Your accent is totally fine bro... don't lose any time/energy trying to change it whatsoever.
Thanks for being such a huge inspiration in my own filmmaking journey!
In terms of scene lighting/composition/settings breakdowns, this is probably one of the most comprehensive ones i have seen here on youtube! EXCELLENT work man!! first explaining it in the scene itself and the showing bts clips of the set really helped me understand the principles you used to achieve the look! so so good man!!!!
Lee Donohue thank you !! This was my very very first UA-cam video , and you I didn’t know if I was gonna be able to give away infos in a clear way ! Glad it works
Wow, thank you for doing this video! It's very generous of you to open up your process like that, and a huge (HUGE!) inspiration.
Also, not everyone can be a good presenter, but you seem to be a natural. You are certainly my new favorite UA-cam filmmaker to learn from :)
Keep up the great work and I can't wait for your next video!

Alessandro your short films look amazing, the story, colors, lighting, editing, everything, I been following you for several months and this is what I wanted to see, BTS of how you do everything, I just got the bmpcc 6k w/18-35 1.8 sigma, and I am in the market for lighting, gimbals, etc.. can wait for your next short film and color correction in resolve, thanks my friend...

creaCtivity thank you bro ! I’m happy to hear this
This was a great video. I'm purchasing the 6k next month for our productions as well. definitely enjoyed the tips on making our scenes more cinematic.....you have a new fan
Love to hear that!! Thank you
Wonderful. I learned a lot! Please keep it going.
Accent is fine, it was not distracting at all. Don't worry about it. Great work breaking down how you shot the film. I'm looking forward to the videos on how you do your color grades. Keep up the good work!
I like your short films, your talent and passion! Keep it going!!! You just got another genuine subscriber!
Victor Tan thank you! I’m editing a new short film, hopefully it will be the best yet !
Great video and also very educational 🔥 keep up the good work 😎
Thank you! Very glad to hear that!
Awesome brother. Truly amazed that you have only been shooting films for a few short years now. Awesome job. Thank you for the breakdown.
yes I started 2 years ago with shorts, so literally everyone can start anytime and get good results if you have some patience and give it some time!
well done. this making me pickup my camera and start filming again.
Thank you for the break down, i remember i asked for it last month on Facebook, Great work my man, to both you and Joe
Thank you man!
Done exactly as I suspected. Good planning. Proper lighting and matching scene. Good composition and audio. Actors are quite professional. Good job!
This is gold bro. Really learned a lot from this BTS video. I been stressing about doing everything myself and with what you have shown, its doable and results awesome. And I agree with you about the lighting and planning ahead the colours and all that, makes work a whole lot easier to work on in post. Awesome job dude. And I'd say keep your accent, dont work on it too much, you dont want to end up sounding like every other youtuber out there. Oh, by the way, I'm the guy that told you about my friend sending me your film on WhatsApp, that was random. Great film bro.
So many more ppl told me about WhatsApp after you , it looks like it became sorta popular on that platform!
i just discovered your channel today and i want to say you are amazing my guy!
Hey, thank you so so much! Super happy to hear that you're enjoying the content.

Awesome bro. This is really nice and good job on doing a face reveal video. Would love to hear more in future about your non technical approaches to videos too (such as your stories, motivation and personal inspiration etc.) Can’t wait for this channel to blow up 👏🏽
That stuff is also super important and yes I will cover that.
Very useful! Learned so much. Keep it up man!
Love to hear that! Glad it helped!
Definitely earned a subscriber!! Thanks a lot bro

You're welcome, I'm happy you liked it!
THANK YOU!
Great bro..I asked you for this.. Thank you so much.. ♥️
You got it! You're welcome
Such a good walkthrough on the process! Thanks for making this video. Quick question for you. Any tips on filming shorts completely by yourself (meaning you're also the actor). I live an in area where I really don't have others to work with on a regular basis and just want to practice as much as possible some lighting and framing techniques. Without other people to act though, I'm kind of stuck doing it all myself. If you have tips on how to do this and how to get inspiration for coming up with short skits to practice lighting and filming, I'd love to hear it!
Big work..!!
Grazie !!!
Great job
Thank you so much!
sei un grandeeeeee usi i miei divani eh
badhabit pagherò le royalties promesso
this is very nice, I hope you can go throughout your others shorts films
Taking some more BTS lately, that will make it easier for me to break them down.
Thanks man, that is very informative.
Awesome, I'm happy it helped!
Great info
👏👏👏👏👏
Well done man with this info! -Aviv
Glad to hear that! Thank you for leaving a positive feedback!
Btw background song sounds like Khruangbin. If you don't know them, check them out.
Anyway cheers for tips, the films look great! I really need to invest into a key, all I have is F7 and MX lol. UA-cam lacks these types of videos, thank you for breaking down lit everything! So happy I subbed.
PS: So didn't notice the phone, this is why you have smashed this out the water! I did notice his lav on the chest tho but that's minor compared to the overall greatness.
Thank you so so much! WIll make more tutorials soon
Hi AxiA, Thanks for another great lesson, Question: would you go into greater detail on your 3 mic system focusing on setup and post processing? Thanks
nice breakdown bro!
Glad It was helpful and clear! First time doing a tutorial so glad it works
Thank you.
Great info!
Thanks a lot! Glad it helped!
Fantastic behind the scenes! Learned a lot! Are you also using the 4k w/ sigma to record yourself? That also looks amazing.
Thank you, and yes I did use that to record myself
Looks like you have upload your paid master classes on UA-cam 😅 beautifully done man. Really inspiring 👌🏻
Would love to see a video on gear and setup
Might do one soon
Really hope you do more of these. I shoot as a one man band most of the time due to budget so this was very informative. How did you record the audio from the phone and sync it up? Did you simultaneously shoot the scene for both characters?
I used only once camera, and I didn’t record audio on my phone , i used mainly lavalier microphones plugged into my camera so I didn’t have to do any sync in post
You're the nest
This is free gold
Love to hear that!
what settings for BRAW compression you usually use? Colors looks just great
8:1 ! I think compression isn’t that important as you think!
@@AxiA understood thanks for your answer, im just trying to figure out how did you achieve those awesome colors, but i guess its all those little bits and pieces which together makes it perfect.
Do you plan to do some video about your colorgrading workflow? i would preciate it a lot, anyway great job keep it going and have a great day ! :)
Do you shoot 4k DCI or 2:4:1? And do you use 3:1 or 5:1 braw?
braw 3:1 and no I don't use 4k DCI because my focal reducer is more likely to introduce vignetting in that mode unfortunately
I have a 2015 iMac computer what do I need to run 4k property
No sure. I’d say first thing would be an SSD drive. Not sure you can upgrade an IMAC tho. Also try the black magic speedtest that will tell you what type of files/resolution your computer should be able to render
Dedicated GPU with at least 6GB VRAM (Resolve loves VRAM), 8 Core CPU, 32GB RAM, SSD for OS, SSD for footage (depending on bitrate), NVME/SSD for scratch (optional).
Mix and match these to what you can upgrade your iMac with but if you can, it would be more cost effective to save up, sell your iMac and get a new one or go Windows.
thank u!very very helpful!
Glad to hear that!
AxiA except to ur new short films or tutorial!great job!
