just a suggestions, when drilling/tapping things in your engine bay. a big canister vacuum is your friend. have a helper hold it beside your drill/tap site or just tape it in place. should eliminate most of the chips falling all over the engine, and will help drag chips out of the hole. magnet is still a must step.
May I suggest using a minimum of copper antisieze, or preferably Nickel antisieze instead of that aluminum garbage when putting the EGT sensor bung in.
My boost line broke off at the fitting. I tried pulling the fitting off and pushing the line back through as shown here, but the line is too large to fit through the ferrule fitting. The female brass fitting is tight on the line. I tried to sandpaper the line diameter a bit smaller but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated
they are called "t-taps". can be found most places that have butt connectors. glowshifts price is reasonable, so if your ordering stuff from them anyways.
i installed the boost 0-40psi guage exactly how the video says, even the positioning of the feral fittings, but unless im over 14psi, the boost guage is ALWAYS reading 1 or +14. theres no in between. Help?
Choose one of the 2 boost line installation options in the first 5 minutes of the video. The t-fitting can be purchased separately to make installation easier. Skip the remaining sensor install portions and go right to the wiring but instead of wiring for 4 gauges, only wire 1.
buy a scangauge and plug it into your OBDII port, no drilling required or tools required. it will give you boost among many other values right from the truck's pcm

Anyone else thinking at 7:22 that a whole bunch of chips are about to go through the turbo?
Good detailed video, I’m installing a single gauge pyrometer tomorrow in my 2004 6.0 glad I watched this!

10mm is the only size I never can find
If I run 2 gauges into the same fuse tap what amp fuse is recommended?
We recommend a 10amp fuse.

You need a new ferrule, they're one time use
Have boost gauge hpop and trans temp, none of the light up or work. Everything is wired just like was said to do.
Give our tech support a call or you can use the live chat feature on our website. They will be able to walk you through diagnosing the issue.
where could i get one of those wire taps for the headlight wire
www.glowshiftdirect.com/6pc-quick-splice-wire-tap-connectors/
GlowShift thank you. i’m assuming the wire is 18 gauge? if you know
That is correct.

What will removing the fuses do?
You're removing the fuses to put them into the expandable circuits. Then placing them back into the fuse box.
GlowShift ok thanks
Will the trans temp sensor work on a zf6 transmission
As long as the port will take a 1/8 NPT thread sensor. Otherwise, you will need an adaptor.

Double check that the boost line is not pinched or kinked. If you are still having issues, please contact our customer support directly.
@@GlowShift do you sell just the ferrel sleeves or do i need to buy the whole kit for two pieces?

What are the steps to install a 2004 Ford 6.0L boost gauge only? I didn’t understand the video.

@@natewilson7664 only up to 30psi. Electronic gauge won't read any higher than that.
Which wire lights the gauge because my turbo gauge still reads the psi but the lights don’t work
There is not a specific wire just for the lights. Please contact our customer support so we can help resolve your issue.
Buy a CTS2. Done.
