classic. Messy buns are great for boho looks and a casual chic looks. Perfect ending to your video!
I have always polished my shoes and get them to the shoe repair shop if it isn’t enough, they can do amazing tune-ups, in addition to repairs, resoling, etc.
You’re right about the foot file. A while back I bought the one you recommended, and it is the best. Will try out the Londontown illuminating polish, it looks really nice on your nails.
I do all these things. I take my shoes off when I come in from the garage and brush the sides and bottoms to keep my indoors clean. If they need more attention than that, I leave them in the adjacent laundry room until I can get to it, I have plenty of other shoes to wear for a few days to a week. I do all my wardrobe stuff early in the morning in my laundry room, before I need to run the AC there, it uses so much energy, and air-dry, iron and steam my clothes there. Nothing goes back into my wardrobe that isn’t 100% immaculate and ready to wear, so I think I already look fairly polished.
To look polished; Good posture, Simple earrings, Hair brushed Lip gloss Clean (pressed) clothes Yes! Brush your teeth!! And the smile also. You said it perfectly. 😊
I have to admit that's got to be my worst trait: impatience. And I don't know how to calm down and accept that people seem to have all the time in the world especially when it comes to service (and especially where I live - Africa). It drives me wild. Any tips are welcome!
Spot on comments.I heard about Londontown from your site and I must say it is now the only polish that I use. It does not irritate my nails. Just placed a large order with them. I am very pleased and appreciate your sharing the information on them. Thank you for saying no to ripped jeans. I also wish women would not wear jean shorts that have ultra short hems with threads hanging on them. Love your look today.
I love that shade of lipstick you are wearing! As I've gotten older, I've noticed that it is crucial to looking well presented. Finding the right shade is not easy! Too pale makes one washed out, too dark is harsh and aging--orangish is always terrible.
Love this! More “polished” videos please! I’d also like too see more makeup, skincare and purse/wallet (I love the “what’s in your bag” videos) thank you Jennifer I enjoy your channel SO much!
I long to be as neat as my Uncle Peter. He was head cleaner in the office where he worked but he always looked neat and well put together. He was what they call dapper without dressing up.
I really like the illuminating nail concealer polish for that natural, effortless look on my mostly short nails. I find that if I pop on a wrist watch and earrings -- even with a t-shirt and jeans-- it amps up the polished look. I have curly "wild" hair and I do like it, but it takes much effort to keep it looking presentable (not polished in my case). I've recently discovered homemade flax seed gel which does great things to my curly mane and keeps it a little more tamed.
I put a wee bit of Nuxe gold oil on my hair- it tames the frizz, adds some definition and weighs it down a bit, as well as has a sun kissed kind of glow! I mix a few drops on wet hands and then sort of pull it through the curls :)
I love all of the polishes from Londontown. Their nail concealer and the shade Invisible Crown are my favorites. I also love the way the milkmaid braids look on you! It's my goal to try that hairstyle this week. I have extremely thick and wavy hair, so I'm always looking for cute ways to put it up between washes. Your hair always looks so lovely.
Love Londontown. Just ordered the illuminating concealer. It's a great polish that doesn't cause damage to my nails. I'm 46 and I have used Norwex body cloths on my face for the last year and finally am getting a clear complexion. The silver must be the pixie dust my face needed. Thanks for all the info. Stay polished!
OK, day 2 of watching this video first thing. Yesterday, I ordered the Londontown Illuminating Nail Concealer (I love Londontown) and this morning I put on earrings and lipstick to walk the dog (and don't you know, I ran into visitors to the people across the street, when I usually see no one). Proof positive that you have to look presentable at all times (ha). Heading over to rewatch the manicure video as my nails are shot from thyroid issues, so want to make "bad" nails as presentable as possible. Looking forward to you doing another one of these!!!
All great tips! If you use a liquid exfoliate, try using it on your hands! It will tackle deeper wrinkles. You might want to up your healthy fat content intake. Fat helps to hydrate the body.
I think also having a well appointed handbag in good condition also makes your look more polished. Having the proper accessories and if you can coordinate your finger and toe nails and or bag and shoes, that can also present well also. Just some of my thoughts. Loved this video! Thanks.
What confounds me about messy buns, particularly sitting behind someone with a messy bun on a long flight, is the constant rearranging and repiling of the hair and the remessing of the bun. It’s messy already, quit fussing with it. 😂
Looking forward to Part 2. Thank you for reminding us that looking polished is a message to ourselves and the world of how we're handling ourselves. We all know that the world acts accordingly, but we do too. I hope in but the only one who has gotten into unpolished habits which spiraled into more unpolished habits and continuing it all.
