Had a summer cold, so I sound a bit off in the video.
ur not alone...i am suffering too with a cold......its hell when u get the coughing fits... 😞
I wonder if winter hots are a thing
@@Chinx313 That's when you get a new waifu in winter
Game called "Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operations" was 5vs5 player matches free to play, free to download.
@@kakarot197 Question: when a beam rifle fire, does fired a continus beam or just a very long beam?
I still have some well earned respect for that one Anksha pilot in Narrative that after losing over 50% of his suit decided to pull out a beam saber and go to Valhalla in a blaze of glory.
We witnessed him.
Feddie pilots in 0096 were so metal. The Stark Jegan pilot, the REZel that decided to duel the Kshatriya, the Jegan that decided to fight the Banshee Norn in close range, and all the Loto pilots, some brave enough to fight the Kshatriya and Sinanju in some tiny death suit.

Now where's my cocaine and defense funding!?
@@bthsr7113 already spent on the pool boys and cake stuffers sadly
@@reform-revolution Cake.... stuffers? Okay, I need clarification.
@@bthsr7113 there was a joke decades ago that CEOs had cake stuffers on employee to shove fancy cakes up their a**
such was their decadence and bloated salaries
Okay, if you answered, I can't see it.
One fan made custom I've seen of the Asshimar was where it transformed into a Japanese style meat bun, and the top flips open to reveal funnels. There was Aila Jyrkiäinen in the corner of the art.
Yeah, they litterally just added that flap on top, shaped like a teepee and it went from bagel to bun.
Everyone's favorite flying bagel.
The Burger King of Mobile Suits
@@afelias After watching War in the Pocket, any mention of burgers in Gundam gives me slight anxiety.
Bernie hamburger.
Discus of doom.
Totally Federation's craft, they using monoeye widespread.
The increased number in flying saucer reports, is so cute, and sounds like something that would happen in real life.
ngl I always thought the weirder Titans prototypes were all "Scirocco did some crazy drugs on Jupiter and gave these designs to the Newtype labs" because of some old unconfirmed information from third party magazines way back in the early 2000s.
Glad to know that there's technically more reasonable explanations for these things.
I just wanna know what the fuck he was on, and if that could help me get through the work day.
Paptimus Sirocco was a near perfect newtype human but then again that human part of him or his ego would contribute to his downfall, and who wouldn't? My man managed to scour funding, rise to the ranks, and even have his own mobile suit factory where he can test designs, give them to pilots of his choosing, and his charisma alone got him in the good sides of the Titans, he did all that so he could take over the world and he thought of it so far ahead that in case he died he created newtype clones of which his spirit can possess in order to achieve that goal no matter what, if he had only set aside his ego and his hatred against Kamille he could have achieve those in such a short time and he wouldn't need to act out his back up plan which is what happens in gundam walpurgis which happened between the end of zeta and near the start of double zeta and since double zeta happened that would mean he still failed in his goal to take over mankind and erase war, Paptimus managed to turn Kamille into an insane person through his spirit haunting him and even scared Haman with the only other person able to scare her being Judau, that alone says a lot about how great of a newtype Paptimus was and still that greatness of his only made him more arrogant that his idea of taking over man kind and erasing war is to remove every other emotion through some kind of newtype technology he had hidden in Jupitris
Although it is TECHNICALLY considered mildly non-canon, in the "MSV: Johnny Rhidden's return" manga, there is at least one known Airborne squadron on Earth that still uses the Asshimar.
It's a relatively small force, but it IS in use.
I thought Asshimar was a burger. 😋
Also, Major Buran in Zeta said "spacenoids belong in space", funny as his MS was looking very much like an UFO, as you mentioned.
No, the Zaku II FZ from 0080 is the burger!
Bro, it looked like a burger to me as well. Also, gotta love the irony about the quote in opposition to his MS.
The best transforming mobile suit in 1/144 scale
The Gaplant comes close but it feels a bit loose and has the potential to split in half mid-transformation
I can't stand the transformation for the HG Gaplant. Gave up on it honestly. Not a great kit. Might eventually grab the Hrairoo version though.
@@xnflg3074 It's mainly the polycaps that become an issue
Imagine bandai making a RG of this.
They should give transformable suits a 2nd chance for RG.
Given how much it had advanced, agree. They could debut transformable RG frames with a second shot of the Z Gundam, giving it the gimmick while being very stable
we already have a decent fully trnasformed hg so it is more than possible. I would like to see and rg bawoo also.
Maybe with recent RG format: less usage of advance joint and build the frame from the start they'll consider. RG Impulse can be example of that, it's not transformable MS in sense but still have some folding gimmick like transformable MS mostly do.
Huge AOZ fan and really big fan of the Woundwort. Was able to get my own Asshimar kit after so long. Not it sits next to my Keehar II and Woundworts
I love how these development history videos make suits that I had little interest in super interesting.
I am also hungry for doughnuts now.
I’ve actually been looking at an Asshimar kit and BAM! You make a video of its development history! Sweet!!
😮 lucky bastard. 😂
Honestly if a machine was that reliable I'd have made a agile, ground variant while trying to discard the flight aspect. Could've made for cheap, and easily armored machines that had back ups to its main sensor.
That would be an incredible waste of the frame mechanism(something that likely is expensive to produce relatively speaking). Also it would be quite large. You'd be better off stripping the sensor pattern and putting it on a dedicated ground type MS. Besides being able to fly trumps ground type use for most situations, if the Asshimar needed to be grounded it would simply not transform into the donut
@@beefbigshot8789 Yeah, at that point, just make a next gen gun tank.
Wow, that Re-Zeon color scheme on the kehaar and the woundwort look sick, hopefully, we get more kits from the aoz reboot, not just the barzam.
Asshimr is an example of Zeta Gundam getting carried away with transformable mobile suits. Not one of my favorite transformable designs, but it's certainly memorable for reasons the designers intended.
Safe to say my favorite variant is Kehaar 2. For a gundam, it's surprisingly cool for looking almost nothing like a gundam. It doesn't have the both famous and also somewhat controversial parade color scheme; instead primarily white and blue like Ni-Nu and like that design, it works quite well here. I also think the mix of the unique head, the cockpit, and the crotch piece work well together. I also prefer its vehicle mode over that of the Asshimar; especially for those twin fins.
I also like the Anksha better than Ashimar. It actually looks like one mean hooded figure; unlike the more strange looking Asshimar.
Kehaar II is no normal flying donut, it’s an experimental AoZ, Kenki-pilled flying donut. And that’s why it’s my fav
This is one of those MSs that I would love to see in Master Grade but I won't hold my breath. I love the flying donut!
I love after the OYW Fed MS started resembling Zeon suits. Like the Zeon scientists they snatched up after the war were like fine we'll work for you. But in return everything gets the mono eye.
As a huge fan of the Barzam, that Musica is a trip to see, UC Engage is a wild game it would seem.
Hoping a Barzam Development History vid might happen sometime in the future, no matter how long or properly short it'd be!
Keep up the great work man!
It would be pretty long, the Barzam has alot of development behind it with the Hazel Gundams and the Gundam MkII converging to create it, then from there you have a couple different variants of the Barzam itself, as well as several successor units and also the fact it spiritually is related to the Jegan even. The Barzam is actually an incredibly important machine in UC
0:19 i have NEVER seen this bad boy until today, i really dig its design
0:41 HA! Nice jab at the Macross/Harmony Gold legal stuff there. 🤣
In my school vr game this mobile suit was used in galahorn space unit and it was deployed to find goalius on earth and it attracts the attention of the alien crypto 137 from the destroy all humans games and in the mission called rejuvenation a cutseen of a ashemar showed up with the barbatos lupas rex on it to take out the corrupted goalius
ive always had a love/hate feeling towards this suit. soo odd....so strange....so genuinely unique!
It always shows the Meyrin doll whenever the Buyee sponsor segment plays. I am pretty sure she is Kakarot's waifu.
Always love these development history videos hope you feel better soon
I wonder if we'll get more insight into the development of Post Disaster Era MS and MA's. It's my current favorite timeline and I'd love to learn more about its history.
I love these development history videos great job!!
Okay guys, imagine this.
Destroy All Humans game, you enter a hanger and find an Asshimar cameo.
Another killer video thanks!
These videos you make are so well done I always make time in my day when you drop a video. I'm always learning something new when I watch. Love the videos, keep killing it!
0:43 bruh what a cool Easter Egg here, GT Four side by side with VF-S Valkyrie
Finally a video about my most favorite MS of all time
Thanks Kakarot
Ironic how I am not a fan of the OG Barzam; yet the Advance of Zeta reboot version, refined Barzam, and even Musica have managed to win me over.
You should make a hazel buying guide.
Which hazel's have gunpla? What grade? Which kits are additions, and which are just the MS? What does each hazel gunpla look like without gear on it(base MS)? Suggested price range to look for on buyee? And a brief summary of the reviews for each hazel you have done.
Would be helpful and also cool.
A lot of what you said are in his older "Hazel Madness" videos. Also, do you have direct access to a P-Bandai website. If you do than that would be more reliable to get AoZ kits as they tend to get reprints semi-regularly.
@@reijigamer oh I know those exist and have a Playlist. I'm suggesting and updated guide for all in one video
@@drvinylscratch1936 with the nature of Bandai producing new AoZ kits in the future, I believe what you mention for one video would become obsolete too quickly. I would think more Hazel Madness videos for previous unreviewed kits and videos for future releases would be more helpful. Also, as I mentioned AoZ kits aren't really "rare" because of reprinting so I wouldn't pay more than what is the P-Bandai price.
I love them all, the Zeta suits are awesome so 80s, but really I love all MS
"Can I copy your homework?" As a long time Macross fan (as well as Gundam), that made me laugh.
One thing I always loved about Macross is that the fighter designs look practical. People have even made flying RC models of the VF-1. Gundam designs on the other hand don't make sense. Aerodynamically, they are horrible, they would give little advantage in an atmosphere (some few I think might actually be worse in fighter mode!). In space there is no atmosphere to worry about, so a fighter mode would be no help.
While yes, visually some of Gundams transforming mechs are cool, on the practical side I can not imagine why anyone would have made them.
Please do history of the Gaplant next it's my favorite and messala if possible
Asshimar time
Another great video
Kakarot: uploads new video
me: Drops everything im doing to listen to new lore video.....god I love these types of vids
I have a newfound appreciation for the Asshimar, love the Anksha and Kehaar II but I just have to appreciate their roots too.
Funnily enough I just built my HG Asshimar, still a solid kit for something so old!
The development history of our doughnut boy.
Eyy a vid of arguably my favorite non zaku MS
Been into the hobby for almost 20 years and I still don't fully understand what the moveable inner frame is
Seems like a good Lore/Development video topic!
Yes, about time my fav donut being featured. Thank you!
Great video. 🤟
Imagine your a Comms operator, then you receive a SoS starting that they are fighting UFOs
Finally new development history please do more
Now I know why transforming MS makes sense; and it's not only because they look cool. Thanks for the explanation.
These are the videos I come for.
I never knew Watching the development history of a flying donut could be so entertaining
Finally a lore video again
I love your videos
I love these MS development history videos, curious if there's enough info on the graze and it's variants from IBO to make a development history on? Take care and stay safe my dude.
I got the kit and it's awesome. Can't wait to put it together.
I put it together and got another!
Gundam evolution🔥 good video man
Ah, the flying pumpkin thing.
Easily one of the best things Titans had made.
I miss these types of videos
not to be confused with the Spazers from Go Nagai's UFO Robot Grendizer, lol.
i don't know about you but the proportions of this mech and how fast and durable it is. I love it.
Ohhhh The Kehaar II...My love.
Honestly, ReZeon/Re-Zeon has such a bizarre spin to it, I'm endlessly curious about it, especially since they're not just indiscriminate in what they use (they even have GMs, after all), but just their more lax nature compared to the other Zeon successor groups (especially it's apparent compatriot on Mars in Mars Zeon/Oldsmobile Zeon)
Unironically one of my favorite mono-eyes. Can't explain why, I just like the shape
Of course there's a rare over powered, over the top version. Love it!
god I just wish bandai would make a kehaar kit already cause I love the design
I have been watching so many of these and thinking"bring that to gundam evolution! "
Bought the HG Anksha a few months ago, still a good kit even for today's standard
Awesome a new development video! I wonder what Kararot will say:
Kararot:We are going to talk about this flying donut.
........LOL!!!!!!! Damn now I am very hungry lol. Soild video though.
look like we can dive in and Introducing the TR-6 series rabbit hole(T▽T)?
0:41 when i first saw the Zeta Gundam, that was honestly what went though my head
been using it in battle operation 2 and good lord the thing is a monster in combat, i can regularly go toe to toe with some of the crazier gundams and other MS at higher point levels and still kick absolute ass with the thing, even though it only comes with 3 weapons: beam rifle, FIST and a set of small hand grenades. the thing has a big health pool and floats around like a dom unit. lovve the thing to death lol.
In Gundam Evolution, picked up Asshimar because it transformed and I'm more of a transformers guy
Now I'm here because I've been captivated by Gundam as a whole and wanna learn more 😌
Similar reason for me. I started Gundam Battle Operations 2, fell in love with a few MS including the Asshimar, and am now deep diving into the franchise.
We're gonna need a development history of the woundwort. Such a unique design and implementation.
Less go titans
I see that Office Lady Haman. Excellent taste.
Like with the Byarlant, I don't see the lack of firepower as anything more than an understandable tradeoff for ongoing development of greater aerial mobility. And it's mass production compatible no less. And that's before the exciting variants.
"had begun to regress," No, Gundam, you have your own things. You don't need lostech that bad. Especially not when you already did lostech in some timelines.
Speaking of settings with lostech, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the IRL inspiration for Tau drones.
Cool design I love it, I really do.
any interest in doing a Nemo development history? Love the mass produced Zeta suits
The Anksha is my favorite take, but the Musica also sounds lovely. And looks good IMO.
It's Donut Time
Can you make a development history video on the Hizack? It's a really underrated machine
0:10 Transform and Roll Out!
Could we get a development history for the GP series of gundams and their derivatives designs? Stardust Memory is probably my favorite UC Gundam.
Yay! My favorite donut boi!
When I saw the asshimar, I feel that it is a must get gunpla. Never regretted my long search for it.
i loved the anksha alot purely because of its redesign that looks like a rezel
My personal favourite Titans mobile suit 🧡
I like how in the age of telepathic robots, UFO sightings are still a thing
I need the Asshimac, it looks so adorable!!!!
"And why it's the Kehear II" - I feel both seen and called out at the same time.
My favourite MS, the Donut Lord!
HGUC TR-3 Kehaar when?
This is my favorite unit in Gundam Evolution.
The laser donut
0:43 Top KEK!
Flying Donut? 🤔 I always called it the Flying Hamburger of Death. All well, my mistake. Though to be honest, I also made a joke about its name, "Ass-himar"
I want all of these variants in plastic so bad. Especially the Asshimac
I once heard someone pronounce it 'Ass-hammer', and that stuck, for better or worse.
