In all fairness the F 15C already has modern weapons and radar but ik what you mean. Shits gonna be nuts when the 9X, 120D and equal missiles come across the other nations
F-15E 1980 comes after F-111F, Hornet-D after harrier, Hornet A+/C after F-14B, F-15C with APG-63v2 and aim9X/aim-120C-5
what does the F/A-18D offer over the F/A-18C other than extra weight in war thunder?
@@Pvt_Wade It doesn’t offer anything but it’s the one the navy likes to use for it’s ground attack, the single seat hornets usually accompany for an escort
@@Pvt_Wade we have the same situation in the israeli tech tree. Theres no proper bomber, so gaijin added the F16D. And IMO its a great idea to do the same with the F-18 double for the american striker line in their tech tree. And the fighters F-18A/C to the naval branch after F-14s.

And the f15 won’t be in the bomber cat the f111a c & f are strategic bombers that’s y it’s there, it’ll probably go before or after the f15 we already have lol
I don't think the F-18 Hornet would be next to the Tomcat, It will be next to the AV-8B II Harrier following the real change made by the Marines when they switch the Harrier for the Hornet. Let's say an example The F-15C next one F-15E Strike Eagle, F-14B next one F-14D and so on. Remember First Hornet squadron went to the Marines

But there is no "Marines" branch in the american tech tree. First is light fighters, then more heavy fighters, then naval fighters, then strike aircraft and at the far end to the right are the bombers. The F-18A or the C do not belong to the striker branch after the Harrier. Maybe a D variant like in the israeli tech tree (F-16D is last plane in bomber branch), but sorry, IMO the fighters need to be in the naval branch after F-14s.

@@theannihilator9167 The F-18 is actually the F/A-18 officially. F/A means fighter/attacker. Since there are no attack aircraft after the harrier, the F/A-18s will have to go there. Not to mention it's original purpose was to be an attack jet.
@@DzinkyDzink Nothing is after the F-14D and F-35C unless something new comes out. Both of those planes are classified.
I think we could see the strike eagle coming soon to war thunder, if not in December which is likely going to be focused on the hornet it will be sometime next year, probably in the April-June update
The problem with the 15E is its radar. The E is, technologically-speaking, upgraded beyond the F-15C with ground mapping radar, AESA AA radar, etc. Unless Gaijin just decides to give it a fake PESA radar I doubt we will see a Strike Eagle before a later-model 15C.

@@mesobean I stand corrected, the APG70 installed in some 15Es is indeed a PESA. The APG63v2 also found in some 15Es is an AESA.
@@mangosuppe8706 Gaijin has added false radars in the past, most recently with the Baz. Yes they eventually acquiesced and upgraded it to a true model but for a time it was a false radar they decided to purposely put in the game despite documentation supporting it having those features. And all I said was that if Gaijin wanted to add the 15E soon they’d have to give it a false PESA not an AESA. I didn’t say they would do that.

Important question. I created my War Thunder account 7 years ago, I have all the vehicles/planes in the game. And sadly, probably spent thousands on GE and premium time over the years. However, I forgot my PW for the account. And what really sucks, I used a different email address for that game; and it was one of the Gmail accounts that Google recently deleted due to inactivity. I've asked Gaijin, explaining the situation, they send an AI, or non-human, two sentence response, saying they'll send a code to the deleted email account.
Man, it's really rough playing the game. I have to play on a 11 year old laptop with a busted graphics card. Meaning, even with HDMI and another monitor, due to the bad graphics card, the computer will make an 8x12 inch screen. Essentially, with such a small screen, I can only really bomb or due BVR via fox 3s. Ground RB and props are completely out of the question, too small of screen. And I have a couple of new computers, one quite powerful, that I could use if I recovered the pw. I can't imagine grinding every vehicle again.
*I logged onto WT with that laptop Years ago when I was visiting family, so that's the only reason I can play.
Did you ask on the Gaijin support? For me, wait time has always been usually 8hr-24hr between each reply. Considering where I live, that's pretty swift response time, and from actual humans. They may help you recover your account. Oh wait, you lost access to your Gaijin account too, haven't you?
@@merajmasuk Thanks for responding. I have access to the Game(old laptop), and through that, support support staff/other stuff, which is using my account. When I've explained the situation, however, they say they sent a code to the deleted email account tied to the game. I don't know if they have to do that as the first few steps or not. It could be a human, but it's odd that their solution is to send a code to an email account that no longer exists.

Have you tried googling "Recover a recently deleted Google Account" and followed the steps?
I had the same issue, go onto your old laptop and add an additional email to your account, they can transfer ownership from one email to another, this should be possible since you are still able to play on your account on the other computer

no the USAF upgraded a bunch of their F-16C’s to the SABR standard, which is an AESA

I agree with Christopher, 100% F-18C will be added under F-14, the super variant isn’t really needed since it is a copy paste, if anything it will just be another variant thingy, F-18D fs will go after harrier but maybe in later updates
the logical next step of the ardvark would be the bone/lancer to keep in theme of a "bomber" line
I feel like they need more lines at top tier to better organize the aircraft if they want to keep them more sorted based on roles.
The F-35A would be the plane to go after the F-16, though you do have options for F-16s with further upgrades that are used by other nations to go into the US tech tree. You have F-16 block 70 jets that I can see going in that line. For the F-15 I can see the F-15EX as well as the F-22 going into that line, which is pretty much it making those two lines the cleanest lines for the US tech tree.
With the F-14 things get complicated as the F-16 is a multirole plane and the F-35A is a multirole plane while the F-15 A,B,C,D were air superiority fighters and the F-22 was designed as an air superiority platform. The F-14 entered service with two roles one being fleet defense and the other being air superiority and the Navy currently does not have a dedicated plane for these two roles so technically you can leave the F-14 line dead. Though later on the F-14 became a multirole platform, IMHO since the legacy hornet entered service for the NAVY replacing the A-7 corsair II with the ability to help the F-14 it make sense to add under the AV8B+. Before they had added that plane I could see them adding the Legacy hornet in either lines though it feels like it is going to go after the AV8B+.
F-15E does make sense after the F-111 however I wish they would rethink bombers as I would love to see things like the, besides the B1 and B-52 I would love to see older bombers like the B-58 and B-36. Hell they can add the XB35 and XB36 in the line after the B-29.
I feel like if they made BR dependent upon hardware(Weapons and Radar) instead of frame(F-16C) then that would help with some of the problems with grinding stock jets and we also don't need to copy paste a bunch of the same jet in a line.

Btw, I always thought that letters in names of US aircraft mean types of aircraft like “F” - fighter, “A” - attacker, “B” - bomber, “F/A” - fighter-attacker, but why the F-111 wasn’t called B-111 then if it’s obvious that it isn’t a fighter or attacker, it’s literally just an older version of the Bone (B-1 Lancer) - supersonic bomber that supposed to penetrate enemies air defence at high speed at very low altitude
There are a few 'Bombers' that were given the F designation to entice pilots to pick them because all the cool kids picked fighters. The F-117 might be a case of obfuscation for the sake of hiding the stealths.
F-111 is a fighter and was meant to be what the F-14 was but it sucked at the job. F-117 was kinda a grey area in this regard but still it's consistent throughout the system.

Unpopular opinion. I don’t think we will see the F/A-18 with 120s until December. However, there could be a small chance for the F/A-18A without them.

yeah they'll probably make the F/A-18 an unrealistic UFO with insane performance and slap it into the game with no balance whatsoever

they could also add the E/A-18 Growler after F-111F or after the F-15E depending on which version of the F-18 they add since it's based on the Super Hornet

It’s clear that you lack some information on US aircraft. For example the newest most modern F-16 is not the block 50 but rather the block 70. It’s more than just a radar upgrade. Reinforced wing spars, slightly enlarged wing surfaces along with other upgrades to the aircraft. PLEASE do more research before you post these videos.

Nice video! Personally, i’d like them to stop focusing so much on top tier, and instead flesh out smaller tech trees. Maybe even add more ww2 self propelled artillery vehicles like the priest and hummel.