"Shiny as a result of being rubbed"! I agree so heartily about ripped jeans not being polished or elegant; for me they are eye sores, discordant, and detract from any top the person is wearing with them. These are good reminders; thank you so much, Jennifer.
Ripped jeans always scream to me, “I’m so insecure that I will wear any fad to feel like I fit in and feel cool” . Same with bra straps showing; just trashy looking. I really wish we still dressed like ladies did in the late 50’s and 60’s...so elegant! Just my opinion.
I think to each their own. I like the look but I don't wear ripped jeans because we weren't allowed to growing up and I get cold easily and would rather not let the cold seep in via holes in my jeans. 🤣
Loved your tips! I love Billie razors, too. I've used them for several years and have both of my daughters using them too! I think they work much better than Dollar Shave club for women and better than most razors I've used in the past. My biggest problem right now is my hair...when it's super hot and humid, mine just gets really limp. Need to figure out another way to style it.
I am 43 years old and learnt many years ago that the best way to keep the peace with my hair is to keep it ultra short - the pixie cut has become my 'signature' and I discovered this quite by chance after having an absolute meltdown with my hair so I chopped it all off and have never looked back!
Jennifer I so appreciate your videos and content! I especially love the rude questions series. I find it incredibly hard to navigate improper people. I get angry and annoyed and just can't seem to shake it. As my mother ages I find I need to correct her like a parent does and find when I observe her interactions with others they come off as rude. Rude to wait staff, talking only about herself, just talking too much in general and not asking about others...oh my. I find myself not wanting to hang out with or have a relationship with her! How can I navigate when we are in group settings and I get embarrassed? How can I get past this 😥 thank you so much xxx
Laura- I hope you will see this message and consider my advice. The way you can navigate when you are in group settings with your mother and you find yourself getting embarrassed is to remind yourself that your job is to simply love your mother. This is a reflection on you. Your mother's rude behaviors may or may not be a reflection on her. As our mother's age they may be dealing with all kinds of challenges we may only find out about later. Like early Alzheimer's or dementia. UTI's that present with unique behavioral issues in the elderly, grief and loss, and sadly unhealed trauma from their own childhoods. Love your mother- that is the only thing that the people who see you and your mom in social situations will ever remember about you.
Little plug for Billie! I’ve used their razors for years. I quit during the pandemic but then went back bc I couldn’t find anything as good. They’re definitely worth trying!
Another great video, Jennifer! Love the level of class you bring to us. Thanks for sharing the mishaps. Its a good reminder that we all experience it at one time or another 😊
I've been increasingly aware of little details like this but now feel emboldened to be even more observant and take real action to up my look! I'm so excited 😁 Thank you for these excellent tips!
Great advice. You are very polished. I appreciate your good example of being a homemaker and lovely at the same time. This is great for your husband, and a great example for your children.
It should be said that sparce eyebrows can be a sign of thyroid problems, not just from waxing. If the outer 1/3 is disappearing it can be a sign you might want to get checked.
Hello Jennifer. I am fairly new to your channel. I want take a moment to tell you, how much I am enjoying your monthly "challenges". The music has been especially wonderful! In addition, I have really appreciated many of your other more recent videos. I ordered the "princess" nail color and I absolutely love it! Take care and be well.
Shoes are so important! They can absolutely make or break an outfit. The tricky part is finding shoes that are both classy looking and good for your feet. And, yes, we still polish shoes at my house, though I admit not as often as I probably should! 😀
Shoes are so difficult to keep looking nice. I always scotch guard our shoes when they’re new, or after a good cleaning. It helps keep them looking fresh!
These are wonderful tips Jenn! BTW since covid i started doing my manicures at home and love the illuminating Polish from Londontown as well thanks to you. Its my go-to, now that I strictly work from home. Have a great day!☀️
Amen on the eyebrows! It makes such a difference to just fill them in. On my minimal days, just sunblock and eyebrows and I look great. I see so many women that do a full face of makeup but they neglect to do their eyebrows
This is my pet peeve but I'd much rather no brows than instagram, pomade with concealer, carved out brows. In this day and age of microblading it's such an easy problem to fix.
TY Jennifer for the amazing tip on the Londontown Illuminating Concealer. I unwisely got Gel Nails two months ago and really disliked the very unnaturally shaped and too-long gel nails. After having them removed I saw the awful red lines in my nail plates from unskilled use of that nasty drimmel tool they use. She totally messed up my nails! The Illuminating Concealer WORKS, two coats really smoothed and hid the red lines as this mess grows out!
I am a 47yr old woman who has learned SO MUCH from you. Lessons can come FROM any age group TO any age group. The heart, spirit and mind just needs to be open and ready to receive with humility. God bless you and keep you.
Recently at the dentist, the receptionist wore large fake eyelashes. I was so distracted I couldn't tell you anything about the rest of her ! Definitely not a polished look. Thank you for all the time you put into your videos. Hi from Australia 🌺
I have a lifelong virus that causes itchy red bumps when I use anything creamy on my hands, so I just put in on my cuticles and a few other dry areas. I like to do my cuticles at night, then wash off any residual before putting my (natural color) fingernail polish on the next day. Using this color makes it easy to do my own manicures. At age 61, I no longer need to shave anywhere, so I get waxing in a few areas that still have a little hair when I get my monthly pedicure. It takes at least six months before I have to wax my underarms, for example, there’s hardly any hair. See, getting older isn’t all terrible!
With handbags outlet stores (even online) have quality leather bags, Coach is my favorite but you can also get Michale Kors or Kate Spade bags for like $130 on sale and it's leather. I have 2 coach purses that were about $130 and I love them, the first one I got I've had for years and I used it daily and it still looks brand new because it's a nice quality bag but it was affordable. Even sometimes Target has nice bags, they are faux leather but the style sometimes still looks really nice, a structured bag rather than a slouchy one is better as well.
Great ideas! Love your tipps 🥰 Regarding the eyebrows I think it depends a lot which type of eyebrow you have, I do wax mine because they're Frida Kahlo style and very wild... And still today I polish my shoes, specially dark leather shoes have to look clean and shiny.
A person's shoes say a lot about them and their level of self care and self worth. Your shoes are one of the first things people notice about you. Your father taught you well😊
Thank you for your content. So many people just do not care and I am talking about close contacts I jave and worled with. It was impossible for me to leave the house without my shoes looking clean or nylons or my make up perfect..i would clean my husband tennis shoes and laces and press his work t-shirts. I cpuld not believe how many people woulf wear wrinkles or too short of dresses to work or not proper shoes or attire flr an office. So happy to see other people that actually care ot don't wear leggings that are so comfortanle with showing you much or that reveal so much. Thank you for getting this info out there.
Enjoyed this. I did want to know as you prepare for each season for clothing what are some of your favorite places/brands you go to when you need to replace something?
I find a woman always looks polished if she wears fewer pieces and moving parts. A dress with less embellishment always looks more polished. Think a simple shift in a gorgeous color and a fabric with body. Pearl studs and a pearl bracelet or gold bangle.
I have just found your channel through The Clutterbug. I am a bee but more like a 🦋 at the moment. I have hit two milestones this year. I turned 50 and about to move house. Due to depression and ill health my looks and home have suffered over the past 15 years but over the past week I have had a couple of💡moments. The main thing was The Fantasy Self. I will get into those clothes once I have lost weight, I will be able to go buy those clothes in the quality and style I desire once a get to my ideal weight, I need loads of stuff to show how successful (or not) I am, I need stuff to be happy - all of this is the inner saboteur stopping me. So today I have gone through one of the jumbo compression bags which was not compressed and full of clothes, a double wardrobe which was stuffed full and a 4 drawer chest of drawers. And using what I have learned from just a few of your videos I have still a bag of clothes but they are winter and next size down clothes which is achievable, 2 of the thinnest drawers including general items ie hairdryer, sanitary items etc and the following items in the wardrobe core - 2 skirts, 2 trousers, 5 tops mixture short and long sleeves, extras 6 T shirts, 1 fleece jacket, 1 lightweight cover and 2 waterfall cardigans, 2 dressing gowns, 1 rain jacket, 6 scarfs. And the realisation I don't need to be perfect to deserve to look good, by looking good today I am good enough. Shoes and make up are next.
Jennifer thank you so much for this wonderful video. I am looking for lipstick in the shade you are wearing. Will you please share the details of brand, finish and shade? Again, I thank you.
I never plucked my eyebrows much, just the strays, so they are still full at age 61. They were always skimpy at the ends, so I fill them a tiny bit there and cover the few grays that are coming in. Plucking and waxing don’t just thin them permanently, they make them grow back crooked and leave those big, enlarged pores that one sees after about age 35. If thin, plucked brows are “in”, I just ignore that, tidied-up natural is always nicer. Women who pluck them thin look very outdated now, too.
I agree with fuller brows looking better, but waxing needs really depend on your brows. I’ve had a uni brow and mustache since middle school and even though I’m almost 40, my brows require waxing and still remain full. Just my two sense!
How do you mean? There is privilege in many things, beauty is one of them. Being beautiful also brings about a whole lot of problems as it does make you a target for envy, hatred and sabotage. There is good and bad with everything. I for one believe that good grooming is much more important than beauty. Good grooming, proper speech, deportment and wearing clean clothes are essential and can be had for low cost. Look for how you can improve rather than get hung up on ideas of privilege. It's the difference between having a growth and limited mindset.
Interesting. It must surely help. But certain factors like low mood, illness etc can make it hard even for a beautiful person. Wrinkle free clothing was a great idea. X
I loved all of this! The older I get I find it harder to do but I know it makes me feel so much better when I do add polish. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas.🌺 nancy

Just a word of caution to your viewers.
thank you! My mom had a similiar thing on her nose and she successfully removed it. Take care of your skin ladies
I'm glad you had it treated and taken care of. Thank you!
This is so good to know. Thanks!
Same thing happened to me. It was on my nose, in my 30s. It just wouldn’t heal and became itchy. Overlooked by the dermatologist, I pushed for a biopsy on it. I ended up needing mose and reconstructive surgery.
My central air unit broke last Monday and the repairman is coming tomorrow; I definitely am NOT looking polished these days! I would love a part 2.
Oh dear!
When I was a girl I remember on many Saturday nights my sister and I polishing our shoes to be ready for church the next day. We also ironed our dresses and layers them out ready with an appropriate slip to wear with it. I’m only 42 but it all seems so antiquated now.
I still do all of that (age 61).
I try to pick out my outfit for church, even put it on to mack sure it looks right. Pick out my add ins. Redo my nails, and clean my shoes.
@@brendaackerman9941 same!
Can’t do much about age spots when you’ve e lived six or seven decades.
Great tips. I’d like to add good posture to the list. You’ll look polished and self-confident, and be healthier!
It really is the best medicine.
When we as children laughed loudly my mother would say tinkling bells..tinkling bells. We mocked her at the time (as teenagers do) but now I realise it's true!
To look polished;
Good posture,
Simple earrings,
Hair brushed
Lip gloss
Clean (pressed) clothes
Yes! Brush your teeth!! And the smile also. You said it perfectly. 😊
Also, not doing things in a hurry. At a steady and mindful pace.
I have to admit that's got to be my worst trait: impatience. And I don't know how to calm down and accept that people seem to have all the time in the world especially when it comes to service (and especially where I live - Africa). It drives me wild. Any tips are welcome!
Yes
As my dad used to say, "it's all in the details". He was always polished.
I long to be as neat as my Uncle Peter. He was head cleaner in the office where he worked but he always looked neat and well put together. He was what they call dapper without dressing up.
More, please. Watching this kind of video first thing in the morning can get me off on the right foot. Loved this video.
Thank you!
Great idea! Thank you!
I use a cheap retinol on my hands, the Ordinary makes one.
Very true about fat in the diet, otherwise dry flakey skin, that creams never cover
Yes, a follow-up would be great! I so enjoyed this information! Thanks so much!

Thank you for these good ideas, but mostly for the great example you are! You always look polished, but also very comfortable with who you are ❤
"Shiny as a result of being rubbed"! I agree so heartily about ripped jeans not being polished or elegant; for me they are eye sores, discordant, and detract from any top the person is wearing with them. These are good reminders; thank you so much, Jennifer.
I liked that first definition, Paula!
Thank you so much for being a positive influence for us! I am a busy working mom and I needed these gentle reminders. ❤️
@@faithstar7454 thank you Faith and you are so right. I am aware of these things but again..just loving is all we are called to do in the end . 💜🧡💜
I loved to hear about the nail concealer , so helpful! I have been looking for something like that but never found it.
Little plug for Billie! I’ve used their razors for years. I quit during the pandemic but then went back bc I couldn’t find anything as good. They’re definitely worth trying!
Yes! I am so pleased with this razor. Miles better than the drugstore variety I was using.
Knocked it out of the ballpark with this video 👍👏❣️
Jennifer, you are my visual therapy! Love from the Czech Republic 🌷⚜️
These are great tips! Also, posture - something I always struggle with - goes a long way toward looking polished. Would love a part two!
If you improve your core strength you will automatically stand straighter (unless of course you have spine issues.)
Great tips! Working on different parts of being polished is fun!
You look so youthful and polished. It inspires me to try! (In the process of cultivating a chic lifestyle)
Great advice. You are very polished. I appreciate your good example of being a homemaker and lovely at the same time. This is great for your husband, and a great example for your children.
Everything I have learned about poise and elegance, I have learned from you! Thank you! 💛
Thank you, Allison!
