I've personally found a good way of giving Militia a bit of an extra leg up is letting them pick a 3rd Provenance of War. My playgroup has started letting me do this with my beastmen Militia and it's really made an impact into how the games are played and how effective the armies can be
Militia is so cool looking. I love seeing everyones idea for them and hopefully can think of something cool to do myself in the future for some dogged scrappers.
Really great game lads and great to see this militia army again too. Cool that Dreads were left out of the game too to keep things more even. Great work with the channel fellas. Look forward to the next game or painting vid.👍🏻
Cheers mate. We wanted it to be entertaining and from our experience militia don't have much to answer dreadnoughts so was an easy decision to leave them in the cabinet. We got some cool batreps coming up 🙂
I played milita for a while now. In this new addition, I noticed a lot of tanks with vanquishers, and demolishers are the way to go! Also alchem jackers and industrial stronghold is the way to go. I love shotguns on my Milita to pin. Also the Medusa artillery seems ok. It seems like you need to drown the opponent with body's and heavy firepower!
Excellent batrep lads and was very excited to see a non-Astartes army playing (I’m new to HH so have mainly been watching space marines). Such a close game and both armies were beautifully painted. Just subbed and looking forward to the next report!
13:41 and a few other points - sentinels have a ruin partially in the way and skirmisher, don't they have like a 4+ cover save that's being entirely ignored? (Curious if there's something preventing it that I'm missing...)
Glad to see the militia on the table, I have an army but they tend to get steamrollered in my area with multiple dreads in most lists. Glad to not see those in this game! Blood Angels looked beautiful!

I think people will interpret it how they wish but the devil is in the detail for me. Seize is worded to determine who takes the first turn, Scout says ‘before the first player begins the first turn… ‘ etc. so I think it sets an order of precedence. A one liner in an FAQ would make it clear though.
@RiftForgeStudio people who say before the seize argue its a redeploy so happens in the deployment stage. I don't see where it says redeployment has to be in the deployment stage though. I like it being after the seize.

Small rules point: Melta bombs do not auto hit, Krak grenades do but Melta bombs require a to hit roll.

Recording and uploading in 4K or at least 1080 at 60 frames per second I find gives you the best and smoothest footage

I think I would have gone after the grenadier squad with the predator at the end if it was that close on last man standing and avoided snap shooting.

Yeah it doesn’t state that. It just says before the first turn. So after the seize makes sense.
