Ingenious. Love the part when you hit your wife in the head with the tripod. Hilarious!
🤣Thanks, Jesse! She was supposed to just make it look like it hit her, but I guess she takes her acting seriously!
Get a hit 😂 🇯🇲
😉
Spousal abuse is not a laughing matter. Let's keep it classy gentleman....

🙌Awesome!
This is great stuff. I feel so stupid for not thinking of a single one of these myself. I actually went to a school where they did teach (somewhat) proper techniques, but of course they had the proper gear for it. Afterwards I thought stuff like this couldn't really be done without the right gear. Oh boy was I wrong, that footage looks awesome. I'll be sure to use these tricks in my next project :)
Thanks so much, Semmostaja 👍🏽 Glad to help out!
Layman terms are not taught in schools lol
That shoulder rig trick is amazing... and using one tripod to do all these things reduces the amount of accessories one has to bring along.
For sure! A little creativity goes a long way. 😉
Good video, not too long, good examples of each and also point of view of the shots when you were actually taking them! Thank you!
You’re welcome! 👍
Thank you so much bro, i didn't even know about these tripod hacks until today, God bless 👑

Thank you. Very helpful info and well done. I've got sliders and gimbals, but I rarely use them even when I pack them.
I hear ya. I've found it super useful to be able to mimic the same types of moves with minimal gear because I'll often find myself somewhere without the gear I'd want and try to still make it work.
Great tropod techniques....the shoulder rig was just so cool.. really helpful and i am gonna try using all these techniques.. 😍

Well done sir! We have been newly exposed to filming our workouts due to covid and have been slowly accruing the tools of the trade. This video totally blew my mind on how to solve some simple problems we have been trying to get better at. Really like the shoulder rest options. What would you recommend the best way to film live training sessions from a stabilization standpoint? We film 5 hours of training a day haha so also trying to find the best way that won't be to taxing for that length of period of time. Thanks again for the great video!
Depends on how you are wanting to film the workout and what kind of movements are being done. I'd probably go use the shoulder rig for most shots and possible the gimbal version for something that's moving a lot.
These are great tips thanks! A rubber band, so simple!
ckellyedits, definitely! 👍🏽

Nice! Love them. Especially the chair 😂. The only technique that will give you shakey footage is the "steady cam" (ironically )
Takes a bit of work to get it right. But you combine that with in-camera stabilization, and you’ll be good to go! 👍
