Still think that squadron 2020 ship at 117 meters lenght and 4300 ton displacement. Anti air missiles, sea to land missiles, torpeedos and mine laying appilities do not quit fit on corvet class though?
very funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the pictures often if not mostly don't match the story. Danish MCM vessels story in 2.05 are shown with a picture of a modern US Landing Ship Dock LSD. Norway's news story in 2.22 shows the Canadian destroyer Algonquin, scrapped in 2015. In 2.30 pictures showing some type of US mothballed fleet with LSD, LST, LHA and some frigates. At 2.36 I doubt that Norway is "enhancing its corvettes" with the shown German Navy Braunschweig class Meko corvette😂. Picture in 2.54: Norway is bolstering... for sure not with a vessel shown and suggested in the picture, an American LHA or aircraft carrier... Please don't confuse your readers with misleading pictures. It's discredits the whole article😥😥😥
Do anyone watching this believe for a second that the Nordic countries would go to war to defend the Baltics when they are attacked by the Russians and the USA has withdrawn from Europe?
@donktheclown well Finland invested them in ear 2022 and 2023. In fact we stocked up just about everything that we did not have in storage when Russia invaded to Ukraine. All that could be send to Ukraine was send and only our own war industry has been beefed up by 580%. And those drones was not the only ones on shoping list. Other small thing that was ordered was more JASSM-ER's AARGM's. David sling and some other little things. F-35 should start to arive in 2026. And those "corvets" are actually 117 meters ships that has 4300 tons replacements. Have sea to sea missile sea to air missile, sea to land missile systems. Boffors auto cannon, sea mineing system's torpeedos. Etc.. so tehcnical we are not speakin of corvets but fregaties on those new ships.

Nah, Norway can't expect much help from our Nordic neighbours in North Atlantic. We good, NATO have 5 carrier strike groups in Atlantic and Mediterranean. The surface warships of Northern Fleet will not violate NATO waters.
@@TheDanishGuy101 there is no Danish military air base on Greenland, there are naval station on Greenland and Faroe Islands, but the 3 Iver Huitfeldt class frigates are anti-air defence with issues (Red Sea). Yearh. The role of the Scandinavian navies isn't really to fight ships though. As you say, the Iver-Huitfeldt is anti-air and anti-submarine, and like most other Scandinavian things, "quality over quantity." I do think we should have more smaller submarines though. Like the Swedish one (I don't remember the name, but in multiple tests, it got close to an American strike group). They could be useful in a war, but of course, what the Royal Danish Navy is doing now, they won't be in much use. But yeah, in 10 years, the Nordics will all be armed to the teeth. Especially aviation and mechanized infantry.
@@TheDanishGuy101 Germany plan to operate their P-8A Poseidon marine patrol fleet off UK air base. Denmark could do the same off Norwegian air base. Danish navy dropped submarine fleet 20 years ago, and you dropped land based air defence, something like 30 years ago. The first we all need to do is to fix our air defence. Next we all need modern mechanised brigade fully equipped with modern tanks, artillery, proper drone defence. Danish air force is too small with 27 F-35, you will order 3-10 more fighters. :) Sweden and Norway have around 10 attack submarines, so Danish navy could operate 2-3 attack submarines fine. I wish Denmark bring back their submarine fleet, but it looks like Danish military want ASW frigates instead. The problem for frigates is that they much easier target for anti-ship missiles than a modern submarine. The attack submarine Norwegian navy gets is for Atlantic's, while Swedes gets subs for Baltic Sea.
Why are you showing B-17s in a video about 21st-century Nordic navies?

Sweden, adding a battleship? Unless it has some kind of gee-whiz offensive capabilities, what is the point?
Its 4 corvettes, Lulea class not a battleship silly ai videos
well ive done my time in the swedish navy 8-)

I heard Norway has barcodes on their ships so they can Scan da navy in.

If they don't heavily invest in all forms of drones for warfare, they will regret it. IMO.
Who say we do not ?

The best navy per capita?? HAHAHA That's the most worthless measurement of a Navy I've ever heard of.
