Aside from the Bf 109 TL, Me 509, and perhaps the Me 262 HG II and HG III, all these aircraft have at least as much of a right to be introduced to War Thunder as the Ho 229 V3 did. @@dontworry2379 I somewhat doubt we will see a premium F-14 until we at least have a F-18 and one more F-14. The best options for a premium F-14 are either an Iranian F-14A (not an A Early like we have in-game), or a US F-14A (again not an AE) either would require at least a US F-14B, and honestly would probably require the F-14D and rank 9 alongside a F-18C or F. Now that doesn’t mean we couldn’t see a F-14 as a squadron or event vehicle sooner than that, but generally you don’t see top premiums matching what’s in the tree until what’s in the tree is a spot or two down from top tier. Right now the highest premiums are 11.3s, and required us to see 12.0s. To get a premium F-14A (again better than what we have in-game) we need to see at least 13.0 and possibly even higher than that, as it’s entirely likely an American or Iranian A would be 11.7-12.0.
I doubt we see the Typhoon anytime soon. It entered Service in 2006. It would also add a huge balance issue as its undeniable the best generation 4 aircraft existing. I think its more likely that we get more Tornado Variants first like the ASSTA 2 and ASSTA 3 Maybe even the Tornado Recce. I think that the Typhon will come together with the F-15 EX Eagle 2 and maybe even the SU-57 to bring something that has a little chance of winning a 1v1 with evenly skilled pilots.
@@ieqit4482 Yes but no. The ASSTA 1 originally had only the nessescary wiring but not the pod itself. So they might actually split that into two planes at one point.
Eurofighter trench 1 was interceptor so not really air to ground, eurofighter trench 2 got air to ground capability and it had aesa radar later version of it got an upgraded version, and then trench 4 will have one of the most advanced radar in use today
The German Tornado ECR does not have a Cannon due to the sensors used for SEAD. And they could add Tornado ASSTA 3.1 with better CAS weapons like the GBU-54 LJDAM and the IRIS-T for AA. (I think ASSTA 2 or ASTA 3 aren't worth to add)
Maybe you didnt think about this one, How about the Swiss F-18, as a premium or event vehicle, since they added the Hunter f58, it would make sense to have the swiss f18 too.
I didn't add any other nations to the tech tree videos, when I make them I only focus on the nation being shown; though in some instances I do include some premiums and such, but nothing more.
The Alpha Jet A would make perfect sense for rank 6, the ICE is another story but it's an event vehicle, so the rank means nothing as that's just for progression purposes.

@@lazylime8046 I understand how early ones work. The aim-120 doesn't need the same range as a r-27 to still be significantly better. Ya historically for jets they put the later/more upgraded one on TT and other in events/premium. Idk if it was actually built so maybe that was the reason he put it there.
Also technically if Gaijin was nice they could get the Ea-18 growler and super hornet since they did approve the purchase but switched to F35-A
East Germany used MiG21F13, I'd love to see It in the German tree someday
The Eurofighter is too advance like adding it would need at least the YF-23 and Mig-44 because of the capabilities of the Eurofighter is already like a 5th gen but without stealth
I hope they will really add the eurofighter
isnt it cool how they added the mig 29 G into the non premium German tech tree
With the way the Germans intend to use it IRL, the F-35 makes more sense to be put into the Ground attack Line behind thje Tornado, since it's supposed to take over its position.
Dude, it's been 8 years of me playing this game, if they don't add Poland this year they never will. It doesn't even make sense, so many full blown tech trees for Poland are made on the forums. Plus it's not copy and paste, they have a crap ton of their own vehicles.
I would assume Polish f-16’s would be added to the German tech tree as well.
Why the polish and not the dutch ones? The dutch armed forces have a closer link.
@@koendekortdk2198 Mainly based on the fact that there already is a Polish vehicle in the German tree.
@@milkyplays5566 yeah but there's also polish premiums in the UK tree. A dutch subtree makes more sense.
@@koendekortdk2198 year later and benelux got added to france....
What a huuuuuge gap between F4F ICE and Eurofighter.
Thats insane.
They have to be be at least BR 14.0 or even higher. Same for the 5th Gen fighter jets, at least 14.7 or 15.0
Earliest Eurofighter should be in the same ballpark as F-15's and Su-27's with Fox-3 missiles.
@@miquelescribanoivars5049 around 12.3/7
i would put the MiG-29 prior to the Eurofighter due to Germany ''selling' it's MiG's 29's to Poland (for 1 euro...) in 2003-2004 with the Eurofighter as replacement.
Another aircraft you could add on this list is the Typhoon ECR/SEAD as germany is the first nation to announce that they want to buy them.
Didn't they cancel that plan? I can't really add *potential* stuff into trees, just confirmed orders and such.
@@lazylime8046 theyve added potential stuff before
@@bagelmaster2498 Like the F-16AJ? Yes, that was a massive blunder.
The F35 is a Tornado replacement not a EF replacement. Its ment to carry out strikes and in worst case nuclear strikes.
1:30 IIRC the DDR operated 76 MiG-21F-13's from 1962 to 1974.
The tornado assta2 would be a good addition because it could carry the irs-t aam and it could carry the electronic defense pod instead of one of the flare pods, and I’m pretty sure the assta1 could also use it
Dont forget the Typhoon Electronic Warfare that will be converting 15 Typhoons to this platform.
i would put the f35 as a new branch parallel to the typhoon
Would be nice a sub tree to complement the german tech tree, probably Poland?
I don't like top tier premium jets. I hope planes like the mig 29 never come as a premium pack.
It is one day
my predictions are the next premium top tier will be the F14 early that’s been announced and the gripen A
@@dontworry2379 I somewhat doubt we will see a premium F-14 until we at least have a F-18 and one more F-14.
@@seniorspaz8754 I am imagining the flood of money in Gaijin HQ when those premiums got released...
Isn't the Tornado Recce just a Tornado with a Recon Pod and some Cockpit stuff? So basically what we have with the ASSTA 1 and the LITENING II pod?
@@ieqit4482 Yes but no. The ASSTA 1 originally had only the nessescary wiring but not the pod itself. So they might actually split that into two planes at one point.
The tech tree is missing the schnitzel-3000 blitzkreiger
Germany has recently discussed buying f18g and f18 super hornets or f15ex aswell
Eurofighter trench 1 was interceptor so not really air to ground, eurofighter trench 2 got air to ground capability and it had aesa radar later version of it got an upgraded version, and then trench 4 will have one of the most advanced radar in use today
nope, Tranche 1 Block 5 got air to ground capabilities with GBU-16 and GBU-48
@@zahnatom yes, but it was more like an early beta add on. Real a-g capability starts with T2 block 10
Or even with the Taurus cruise missile :) which could be carried from the ASSTA 2 upwards
@@ieqit4482 i would love Cruise missiles, they would give some Fair competition to aas
Regarding Rank V, we could also get the P. 1101, the Ju 287, the Me 262s HG I & HG II, the Night Fighter 262 and the Me 263 a.k.a. Ju 248
Maybe you didnt think about this one, How about the Swiss F-18, as a premium or event vehicle, since they added the Hunter f58, it would make sense to have the swiss f18 too.
As a German I need to say: please no💀
@@nick7418 Why not bro D:
@@deyx18 because it’s not German. I hate vehicles that are in the „wrong“ nation
@@nick7418 Well, that is respectable, but for people that dont have their tech tree, i like it. As a Spaniard, i like to have my vehicles in Italy.
Yea, they already added the Swiss Hunter, they could also take Dutch aircraft since we work together heavily with the Bundeswehr/Luftwaffe
I feel like we could also get a Danish F-16 premium!
I didn't add any other nations to the tech tree videos, when I make them I only focus on the nation being shown; though in some instances I do include some premiums and such, but nothing more.
Correct name for the Thyphoon in the german tt would be Eurofighter Taifun
I think you could add all trainer variants as an event vehicle.
He was right about the Su-22M4 :D
It’s true that the ECR DOESNT have a cannon, instead it has the ELS (Emitter locator system) and stronger engines (The RB-199 MK 105)
Alpha jet would be SOOO much at rank 7 and not rank 6 but year i gotta agree its all interesting stuff
The Alpha Jet A would make perfect sense for rank 6, the ICE is another story but it's an event vehicle, so the rank means nothing as that's just for progression purposes.
I feel like Gaijin would make planes such as the F-35, F-22 and the Tempest as a Rank IX instead of Rank VIII
Because poland has f16c/d and T-50 Golden Eagle, german tree may also have it, like leopard 2 pl
I'd like to see upgraded polish Mig-29s
I will include those in a post-soviet nations tree.
Maybe a Poland and Belgium sub tech tree could help support the German aviation tree.
I think the F-35 would be added behind the Tornado as it is it’s successor for germany
I hope they fill out the 70s-90s aircraft before we get the 4.5s
There are several ww2 german jets that have been pased to developers years ago, they arent on this list and they didnt even make it to the game yet.
The F-35's should come after the tornado.
maybe a austria subtree with another typhoon and draken etc
You should do something like this for all nations! It would be really cool just to know a ballpark estimate of what to expect.
We've done them for most, think Sweden, the US, USSR, and Italy are the only ones left?
