My wife HATES this tune because I play it on my studio system at around 120db. Love it or hate it, everyone in the neighborhood knows this song!
I don't know what db I'm at, and I don't have a wife, but I gaurantee my neighbors hate this song on a my JBL monitors. I made the mistake of getting the sub. I had so many noise complaints in the first few weeks it was ridiculous.

You are not alone. I found this song, and UA-cam now just knows to include it EVERY time it offers suggestions for things that I may like. I have listened to it doznes of times. It's the piccacle of the kind of music that I enjoy listening to. Reminds me of "Tiger" by Three Leg Dog, or "7empest" by Tool. Just rambling talented rock 'n roll. On another note, for some reason, my brain keeps trying to match the music of this song to the spoken lyrics from "Bottom" by Tool (which were voiced by Henry Rollins).
100%..the bass and percussion is so bouncy with the guitar adding nice crunch. I love this band and expect a lot of good music. These guys have a bright future.

I love picking up on band cues, the nods to signify to come back around and when to break away, the stare from the lead guitarist before the drum solo, the drummers rebuttal to the lead guitarists "call", the guitarist's answer back with a quick crunchy chord to start lining up syncopation with the bassist and the drummer and then hauling it all back in with a friggin slide he whipped outta nowhere like john popper and a harmonica.
The smile immediately after on the bassists face is almost indescribable, its a great feeling though i'll tell you hwhat. Anyone who has played with a jam band, amateur or not, will have THAT moment, when it all comes together and you're already grinning before you even know what struck ya and you just keep jamming with the groove.
I think one of my favorite things of many about these guys is they've created a mythological sense, in the stories of their songs. As an old man, it feels like driving down an unknown road in the dark. Pre-GPS, hoping that your destination ends well. Thanks for sharing this god tier music with me fellow travelers.

Most of the music that I like are above 10 minutes, if you are in a worry to listen to music it's kinda strange to me, just sit there and enjoy the ride without thinking about the time in a clock.

Some of these drummers out here are just freaks of nature, I don't understand them, but I love them. I'm sure that in his head he knew the EXACT amount of time he had to put those headphones back on.
The guitar and bass tones melted my brain. Absolute perfection! That drummer! The recording engineer should get a round of applause for capturing this as well.

Dude I can't get over the level of synergy in this performance. Everyone was bouncing off each others improv. True musicians in every sense of the word.
Because i think there's no ego between them. They dont just want to sound their best on their own, but as a band. They listen to eachother, instead of just jamming to jam. That part where the gitarist literally drops en fills perfect on the drummer. Soooo good !
My man!! I go to this performance often! Totally blows me away every time! It is truly the epitome of musicians connected by that magical vibration that is unexplainable yet we know it when it happens. These guys are something special!!

Just stumbled apon this amazing band. I came here to say the same thing dude. Fuck man that dude can play... Not to mention the fucking drummer! As soon as I saw the hair, that beautiful Les Paul and those long fingers I knew I was about to hear some magical, mystical shit. They sound like The Doors and Sabbath combined. 🤤❤

Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting at a bar called Jackpot, downstairs off 7th St NW in Chinatown, Washington, DC. I was the first customer and the bartender started the music and the second song played and I said to him, wow, this is great. is this The Fall. And he said no, it's All Them Witches. Then I drank my beer and had a musical experience. Thank you, ATW
This song requires a clear, powerful system with a thirsty bass that pumps air like its the heart of a dragon. Its best played where the notes can spread their wings and fly high. Powered by the heat of the air cooked by a thirsty, ravenous Amp. The music must emanate from a source singular in its ferocity but chaotic in its delivery. If you've neither the time, nor the equipment pass the song by. A gladiator fights in the Coliseum or not at all. This song flows from heated speakers vibrating with electricity or...not at all.
Chill out big boy, it sounds good from a pair of good headphones as well.

The seventies return. Doors meet, Hendrix, meets Nugent. This is a live performance. No engineering tricks, and the balance of sound and the syncopation is just perfect.
These guys are their own beast. So many influences, All Them Witches is a fitting name.
Ive probably listened to this 200 times by now. When people ask questions about ATW, I show them this and jaws are on the floor every time.

@@proximityAlert top wrapping your strings is when you wrap them around the top of the stop tail piece creating a lighter break angle to the bridge. You can tell if a guitar belongs to Zakk Wylde or if it's a prop for a photo shoot depending on whether or not the strings are top wrapped.

Props to the KEXP staff recording this magical experience. The sound engineering is exquisite, and the editing/sequencing/selection of the shots on each instrument/musician is perfect.

These dudes are a force live. Halloween at the Ryman last year was something sacred. The new years eve/birthday shows at exit inn were so comfortably raw. The crowd becomes a singular being.
