the Psycho Zaku turning into the Thunderbolt Perfect Gundam is probably a rare case that a Zaku became a Gundam, the Zaku believed so hard that it turns into a Gundam by sheer will, lol.
I have a fascination with Gundams using Zeon tech, and while it's been out for a couple years, I just learned more about Rust Horizon (from the Simply Newtype channel today, coincidentally) and apparently there's another Zeon Gundam in that manga, looks like an all black Gundam ground type... pretty cool I'd love to get a MG Zeon Gundam kit one day
U.C. mechanic: What do they mean it's heavy? It's literally called HEAVY Gundam! We're finally solving some issues-- What do you mean the project's been canceled?! Thunderbolt mechanic: You need a Gundam to infiltrate the enemy base? I could repair the FA Gundam with Zeon parts, but it's more realistic to glue everything on your Zaku II. Trust me, bro.
The Pale Rider project when it saw the multi weapon of the heavy gundam: "Yeah, we're going to need that for at least three standard units and a experimental unit with ZEUS installed."
Meanwhile me in Gundam Battleoperation 2 : Wait, there is a support type gundam with my beloved palerider cavalry multiweapon launcher arm? I definitely need that one.... And so the Heavy Gundam became one of my most played machines.
One thing to note about the Perfect Gundam TB is that the full armor Gundam's head and left arm is destroyed. So for it to be done, they probably had to use Gundam ground type S head and scratch building/retrofitting parts.
Imagine if AEUG got Perfect Gundam and used it against the Titans. Or even give it to Karaba so Amuro Ray who's a member of it can pilot the Perfect Gundam.
UC timeline: Alright now. We've got this FA Gundam with all these amazing weapons. Let's call it the Perfect Gundam and call it a day. Thunderbolt: Hmm. All this armor and weapons doesn't seem necessary. Let's just glue all these Gundam armor parts to a high mobility Zaku, paint it in the Rx-78-2 Gundam colors, and call it a day. That's our Perfect Gundam.
It's funny how Tomino's goal with the mobile suits of Gundam was to make untoy like "real" robots, which Bandai proceeded to spend making more toy like for the next 40 years.
I can't get enough msv lore. This stuff is so cool. I love the way you present this stuff from an in-universe but still makes it clear where each bit of lore comes from and when there's bits that contradict each other. Really clever writing on your part.
I would love to pull a Kimaris Vidar on the TB Perfect Gundam because a Zaku wearing Gundam Armory as if it was a skin seems like the best Hunter Impression a Mecha could give.
Despite the Full Armors flaws, I still love it. And I genuinely hope we get a High Grade Perfect Gundam one day, or it gets added to GBO2 alongside its Thunderbolt counterpart
Does this game of yours really exist? You keep talking about it yet haven't shown anything like screenshots or ingame footage. I'm going to assume that it is just fanfiction and that you are just making things up as you go along. For a franchise as big as Gundam, there is no way that a game in development can be kept secret for as long as you have talked about it. If it does exist, then show some screenshots or ingame footage or something. Also, who is the developer? Who is the publisher? Will there be voice actings? How long was it in development? When did development start?
@@arx3516 In-universe this is why MS were so OP. Battleships had superior firepower but couldn't hit a Zaku. The Gundam was made with equal power and better mobility, problem solved.
Sweet, wondered why you didn’t mention the heavy in the FA video, and was answered with an almost thirty minute long video with the heavy Gundam (+ perfect)
Hey Kakarot, if you make a third video about these, would you include the Gundams from Solomon Express? They armed both the RX-78-2 and the RX-78-3 with anti fortress equipment, meaning they’re armed with nuclear warheads
Qubeley MK2 wears the red and yellow color scheme better than the Ingrid 0 Custom does. Also, the Ingrid 0 Custom to some extent reminds me of Astraea F2 in regards to new parts.
huh further confirming shuttled legitimacy and existence then because you are right maybe they found the old design and said hmmm this might work on our GARGANTUAN monstrosity of a gundam
Honestly, it sounds like the T1 Shuttle Gundam was a bit of an expensive boondoggle , like we're talking a transformable suit, years before even the Methuss, and one designed to leave the atmosphere under it's own power. Like, they probably spent so much money, built the thing, got chewed out by the upper brass and then were astounded when the thing actually worked as intended.
A fun thing to note, you can see the parallel development of RX-78-2 and CE's Duel Gundam pretty nicely in the Full Armor variations: the Assault Shroud is obvious analog to the FA-78-1 (extra armor on base units), and Blue Duel is Heavy Gundam (newly built units with thicker armor from start). It's even more interesting if one pick the development line of Plamo Kyoshiro (which is similar to UC, but start with Perfect Gundam and end with the Red Warrior) and notice the similar concept between Regen Duel and the Red Warrior (another newly built units that use extra armor to strengthen the frame for higher performance). It's almost make me sad that Duel Blitz break the trend.
Like you, I also think the PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam existed at most in simulation form. While that was also the case for Delta Gundam, it was lucky enough to have an actual successor without the transforming capabilities. That said, I do think it actually looks better in the Low Visibility Colors than in the parade colors. One of the cases of the white and/or gray color scheme working out well for a Gundam.
I swear to god when Thunderbolt part 3 releases they better make the Perfect Gundam because that shit looks fire (in fact everything in Thunderbolt looks fire)
That's awfully funny; Perfect Gundam had the same solution to beam weapon endurance that late-OYW Rick Doms with beam bazookas did: just put a second Minovsky generator in there; it'll run the guns just fine.

Imagine if Amuro had gotten any of the other Gundam variants. Even discounting the Alex since we did that already, he would have cooked the Zeong with the others.
Considering these wehre actually built unlike the full armor models (thunderbolt. Not included) i like the heavy gundam far more, plus short of the customs goufs Vulcan shield, this has by far the coolest UC giant Gatling gun ever😊
Honestly, if the Heavy Gundam saw service in the OYW, Zeon would've stood even less of a chance. The thing has legitimate heavy firepower and great armor, so nothing short of a Gelgoog would've been able to handle fighting it.
It's funny how much flack Zeon gets for using experimental mobile suits yet the Federation seemed to be doing the same thing only most of these didn't get very far into development unlike the tons of Zeon one off mobile suits.
Is it from 00 series? the one where most gundam units got that unique turbine reactor on their back called "GN Reactor"? If yes, you might actually mean to say "Gundam Virtue" which hiding "Gundam Nadleeh" underneath of its outer armor & got upgraded into "Seravee Gundam" which also in moving in tandem with "Seraphim Gundam" later on.

9:40. Question: on which Side is/was the Argata Colony? Also, very weird to hear they got the internet in UC at this time. That's expected given Japan stance on 'canon'.
