that's cool try out all the pedals you like without buying one and being diappointed,i bought a weehbo jmp drive and through my marshall jvm it didn't sound as i expected a little thin when playing along with a song it just didn't have the body and definition that cut through like my jvm's od channel i was hoping for more of a marshall jmp sound as the name suggests ,i have seen some demos on you tube of it sounds great maybe it's the amp the jmp drive seems to sound good through a princeton reverb ,maybe you could compare some o.d/distortion pedals to some great amp distortio see if they stack up and maybe recommend somethig bogner sounds awesome great demo great playing,thanks
I used to have this pedal with the Ecstasy blue as well until I got my EVH 5150 iii 50watt, and I must say these pedals are so awesome. Really miss all of those options I had with those pedals. And great for gigging too.
I run both the blue and red into my 5150 set for clean...blows away the amp distortion
It's funny just recently I sold my EVH for a Fender Bassbreaker 45 and bought the Bogner Ecstasy red and blue again and its the best tone ever

Yes I want an 18 watt Atma...but for now i will just use the Bogner pedals...the blue pedal is the bomb with the boost engaged..Mr Bogner himself said (namm show) the blue pedal is the exact thing that he did to mod the Plexi's back in the day..you got a good tone now though bro...clean Fender tone then the vintage Marshall from hell with the pedals.

BravoColl It fills both tanks in my opinion...it's like having a killer Marshall amp at your toe tips

Hi, i suppose you connected the pedal to the input of the amp. Have you tried connecting to the return of the effects loop of this or any amp? I was wondering if this would sound better/different if used as a preamp

You're my kind of weird.
Painful tone for the first 3.00 mins, that's all I could take. It just hit a frequency that was really irritating to my ears, had to turn it off.
It sounds nice, but there needs to be a warning.. DO NOT BUY THIS USED!!!...There is a serious noise problem that affects some of these pedals.. nothing to do with power supply, guitar or amp.. just a highly significant and excessive white noise even minimum gain.. effectively, its a defective pedal
Do you think some are noisier than others or could it be that the noise only bothers some people? I have one and the hiss is pretty darn loud.
Perhaps its all, perhaps some folk always use a noise gate but for me it was unbearable yet like you i saw that plenty of people were ok with it...i got rid of mine real quick
+Mystic38 I have a new red now that's super hissy, but the tone is sure killer. Trying to decide whether or not to keep it and deal with it or send it back. If it didn't sound so good, it would be an easy decision!
I don't want to jinx myself but I have all 3 mine are not noisy but I don't play loud and my amps aren't loud either BUT I do have some pedals that are very noisy. Maybe u have a dud or it's something in ur wiring or ur set up? I would trade it. If it happens again it's your set up. There's so many things involved. Cables, pick ups, the pedal, the amp. I got a fuzz pedal by a big name brand plugged it in and got a radio station. The knobs didn't even work just radio blaring. Sent it back and they said it was working perfect. I'm in the city so it could've been my buildings wiring. Needless to say i'll never buy that pedal again but I must have 70 other pedals except for a few as I said that work fine.
One more thing I bought an amp that shall rename nameless. Again nothing but a radio station. Sent it back. It was a broken amp. Oh and i'll never by from them again or his distributor. I had to pay shipping for a broken amp. I didn't want it back. They said shipping would be free if I took it back. No thx. Dying to say what amp. But I could be sued.
it hisses. it pisses. too trebly and notsmooth as theblue. the boost adds a wall of craklingfizz. the blue is sooooo better
