Wow great choices Craig ! I had forgotten about some of these gems 💎. I could not agree more about Friday I’m in love … I never liked it … and most people only know this one 😩…Like you I can still listen to Just like heaven on repeat (and I do) … that song made me want to learn English so that I could understand the lyrics and sing along❤. Thank you for doing this … hopefully you could also share your playlist 🤩….and I would love to know your Depeche Mode favourite songs 😉
OK now you are spoiling us. I just got through your 80's videos and the honorable mention and you throw this at me! Great stuff. I LOVE the fact that you choose lots of the deeper cuts. I kept thinking "Harold and Joe" before you got to it. And there it was! Nice. They don't really have any BAD songs. Some of my favorites that weren't on your list: Lullaby, In Between Days, Like Cockatoos, A Night Like This, Love Cats (I know), Let's Go to Bed, A Few Hours After This (Love that you chose Exploding Boy!), The 13th, The Same Deep Water As You, Plainsong, Piggy in the Mirror, A Strange Day, A Forest, Wrong Number, More Than This. HELL...There are SO many! I could probably name 50 more. One of the best bands with one of the best bodies of songwriting work ever. Thank you Robert Smith. SO looking forward to Songs from a Lost World! Bring on Nov 1!! By the way...How are you doing this in the middle of a move? You so crazy!! Good luck! ;-)
@@electricavenuemusic9282 the move is happening this weekend. All the records are packed (36 boxes) I still have alot to do and today is my last day at my current job. Moving can be so stressful! They have so many great songs it’s very difficult to come up with lists. I should probably stop doing them!
It’s cool that you have put this together just before they release Alive and the rest of the new album. I don’t think the new song will replace anything on this list, but it’s still exciting for new Cure music. I don’t know if I could replace any of them on your list. I love to sing along to Pictures of You and Why Can’t I Be You, and Wrong Number gets me going. And I always forget More Than This from the X-Files soundtrack. Of course I love all of their older music as well, but I also had a bad day at work and I don’t want to think about it too much. 😊
Fun to see Shake dog shake mentioned, i love the song and also the album although many don't rank it high. All these songs are really fine songs, i would have chosen differently of course or rather not chosen at all, because i just can't do ranking. The first album i heard from The Cure was Faith and then Seventeen Seconds and then Three imaginary boys, so many songs, if i would make a list, would be from these albums.
@@annatraustadottir4387 all great albums! It’s really hard to do a ranking when they have so many great songs. These just happen to mean the most to me. Thank you for watching!
Nice video Craig - wow, a top 25 is a difficult task. I've just listened to Halo again [for the first time in ages] - yes, its a real corker! Many thanks, David
@@CraigsVinylPlethora Oh come on, the first new record for 16 years!? You have to be excited about that. I've preordered two versions. I am sooo ready for some new material. Cheers D x
Love the failed into!!👏🏻🤣😝🤗😘
Also, great video! So many great songs that are hard to rank! lol
"All Cats Are Grey" is my all time fave. Beautiful from start to end.
@@oliverkruse8144 that is a great song!
YES YES! 3:15 on a Saturday night
Sinking will always be the best EVER.

Preorder it. I’m not that impressed with the new single. But I will get the album regardless.