After F-16C Block-50, i think after it we need F-16V Block-70 due to APG-83 and after that we have F-21 which is F-16V but with triple mount AIM-120, and before it the F-16C Block-25 since the B-40 and B-30 has minors difference between it and F-16 B-50, however F-16C B-25 have less advanced radar of which is APG-68 early variant unlike APG-68(V)9, Now the naval line, correct F-14D plus before it the F/A-18A and we have the F-15C line, i think new F-15C which i cannot remember the exact model, but it has APG-63(V)3, this new model would have APG-63(V)3 unlike the one we have, which has APG-63(V)1, which has the same air-to-air as APG-63(V)2 with additional air to ground, Now for the ground striker, yes the F/A-18B , since it was the Attack variant of F/A-18A (WSO and Pilot), and Now for Bombers, of course the F-15E

I can see the Nighthawk being after the F-111 definitely because then that gives the snail to test out stealth options and how to code it in game after after the F-16 and the F-15 I can see copy and paste with upgrades to newer weapons and radar systems to allow a pave way for the next gen aircraft and you already know where I think they have 18 is going to be😂
personally what I am hoping for is the f/a 18a with aim9Ls and sparrows. the og had an insane thrust to weight ratio

The AIM-120 was actually tested on an F-14A, not a D.
It was being tested to be made compatible for the F-14D though. That's the point. And the tests were successful and the plane would've gotten the software to use them if the tomcat program wasn't killed.

They need to stop adding to top teir.. start decompression and add more filler light attack jets like the Dragonfly and so on. They have a ton of aircraft from mid to late cold war they can still add.
I hope that in the next update we get at least f18 hornet, i dont think eurofighter or rafale will make it to the game right now but f18 should be added some time ago. If they wont add something like eurofighter, with F18 and swiss tech tree for germany they can have plane that can compete in top tier

su 33 should really be after yak141 and it could be added very soon, for the flanker tree the su 30 or newer version of 27 should be next

f18 is not better then f16 or f15 it should be around same tier then f35 and f22 i guess not many jets left for US and europe will get eurofighter and rafale and russia su30 su35 and su 57

the next major things that are going to happen to toptier are going to be better radars and better more modern missles
it is going to go more thwards longer range BVR engagements because of better radars and longer range missiles that will make it harder to notch and defeat
maybe more f15's with higher aim120 loads and for russia we can have loads of newer flankers and more modern missiles like better variants of r77's
or even r37m and the new aim174
god they have so much to do that can make top tier a lot more harder and more interesting
and it's not going to be that hard to implement
they have the mechanics implemented and the game is ready for more modern stuff
I can see the time where people are going to do mainly bvr and will mostly try to avoid getting closer

With the trees in their current form I think it will look like this:
Air Force Fighters: F-16C -> F-16C (2007)
Heavy Fighters: F-15C MSIP -> F-15C MSIP II (2007)
Naval Fighters: F-14B -> F-18C (I think the D Tomcat will come later as a foldered aircraft under the B but after the F-18)
Attackers: AV-8B -> F-15E
Bombers: F-111F -> F-117
Premium: CF-188 (Canadian F-18A+)
Squadron: F-18D
Event: F-18A
The US needs an agm better than mavericks I know there are a ton of other ones these aircraft can carry, I’m sick of mavericks getting easily intercepted
Well mavericks are pretty much just as intercept-able as any other agm in the game.

Let them just fix the flight model Su 27 and MiG 29, they don’t have to add anything. Let them just fix these damn flight models. I've already had enough. It’s as if they were paid for in order to humiliate Russian planes, I just don’t see any other explanation. There are a million proofs on their damn forum, but they don’t seem to notice.
I even saw footage of the F15 maneuvering better than the Su 27 in this game. It's just some kind of joke
flanker is a heavy fighter so it wont turn fast with lots of missles but yes, its fm is really messed up
@@peposad2588 Bro, this plane, even without missiles, loses a lot of energy when maneuvering. This is just a straight-flying trough that cannot turn without losing all its energy. The F15 should be something like this, but for some reason it’s maneuverable. It feels like they mixed up the F15 and Su27. You can go to DCS and compare the flight model there. And there are a lot of proofs on the forums, with numbers that developers try not to notice.

@@peposad2588 they cry anyway. now in simulator battles it is impossible to find a room with at least half filled with the red team. nobody wants to play on this. nobody is saying to make a UFO out of the su27, for that there will be another su35. but the flight model at least needs to be brought to the aircraft documentation data

At this point I think gaijin should just add the 120C-7 and 9-X with a F-15EX and a F/A-18G so the US mains can be happy and maybe then they realise how good of a nation they are
