Dan, got that camera installed in my daughter’s Accord tonight. That run from the front camera to the back took about 15 minutes doing exactly what you did. Also about 10 feet of loose wire in the C-Pillar. Run from front to back until you reach the C-Pillar. Then run back camera to the C-Pillar. Dump all excess wire under the C-Pillar cover. It’s a safe place because there are no airbags back there.
4:16 That’s actually fuse 41 your pointing at which is good too for anyone reading this. I tapped into 40 which is the driver seat lumbar! Thank you for this video!
It’s a good camera, I’ve been using my N4 since 2020 and ended up switching to an adhesive gps mount because of the suction cup mount coming off windshield periodically plus the dash cam was knocked off windshield when we got into an accident. Adhesive mount has yet to come off. It’s been a reliable camera!
@@vinhluu2154 I posted the link to the mount I use. I’m still using the N4 dash cam today and the mount still hasn’t fallen off in any of my 3 cars. It’s worth the purchase, just make sure you clean your mounting surface before sticking the mount on (I used brake clean)
Sweet. Thanks. Getting ready to install same camera in my daughter’s 2019 Accord. Where is the ground wire? Is it hidden?
Its behind the hood release lever. Just remove that and there's a ground screw there you can use
What fuse you used for the battery?
Does this camera connect to your phone? So you can see the video? Or is it computer only?
I want to know that too. Hope that gets answered.
I don’t see where I can connect the ground cable
It gets connected behind the plastic piece where the hood latch is. Theres a ground there already you can use
Glad you made this video, I’ve had this dash cam for a while now and didn’t know where to hardwire it, definitely going to hardwire it now. Just curious what software do you use to view your clips on your computer? For some reason my windows 10 doesn’t show these MP4 videos.
I used my phone to view them for editing the video. But when I tried my pc windows media player is able to play the files. Just right click the file and clock open with windows media player amd set as your default player
@@DanVilla7how do you view them on your phone?
Im getting this soon, which one is better option 1 or option 2?
Either one is fine just depends on what your more comfortable with. I personally need my obd 2 free for my ktuner
@@DanVilla7 got you, so hows the dash cam right now?
It's great works awesome
Could you share the hardwire kit name or amazone link please..
All of the links are in the description of the video
How long it will record before deleting old footage ?
Roughly around 3 days on the highest resolution on all 3 cameras (256mb card). If you don't choose to use the rear camera you can get more time also depends on where you park the more activity the more files per day.
@@DanVilla7 Thank You
In parking mode does the screen turn off?
You can set it to turn off automatically even when driving. If I remember correctly you can set it for 1,2,3 min or even 30sec. Mines set at 30 seconds. I prefer it to be off. It has a dim blue flashing led to let you know it's recording.
@@DanVilla7 how does it knows when the car in park? Or we have to long hold the button every time to put it in park mode?
@@HamoshAbdul there is a sensor that tracks movement once it stops sensing movement it will automatically go into park mode
@@DanVilla7 sounds good thank you
Terrific video, Dan, very informative. Because a fast, Cl. 3 card is necessary, I was wondering if you might post a link for the specific Samsung card that you use. Is it this one?:
SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS EVO Select 256GB Micro SDXC UHS-I U3 100MB/s Full HD & 4K UHD
Again, many thinks for the great video & review.
Thank you! I placed the links for everything are in the description. But I do believe that's the one I have.
@@DanVilla7 Indeed you did; my bad! lol ... I just tossed it in my Amazon cart.
Thanks again, and be well!
Is there motion sensor in park mode
Yes as soon as it detects motion it starts recording
Have u tried any other car cameras
Do I buy one or 2 for front and back?
It's comes with everything you need. 3 cameras total
Links in the description for everything needed
@@DanVilla7 sorry I’m a dumb ass I was too vague I meant hardwired kits?
@@i2ty909 you only need one but I losted both in the description. You can use the one I used in the video or theres one that plugs into the obd2 port. It's all preference
Awesome video! Is there a way you can turn normal files into event files in the settings for when the camera doesn’t pick up something on the road as a event?
Yes by pressing the button on the left . Would be the only way I know
@@DanVilla7 thanks for the quick reply
Does it show the miles on the screen ?
If you get the gps mount it will
💪🏽🙌🏽🤟🏽
Does it have wifi connection?
It does not
@@DanVilla7 i just wasted 290 on this
It's a great camera, I have another with wifi and it takes too to load the files. I prefer this one. The video and sound quality is great
تكنولوجيا وسيارات حديثة جدا 👍💕💕💕💕
Does it work with cellphone
It does not have wireless connectivity. If you have an android phone like myself you can just put the car directly into your phone and few clips
Not even two days with mine and I realized that the recording jumps on time and skips some parts. like I will drive for 4 miles and it will record for 2 miles and jump right away to 3 miles and the time will jump from 2:05 to 2:25 on the video. what if I have an accident between then ?
Have you had this such issue?
I haven't had that issue mine catches pretty much everything
@@DanVilla7 okay . Thank you for the reply.
If you don't mind me asking, at what resolution did you set yours?
@@honorewilfried4003 i have mine set to the highest on all 3 cameras. I'm also using a 256gb card
I found your video to be useful and informative. I would just recommend that you remove the background music. It's distracting.
Or do I need to turn it off
It's nice the cops will have easy evidence of you going 30mph faster than traffic 😂
The format button is easy too
Haha! Not if you turn the MPH OFF?
@@Ochtane101they can’t take your dash cam unless they have a warrant.
You can shut it off
@@salweirdz2161 cops have taken and destroyed the camera even without a warrant. It's disgusting.
Not afraid someone may break the window to steal the camara?
