It’s written correctly in the specs. I’ve seen a lot of conflicting information on the weapons, and I went with the information that sounded the most legit, was the most recent and that I could at least somewhat confirm. Also, sources on the Hyaku Shiki Kai Mass Production Type don’t seem to list the 2 head mounted Pulse Laser Guns as parts of its weapons, but most depictions (including the model kit) do seem to have 2 protrusions in the head where they would be (Identical to their placement on the Hyaku Shiki Kai). This is why I decided to have them as part of its weaponry, but added Unconfirmed. It’s not out of the question that they were removed to save costs for mass production. The Epsy Gundam’s fixed weapon is listed as ペンシルロック (penshirurokku). I tried googling to see if I could find anything other than the (in my opinion) quite weird sounding/looking “Pencil Rock”. We also see in 0080 the Cold Districts Type develop into the GM Command and GM Sniper II. Were the 0080 and 0083 GM families developed separately, or did the GM Command develop into the GM Kai or GM Custom? Lastly, all throughout the original Gundam we see GMs use beam spray guns and a trend toward beam weapons with the Gelgoog late in the One Year War. So why in 0083 do we see many machines return to using machine guns, like the GM Kai and the Gelgoog Marine, then return to using beam weapons with the GM II in Zeta Gundam? Thanks!
For your first question they where developed separately. the GM Type C as it's officially called was a complete redesign using the Gm early type as it's base. The purpose of the Type C was to maximize ease of production, relaiblilty, modification, and production. As for your second it's a mix of reasons. Beam weapons while powerful where slightly impractical due to limited ammunition from the energy capcatior used, once it ran out the weapons became deadweight and left the mobile suit without an effective midrange weapon. This changed with the GP01 and it removable energy capacitor which allowed into reload and was mostl likely the reason that beam rifles went into mass production. The other reason is for fighting inside colonies, beam weapons are more likely to put holes int a colony compared to conventional weapons like the MMP-80 which is likely the reason that the Gelgoog Marine used those as standard weapons over the beam rifle or submachinegun.
@@ramiuschun9288 Now that I think about it, the Federation may have moved away from the beam spray gun as the military shifted from wartime to counter-insurgency, where a machine gun would be more versatile. With all the variants of the GM, it's not surprising that the Cold Districts D-Type from 0080 and the C-Type from 0083 would be separate families. I guess then the only question would be how the GM Command compared to the GM Type C. I would imagine the GM Type C was at least cheaper and more versatile to be chosen for mass production over the GM Command. Also, I hadn't noticed how much the GM Early from 08th MS Team looked like a C-Type! Thanks for all the great info!

At least the the Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai got adopted by Super Robot Wars 30.
I would kill for either a top 5 or even a development video of Full Armor Gundams
Hey look the Full Armor Mk 2 and the Full Armor Kai made it into Super Robot Wars 30 so i can't complain too much.
god i love these vids just havem playing while playing gbo2
Hi Kakarot197! Mind doing a Developement History of the Dom?
Can you make a Development History Video about the Jegan?
damn, you powerslid so well into that Add lol.
Gm development history please!
My favourite MS has its own Kakarot development history special! 🎉🥳
0:45 no wonder so many people hate the MG Delta plus
Were the flak shotgun rounds for the clay bazooka a new translation additioon only? Or were they in the orginal Zeta?
The full armor Hyaku Shiki looks really badass.
Oh yeah one of my favourite suit besides the mkii, and also my first ever gunpla (SD)
Dev History for the delta suits would be cool too
Now that i think of it Full Armor Weapons System video would be really interesting, every time I look into a suit a Full Armor Variant appears under a rock
Still here waiting for the Rick Dias development history...🕴️😣
I'm surprised no Delta Plus.
It literally is a finally technologically complete version of what the original intent of Hyaku Shiki as Delta Gundam was supposed to be.
heck if you sprayed it gold in MS mode it would look so much like the Hyaku Shiki.
So I'm surprised you skipped it, despite touching on the Delta Gundam early on in the episode.
Can you cover the development history of the the five wing gundams
idk about you guys but I'm thinking of a what if scenario in seed and seed destiny and that's "what if Shinn's family survived the blast during the battle in ORB (at least her sister)?" and "what if shinn never survived the blast during the battle in ORB?"
that have got me thinking in the past few days lol 😅🤣
Hey, kakarot, you should do one of these type videos on the 0/00/1.5 gundam from the 00 universe
Ohh, I'm glad to hear that
Nice, Arduino. I made a VR hip tracker for Unreal (windows only) using Arduino with a 6Dof chip as main component.
One of my favorite non gundam mobile suits!! Awesome!!!!😆😆😆💗
ngl my top favorite. hands down one of the coolest gundam
Hey Kakarot , after watching the Gundam seed switch video and if char died What If , could you be able to go to more what if and what the Cosmo era would be in the Blitz timeline , Love your videos .
Alright I know that at 9:28 one of the mobile suits in the box is the FA-78 but what are the other two?
I wonder if you could do the entire development history of GMs.
What about the akatsuki gundam i really wanna hear that one
One of my favorite GBO2 MSes
im writing a gundam seed fic and my si characters first suit is based on the delta
my si has stargate ancient knowledge
the first one is based on the zero but all black without the binders and with alteran knowledge it will be on the level of the 2nd gen gat series almost freedom lvl
CQB focus
So the delta Gundam had early RG symptom?
