@cassl14 I usually use it to make some boneless wings and it is pretty good. I also use it to cook up french fries and they are really good too. I really like my airfryer.
the first 10-20 times you use it it's a bit dry, then it gets a natural oil coating inside and is similar to a deep fry taste. Others on comments here have said to oil spray your meat or potatoes before they go inside instead of dry, adds more deep dry taste. still healthier than soaking in oil.
Sam was at 487K two days ago, picked up 8K more subs since then. Should hit 500K by Wednesday. Seems to be getting 3500 new subscribers a day. His cooking skill and good looks are finally paying off..
I think what’s actually helped him grow since I originally saw him with less than 20k was cutting down his videos because they were fucking LONG and boring. His sweet spot is absolutely less than ten minutes and it’s helped him immensely.
These are sooo good. My grandson liked them so much, he asked me to make them for lunch. I only had some leftover chicken, so I used it. Now I use this recipe for many of our leftover meats. Works great with pork and even hamburgers. This is now one of my go-to quick meals. Thanks for the recipe and the inspiration.
Ok guys! So I actually made this last night and it did not disappoint. I don’t have an airfryer so I did it in the oven as he recommended and still came out great. Would recommend doing it on a rack or something because the bottom ended up being soggy but it was still super good. Guacamole was a hit. This feels like that movie “Julie and Julia” and I’m cooking my way through his recipes 🥘
I watch these in class and the girl who sits behind me was amazed. Absolutely stunned. I love your videos youre one of my cooking hero’s. Keep it up!!! From, youre biggest fan in Oklahoma
I make something similar with carnitas and make small chimichangas ,served same way. Excellent. If you want nice, chunky, pretty guacamole, slice the avocado in the shell, scoop out and Presto. Super fast and easy. I make guacamole just like this and serve on shredded lettuce as a guacamole salad. Yum.
For the people calling these "flautas" you are not wrong but you are not right. Depends on where you are ordering them. Typically people distinguish taquitos and flautas by the tortillas, flour for flautas and corn for taquitos but they can be made with either or and have few, small, if any differences other than maybe size or place they are ordered from. Examples: chicken fried steak vs country fried steak, fries vs chips, gravy vs sauce, cheese burger vs patty melt, sub vs hoagie. Most Mexican restaurants and even my Mexican family make tostadas on flat fried corn tortillas but most fast food places sell fried flour tortilla bowls filled with stuff and call them "tostadas" or taco bowls. Potato potata, all of these are still good AF!
Taquitos are made with corn tortillas and just chicken or beef. What you’remaking is what we call “flautas” which are made with flour tortillas and chicken with cheese and salsa. Basically a chimichanga
I love your take on chunky guacamole. That's just the way I like it (but with a bit of garlic). And using the air fryer for the taquitos is brilliant. Thanks for bringing us great ideas 😋
Im making these tonight for dinner. The Cubano episode is great -- I already like cooking with the country style pork ribs but put that into the cuubano is easy and super tasty.
Made these last night, and both the kids and I loved them. I have to believe they would have been even better if I'd remembered to get the cilantro. Still, very good!
I like the simple complimenting ingredients and fairly short cooking time as with the ease at which you present in making these type of dishes. This is one I'll definitely try, well I like them all but the simple sandwiches and dishes are more my speed.
Great video and channel !!! I have always believed that rolled tacos are traditionally made of corn tortillas while flautas are generally made of a flour tortilla !!!
Have pressure cooked chicken breast with seasoning for fast easy shredded chicken. I got a little air fryer recently will definitely try this or a chimichanga.
Sam. My fav is the good ole chimichanga w fajita beef. Do that please. Cheers from Texas. New subscriber love the show. You make food the way I like to do it
Love this recipe !!!! We just got a Ninja Air Fryer a couple months ago and omg that’s got to be one of the best inventions ever!!! Love your videos, thanks for doing them.
So I am literally sitting at the breakfast bar wondering what I am gonna do with the leftover rotisserie chicken I have shredded in my fridge, and Sam posts this... Gotta admit, I am freaked out a little, but I think I have all of the basic ingredients so...
Another great video, Sam. I think with this one I might be able to convince my wife to get an air fryer. I'd love to see some more videos making use of it.
I'm pretty new to air frying but 20mins @ 400 seems like a really, really long time. I haven't had to cook anything for more than 10 minutes, ever. What am I missing?
Hey Sam, I’ve always noticed you have a green egg in the back ground but never use it in your vids, we have one and are always cooking on it! You should do a green egg special
Sam Chili Rellenos are my favorite food. I have eaten many variations from Pancho's in El Paso Texas to Hacienda in Wasilla Alaska. Would you cook your version?
Technically those are flautas due to the flour tortilla, taquitos are made with corn tortillas. Good yummy recipe btw.
Yeah definitely flautas.
Flauta’s w/ flour
Taquito’s w/ corn
It's baffling to me how someone can make a whole video on UA-cam for the whole world and screw something up that bad.
@@thewhodat2314 the end result was the same
Cant get 100 % corn tortillas in Norway, just 50/50. Flauquitos...?
Sam do more air fry recipes please! Just got one for my dad
Agreed!!
@cassl14 I usually use it to make some boneless wings and it is pretty good. I also use it to cook up french fries and they are really good too. I really like my airfryer.
@cassl14 no problem!! It doesnt replicate the fried taste 100% but it does get the crispness.
the first 10-20 times you use it it's a bit dry, then it gets a natural oil coating inside and is similar to a deep fry taste. Others on comments here have said to oil spray your meat or potatoes before they go inside instead of dry, adds more deep dry taste. still healthier than soaking in oil.
Yes please. My daughter lives in a tiny house in SD and has no stove or oven. She cooks just about everything in her air fryer.

