Does the annulgram damage the disc like a disogram

Anytime a needle is inserted into the disc, there is a potential for some annulus damage. The good thing about the Discseel procedure is that the fibrin is injected into the needle hole right away, sealing the hole and allowing the disc to heal. This makes the annulogram unlikely to damage the disc (as long as it is performed at with Discseel). @@thelenny38 Like any other treatment for back pain and sciatica, Discseel plus PRP works very well but it is not perfect. The success rate is good, better than surgery and steroid injections, we see is ~ 80% of patients get significant improvement with back pain and leg symptoms (sciatica, weakness, other). The fibrin seals the annulus after the injection, this allows the disc to heal any insult from the procedure, this is regardless of pain relief success. @@janmiedza6607 Ozone injections into the disc are a safe and effective treatment for disc herniations. Once the disc herniation shrinks, you can seal the tears with discseel and PRP.