It should be said that sparce eyebrows can be a sign of thyroid problems, not just from waxing. If the outer 1/3 is disappearing it can be a sign you might want to get checked.
So true. And with age as well, but thyroid -- low thyroid -- really did a number on mine.
Yes, the best book to buy would be, "Stop the Thyroid Madness" to learn more.
Absolutely yes please to a follow up.I found this video exceptionally motivating!
It's funny how often people compliment well polished shoes, not that they realise that's why they look good :)
Regarding jeans. Why don’t designers make women’s jeans like men’s in different lengths?
Many do. 🌸
Lenghts and styles! So few women can pull off the skinny jean and most shouldn't even look at them. Ugh
Luxury designers mostly don’t, sadly. But Express and Gap have been my recent go to because they do different lengths.
@@chicalertng Old Navy does too
Shoes are so difficult to keep looking nice. I always scotch guard our shoes when they’re new, or after a good cleaning. It helps keep them looking fresh!
Me, too, at least all the light and medium-colored ones, which are mostly what I wear.
I can’t bring myself to invest in quality shoes. I have MS and all of my shoes become scuffed within a week, because of foot drop.
Great tips! I ordered the foot callous file and the Londontown polish, thank you for the recommendations! 😊
These are wonderful tips Jenn! BTW since covid i started doing my manicures at home and love the illuminating Polish from Londontown as well thanks to you. Its my go-to, now that I strictly work from home. Have a great day!☀️
Amazing!
Thank you. Part 2 please! Also OPI in Bubble Bath.
I have been seeing the Billie advertisements around for awhile and I've been skeptical but you have talked me into it...just made my first order!
Would love a follow up video! Lots to think about here and will try to apply some!
congratulations on a flawless match between your makeup and skin color!
Wonderful! Thank you!
Recently at the dentist, the receptionist wore large fake eyelashes. I was so distracted I couldn't tell you anything about the rest of her ! Definitely not a polished look. Thank you for all the time you put into your videos. Hi from Australia 🌺
Wearing wrong or too heavy make-up is the quickest way to ruin your looks and sometimes make you look ridiculous
I’m not a fan of false lashes in the daytime, especially at work. I think they look trashy.
Thanks Jennifer for this inspiring video. Could you please do an item about how to avoid staining teeth and how to keep teeth white?
Do you polish your nails daily?
I have a de wrinkling setting on my dryer.
These were wonderful tips! I need to work on several of these!😂☺️ I would also love a follow up video Jennifer! Thank you!💗
Thank you, Amanda!
Really good tips! Thanks Jennifer
Thank you for the Essie tip, I have looked at the ballet slipper and felt unsure
Loved this video...I'll be waiting for the second one...I saved this one...Thanks Jennifer
Great ideas! Love your tipps 🥰
Regarding the eyebrows I think it depends a lot which type of eyebrow you have, I do wax mine because they're Frida Kahlo style and very wild...
And still today I polish my shoes, specially dark leather shoes have to look clean and shiny.
My Dad used to polish our shoes, and he showed me how to care for my footwear.
A person's shoes say a lot about them and their level of self care and self worth. Your shoes are one of the first things people notice about you. Your father taught you well😊
@@oliviaknight1123 Thank you, Olivia. My parents always looked nice when they went out in public, and they insisted that we put forth our best.
I love that!
@@cheyennesutton2055 absolutely right!🥰
Jennifer this video was just so nice.Thankyou.
Nice info. Thanks! 😊 FTR, my hair grows out of my head - not down! I’ve got some strategies though to keep it looking nice.
I recommend pimple patches (like the Cosrx one) to treat and conceal raised bumps. It helps heal them faster and makes them look less prominent.
I have a wrinkle free dress, bought 2nd hand. I would like get more. What materials/brands do I have to look for? Thank you!
Loved the video!!! And of course I would love to see a part 2
Please continue this series. Thank you
Enjoyed this. I did want to know as you prepare for each season for clothing what are some of your favorite places/brands you go to when you need to replace something?
I’d also love to know the process you do to prepare for each season clothing change.
I find a woman always looks polished if she wears fewer pieces and moving parts. A dress with less embellishment always looks more polished. Think a simple shift in a gorgeous color and a fabric with body. Pearl studs and a pearl bracelet or gold bangle.
My thing is teeth and nails. Especially toe nails in summer with sandals. I don’t like unpolished toes. 💕
Again, I thank you.
great tips, Jennifer.
I like these tips because they are reasonable and actually doable. I bought that nail concealer from your link.
Is there a corelation between " beauty privilage" and looking polish? Looking forward for a Part 2 of this lovely video!!! 💐
