Hey, thanks for the great content! You did get some rules wrong thought: - A normal contemptor does not have Move Through Cover- > -2 on movement and charges, while in Difficult terrain - A pinned unit can never declare reactions
Actually it goes away "at the end of its following turn". So if you're pinned in your turn, you are unpinned at the end of your next turn. If you are pinned in your opponents turn, you are pinned at the end of your next turn.
Ye mate 100% agreed, its a fun concept (I imagine it like the last stand placing a beacon for the drop troops) but sadly just doesnt quite come together IMO

Ive been asking about and Matt from the mordheim vids and Pete who plays whitescars both have TS armies with er finished or in progress so as soon as i can pin them down (or anyone that wants to come on with them) theyll be on!
I've read the rules again after someone asked. And what you did, killing the models engaged in combat until there were none left and then discarding the rest of the rules in covered in the rules. My bad. Earlier in the page it mentioned that you can allocate wounds to any model in the unit that is engaged. The wording isn't clear whether it's any model in the engaged unit or any engaged model.
ye mate, its actually a great trick for avoiding wounds being allocated to something like a thunderhammer preator (who will consolidate in at I1) its what Chris has been pulling with Ferrus and why a breacher blob of just cheap mooks to get into combat is such a good pairing
I dont think thats correct based on seize rules Seize the Initiative: If the player who is due to go second wishes to Seize the Initiative, that player can roll a D6 before beginning the first game turn. On a roll of 6, they successfully Seize the Initiative and go first instead.
the yellowy long grass? its made from coir door matts (its like a coconut fibre product) that Ive stuck to MDF boards to then put dirt etc around them! (just for a search term not where i got them from try "Flooring Direct Coir Matting" to see what Im referring to, I got mine from the local hardware store)
Moritat wont kill himself with a gets hot. Nothing of the weapons stats apply apart from its ap on a gets hot ;) The inferno pistols dont give a gets hot either. The roll of 1 just means they stop the chainfire. Keep on melting tanks mr moritat!!!
I think we both know what I'm going to say to this: HH is king! did watch a game between Phil and Matt (whose been on playing Mordheim) and it seemed to have promise if kept reasonable, but they didnt do anything super crazy does seem a bit bamboozling vs a simple statline change being a difference between units TLDR: HH is best but in terms of 40k I just dont know anymore!

You did get some rules wrong thought:
