    It was cool seeing how the pedals inspired you to play differently than you normally do. For me a pedal is considered worth it if it inspires new ideas and allows me to lose track of time and I think you showcased that element really well!

    I have the OG Bogner Ecstasy Red and some days it seems like it rules, some days it seems like I just fight with it. Based on what I'm hearing in this demo, the tunable middle EQ frequency on these new pedals might remedy what ails me.

      Personally, I don't see what age has to do with the music you like anyway. I still like all the heaviest shit. My wifes ex told me he had to grow up and stop listening to his rock (def leppeard and shit 😂) I told him being a man means knowing who you are, not pretending to be grown by liatening to shit you don't really like because someone might think its immature to listen to metal.

      Cool to hear someone doing something that's unusual.
      For instance, modding my Jet City soon, and I'd love to do the AFD/#39 mod to it, but literally everyone just plays Slash licks on it, and I want it for thrash.
      I mean, I know Dimartini played SLOs, but so does Matt Pike!

    Would you try pedals into the front end of an amp as well? I would never realistically run a pedal into a loop return. I know you can, and maybe sometimes should... but not for me.
    I like the sound of pedals driving a clean preamp of a good clean channel.

    Years and years ago George Lynch was arrested at an airport when he said he had Ecstasy with him. It's a great amp well worth it's legendary status. I hope you record a full song with the Solar > Red Ecstasy > Satan setup (with both the rolled back volume knob breakup and the high gain tones, adding a smidgen of delay to the solos) and play it here.

    Hello I need a recommendation to buy an overdrive, I am undecided between this pedal (ecstasy blue) or the bb Preamp xotic, I am looking for something transparent that sounds defined, that sounds good in the clean channel and that also heats the tubes of my tube amp when want to use the overdrive channel. Apart from being versatile, what pedal would you advise me?

    @olaenglund
    Hey Ola,
    I play guitar for quite some time now and want to move on into the world of 8 strings and I thought it would be a good idea to check out if there is a Solar 8 string since I only heard good things about your company and I want something mid-high to high-end. When I googled I read about a collaboration between you and Washburn to bring out the "Washburn Solar 180 8-string". In your sound demo this thing really fckn kills it and it has all the specs I'd like to have for my first 8 string (24 frets, 27" Scale length, Super Jumbo Frets, etc.). But unfortunately I can't find it anywhere across the internet. Washburn removed the page and I only find already expired deals on reverb. :(
    I want one of those monsters so badly, would be great if you can tell me if there is any chance to get my hands onto one of them.
    Sincerely Robin. :D

      Hey Kyle, it’s been eleven months since you asked the question, and as no one had addressed it, I will. The TS9 is a low to mid gain pedal notable for it low mid (frequency) range hump coloration. Not high gain at all.