@@dailytimes6787 You might want to provide some proof to back up your alleged claims - that's extremely serious.
I first found him when he had just a few hundred subs. It's nice to see how far the channel has progressed.
These are sooo good. My grandson liked them so much, he asked me to make them for lunch. I only had some leftover chicken, so I used it. Now I use this recipe for many of our leftover meats. Now I need to go BACK to the store.
Basically forgot all the ingredients for this 🤦🏽♀️
Amanda Rios lol
😂😂😂
How was it

Only said "ladies and gentlemen" twice in this one. Our drinking game was expecting more!
Looking for taquito recipes and yours just won 🏆! To the kitchen!

In México we call them "flautas"
Well at least in Baja California
Love your videos! All the love from México
Flour flautas sounds weird. Flour doesn't get crispy like corn
@@edwardarsiaga3569 in Washington we call these encheritos de flour fritos.

now do one with corn tortillas. mix ground beef and the avacado together. Make a mush. Load the tortillas into the tortilla. bake.
Looks delicious! You need to make a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich!
Sam, could you do Montreal bagels? Boil them before you bake gives them the texture. If you boil them in honey water it makes even better bagels!
This is how you improve a recipe. Nice.
Taquitos are with corn tortillas and flautas are with flor tortillas.
Made these last night, minus the chopped jalapenos. They turned out great.
added his jalapeno sauce.....heaven!!
Are your daily home dinners this lit
i love this guy. he's hilarious
I am going to try this. My mouth is watering
Weird coincidence. I just got an air fryer as a housewarming gift. 😅 I'd been looking for recipes.
Great video and channel !!! I have always believed that rolled tacos are traditionally made of corn tortillas while flautas are generally made of a flour tortilla !!!
I like this short segment---shut up and just COOK, will ya? Short and sweet !
You should try some refried beans with chorizo and cheese as a dip.

Looks good. BTW I hate the runny pasty guac in the supermarket too.
Have pressure cooked chicken breast with seasoning for fast easy shredded chicken. I got a little air fryer recently will definitely try this or a chimichanga.
You notice how lovingly he handles the taquito🤣
That second bite was deep as hell 😂
Damn that looks amazing. Delicious & crispy w/ delicious guac, tomato & onion on top. Great presentation too.
Not the pasty runny... lol..lol too funny...

We have always added cumin to our guacamole. I'm thinking we should try the minced chipotles instead.
Let’s try this again. Calamari/fish and chips sampler
Oh my god I have to make these and pretty much everything Sam makes
