She seems such a good soul.
Kexp is literally the only place where I can be exposed to good new rock bands these days!
Thank you so much guys. Your live mixed are amazing also.
KEXP is some special place, I must agree...
Check out stoned meadow of doom on UA-cam it’s got plenty like this
@Nihility Tube Will do.
WTMD 89.7 it's a towson md collage radio station. I've heard so many new bands there plus lots of good older stuff. It's public radio so no commercials
Audiotree also have some real good performances!
One thing I love about this band is how they keep such an organic and natural feel and tone while nailing every single note without being way too technical.
Love ATW, long life!
Still don’t understand how this band isn’t 10x bigger than they are. Love that I can see them at more intimate venues, but these guys deserve all the attention in the world
WOW!!! AWESOME: Beginning Middle And End, Merci.
These boys got the secret sauce!
Survive!!!
Never heard these guys before. They good. Real good.
Never heard of this band but that guitarist is on another level
Already watched this video at least 30 times, no kidding.
I'm coming up right behind you
When a band is better live now that’s a real band, and these are one of those bands.
Aside from the absolute greatness of this band. The production in this is INCREDIBLE!!
I'm surprised no one has mentioned that "Stranglehold" Nugent guitar sound here. Pretty badass.
I tought the classic rock guitar with pasionate solos was extinted , but this guy proved I was wrong!
Not extinted yet
Why am I just now discovering this band?? I try to keep my eye out for new good music and I totally missed this!this. This is the best thing I've heard years.
I have lost my mind and have gained a new universe!
I found it and I ain’t comin back
This guys voice is the real deal
When I listen to them sober, it gets me high.
When I listen to them high, it gives me long lasting powerful eargasm!
Watched this session a while back, thinking "not bad, not great". But something stuck with me so I came back a day later and thought "this is actually pretty good".
By now i bought all the albums and EPs and I must say, these guys are exceptionally great. They got a really nice natural and somewhat laid back flow.
Every once in a blue moon, the algorithm finally decides to turn me on to something magical. It's very rare, and I wish it happened more often. But for now, I'll just be grateful that it happened today with this awesomeness. Thanks
Cam op bringing the heat at 12:00 nailing the whammy to the face tilt up. Nice job following the action.
Diamond is one of the best songs ever made. Seriously a masterpiece.
Great band. If you're deep in this sound and plan on going deep into murky waters, look up SpaceSlug, Stoned Jesus, King Buffalo, Weedpecker, Major Kong, etc. That said, Europe has mastered this genre so start there: Poland, Greece, Ukraine and many more.
Follow Stoned Meadow of Doom on UA-cam as well. #SMODnation
Stoned Jesus slams. also check out Kyuss and maybe Earthless
From Greece, its got be 1000mods.
I'd say the best of this genre I heard so far was The Long Distance Trip from Samsara Blues Experiment. That shit is close to TDSOTM level. And don't miss Colour Haze - ever evolving dinosaurs of stoner who inspired dozens of younger artists.
This dude smokes the weed.
Alright guys, you're all sharing some good stuff here, have my recommendations!
JIRM, Sólstafir, Graveyard, My Sleeping Karma, Truckfighters, Thy Catafalque, Wo Fat, Crippled Black Phoenix.
Love you all.
Wow, this band is underrated, I love his voice and he kinda gives me Jim Morrison vibes.
Yup especially that last song. I hear doors influence in band sound all together too
He does look and dress a bit like him here 😂
A good 3 piece band is all you really need. These guys are awesome 👍Love the tones the guitarist is getting.
So true, some of the best rock bands out there right now off the top of my head are trios. The Black Keys for a long time were only a Duo, and look where they are now.
@@zobrombie3023 to me you just needed a drummer and a good guitarist and that’s it if someone could sing😄 I had the most fun just with the drummer before the other guys showed up.
All them witches is a 4 piece most of the time, with the keys/violin.
@@Whiteshaq_52 I know but I like the 3 piece stuff. I really think they don’t need a keyboardist 🤣
What a great modern combination of Grunge, Zepplin and Sabbath. Really tight playing too. Sounds really loose but it's total precision at the same time. Haven't heard a rock band I liked for ages. Great name too. (Reminds me a bit of Jesus Lizard)
👍👍👍😍😍😍🤗🤗😘😘🎶🎶✌️✌️
getting Kyuss/QOTSA vibes mixed with some Jim morrison. desert rock
I was just about to mention Morrison. Very cool.
Also add in Canadian band The Tea Party. Doors x Tea Party x Kyuss.
I was thinking Doors would lead to this.....awesome....nothing like a jam sound that puts it together...solid.
For sure, saw them at Desertfest in London couple of years back. Totally fit into that whole scene. They were fucking beasts live.
I got some Black Sabbath moments too. Great band!
The first time that I listen this band....They caught me.
Robby's facial gestures are so intense. It's like he wants to destroy those drums.
the color grading on this one is so aesthetically pleasing
I wonder if KEXP tell them beforehand what to wear because the whole set's color scale looks like the Les Paul's colors :d
This is the recording that made me like ATW's new music, when I used to be a stickler for their earlier stuff. What a fucking sound man.
I have found so many different bands that I like from companies like KEXP. These guys are great. Thank you KEXP, please keep doing what you are doing.
audiotree is a great source too
soooo true!
*****STARS! I Like The "Sound" Of The "Gibson Les Paul," merci. Awesome! * The Whole "Band" Is Awesome!