I dont get why they would go with the Eurofighter T1, 2, etc but not the tornado ASSTA Modernization
German have 1 intersting variant of F-4 is F-4F ICE or KWS. She have new APG-65 radar and can be load aim-120 and aim-9L. I think it should come before the Typhoon cause after WW2 german airforce is not so good
Typhoons can also carry IRIS-T but i dont think gaijin would implement those missiles
Can you do a U.S.A. version of this. This is very interesting type of video. Love your content, keep up the the good work👍🏽
yeah, exacty what we need! More of these MiG-21 Buckets.... -_-
F35 and other gen 5 jets will clearly be tier 9. That way gaijin can sell tier 8 premiums for like 80 bucks and make a freakin ton of money. We all know the snail. They won’t let this opportunity pass. 😂
Bro WTF HOW💀
thank for video ;) but i think you forget one think :) when they add switzerland hunter they can add swizz F-18 too germany and that will bee cool :)
We didn't forget, we just didn't include subtrees and other nations into making this.
Thing is, CAS is so powerful that current 4.5 to 5th gen aircraft should sit at something like 15.0 and could not fight with current tanks. Otherwise that would make no sense
could you start doing ground forces too? and btw germany doesnt have F-35A they will get them in 2030
Mat doesn't do ground
We plan to go into ground content but we have a bunch of stuff to get out of the way first.
2027*
@MatAWG Whats about the F18 for Switzerland?
We don't add any vehicles from other nations when making a future tech tree video.
F-35A behind the Tornado, because that its role in the Luftwaffe and the Mig-29G doesnt have to be Premium, just put it after the Mig-29A, the Mig-29G is just a NATO refit when the DDR joined the BRD.
controversial opinion, after the Mig 29, I think it csn be a Polish F16. The Eurotyphoon could go to after the F4F ICE since it’s on the the German column
Tech-wise polish f16s should go to the us tree. But gaijin put a british jet (hunter) into the german one. 🤷♂️
Tornado ECR could carry ARMs
got another part right
wheres the tornado adv? not only england has these , we do aswell ofc
Germany never used the ADV.
a mig 29 premium?
i'm going to buy that mig29 so hard
I bet Gen 4.5 and 5 fighters will definitely be in Rank 9
We didn't add any ranks here as it's just a vehicle showcase.
@LazyLime Yeah I know just making a personal statement what I would think would happen 🤷♂️
Calling it early Germany gets the Dutch or Danish F-16’s & F-18’s
or Swiss F/A-18Cs with how they gave it the Hunter F.58
would love to see this for the russian tech tree. i really enjoy these formats. 👍

The Typhoon is a better fighter than the F35, the F35 should be below the Tornado
good vid,pls israel next
Will you ever do this for us ground forces mains🥺
They would add sub nation tech trees, i wonder what nation would be with German.
Smth like Switzerland Austria or Netherlands and probably Argentina
the ecr dont have cannons and no gun pod options
maybe some Swiss classic hornets
ngl you got right F4F ice but not mig 29g
MiG-21PF is just PFM. It's the same. And PFM is literally SPS-K, that's just Russian vs German name.
well what about a swiss f18?
F-4F ICE can be added right now, '"""ohhhh AIM-120. Break the game is so OP, u shot and attack while defend nooo is broken""" i dont care, R-27ER is already breaking the game, maybe an AIM-120 can be perfect count, longer ranges R-27ER, short ranges AIM-120A.
Add the 120B then, as in practical terms it's just an A that can loft.
I think you are severely underestimating what being able to turn around after shooting will do to top teir gameplay. Any fox 1 will be uncompetitive if all your targets go cold/ notch without having to wory about their missiles they shot landing.
That being said when they do get introduced I doo believe it should be on the ice.
@@samgeorge4798 You can't turn away after launching an amraam though, especially not with the systems we'll be getting in the game for the foreseeable future - you'll still need to hold a lock until it goes pitbull, which for early amraams isn't until like 12km away from the target or so.
@@lazylime8046 I understand how early ones work. The aim-120 doesn't need the same range as a r-27 to still be significantly better. Going cold drops the effective range of the enemy missile by half (generalization, speed alt etc matter). Being able to turn around for even the last few km in a missile joust significantly lowers the chance of a hit.
I'm not saying they should not be added or that they will be broken, I'm saying that r-27er will not be comparable in actual effectiveness.
Please don't bridge the gap between the mig19s and the mig21mf. there are a lot of leaps in the vehicle br tech tree. German players suffer enough and don't want another obstacle to spend their hard earned SL and time researching for some discount version of the mig21mf. Also, going from a plane without missiles or flares like the mig19s to a vehicle without cannons like the mig21pf would probably throw off their playstyle development.
The Typhoon tree should be a new tree besides the F4 / Mig´s / couse its a EU plane and has no rel to USA and RUS. So in my opinion Rank 8 new Techtree
After the alphajet/g91
i agree totally
but this line is also the me262 and bf109 line
9:55 That all the countries of NATO will have except France 😉 which will undoubtedly have the rafale
Keeping everything in rank 8 and not raise another so rank 7 premium are again useless? You have underestimated Gaijin.
What? We just do it so it's not a "what it may look like in the future" video, but rather just going over what can come.
Can you make a review in the f4s?
