Lanolin oil is the 1 we use here in Australia too🇦🇺 spray it on the underside of the 4wd 👍stops salt spray etc when go on beach ⛱️ and general protection 👌good choice

Hello friend, you can probably use 5w-40 for the cold winter months and something thicker like a 10w-40 in the summer months. Not sure what your exact make and model car are so hard to say for certain the best option.

I’m always using NGK whenever possible.
So happy not to have that issue........2-4 Snows per winter usually less than 2 inches each. If anything is put down, it is brine water on the streets . Hose the under carriage off after the next rain has flushed the streets. Pretty much little or no rust after 30 years and more......
I don't know why anyone would use PB Blaster - That is a Disaster for rubber and plastics. I would be more inclined to go with Silicon Spray @ less than $5/can. (yes, it does smell a little but it is not bad and it goes away quickly.) Silicon is Rubber and Plastic friendly.....I do not know how long it would last - a wax would probably last longer. I would not try to recoat during winter if it did not make it because would probably be trapping the salt. I would only do in the last part fall after a good undercarriage washing had dried. But Hey, what do I know? I do not have this issue and do not have any experience, just my opinion. 😜
