- Without a doubt, the question I get asked the most from you lovely ladies is ... where do I find my long boho dresses?!?!
I wear my flowy, mostly over-sized boho maxi dresses pretty much every day ... especially in the summer. They just make me happy!!

I’m artsy and an artist and older. I’m always funky and refuse to look old so funky pure white hair (since 40)and lots of linen with weird hem lines. We all need to create our own style and really own it.

I wore Boho dresses in the '70's as a young mum, and now, approaching 70, I have returned to them, even though most of my peers have not. As you say, it makes me feel happy! I love your Boho cottage life by the way!

I loved this video giving an insight on what amazing work you do with your camera, the beautiful views, and wonderful dresses. Loved the story that was published on your polyester dress collection too! It took me back to my younger days just graduating from high school. I may have a few long dresses upstairs. I know that I have a red mini dress that I wore the first New Years Eve party in 1975 that my then boyfriend, now husband, took me to. My anniversary is next week, 48 years.

I have 3 dresses and several blouses from a company called Holy Clothing, based in Niagara Falls, NY. The clothing is ethically made in India. I think you'd Iove their designs. I get compliments every time I wear one of their pieces, and women ask where I got them. :)

Hey Kate have you heard of a company called Natural life? They make really pretty dresses that are 100% cotton. Alot of things they have are very similar to free people...but less expensive. Being a big boho dress fan myself, I have bought several dresses from them, and so far have not been disappointed. Besides clothing they have some cute Home Goods as well. 🕊️♥️

Ah yes, polyester… had some of those in middle and high school…also called ‘wash-n-wear’. Were great for fall and winter but darn warm in summer , even if it was made light weight!
You look like you were getting our Washington weather!! Thats about all this state does….wet, wet, wet! When we do get sun, we have to run out and enjoy right away cause by the next day it could be liquid sunshine again! ( as we say)

One of my go to, which is a hit or a miss is Old Navy! Got two dresses boho like cotton and cotton/linen blend! They are amazing! And honestly, aside from the "Luxe" collection I never really had any issues with Old Navy clothes...

Exactly what I needed today! Driving to visit my brother in the hospital post brain surgery, I saw a billboard, YES a billboard about ticks from the Ohio DNR! Sorry, but you crossed my mind, and I wondered how you were doing with the same situation. Decided to try some shopping afterwards for swimsuits for an end of month beach vacay with my daughter and grandsons - talk about a whammy 😢 If it weren’t for letting the boys down, I honestly just wouldn’t go. Thanks for letting me glean from your positive energy, I have been a little bit down lately. Your videos are something I look forward to! I hope that your brother is recovering well after his surgery! And you're brave for tackling swimsuit shopping the same day as a hospital visit ... that's a lot! I usually have a tough time with bathing suit shopping too ... so I know that feeling. It's amazing how finding the right suit can totally make us feel good ... but ugh, going through the wrong ones is tough : ( So I'm sending you giant hugs. I can't remember what my grandmother's bathing suits looked like or how she looked in them ... but I clearly remember floating in the lake with her when I was little. Your grandsons will have the same kinds of memories with their beautiful grandmother, too ❤❤I'm doing great ... just finished the course of antibiotics. Can't wait to see what you have for us, next. Incidentally, I love Boho dresses, down to my ankles with, three tier, full skirts. They are so feminine and, forgiving. I ♥️♥️ Boho, especially the clothes..I grew up in the 60s & 70s.I just loved the era clothes, but beginning a child Mom ruled the buying, I was able to get some things my heart desired.. Then came a family etc..Now in my 60s, I feel that pull back to more simplicity..For me its Boho, free flowing..But gotta be cost effective..

I don't wear dresses as much as I'd like because it never gets very warm where I live even during summer. When the weather is cool I wear leggings and boots and sweaters with my dresses, but in the summer time I just want to throw on a dress and sandals and feel free. Brrrrr.... it's chilly here today so probably a vintage look with white jeans and a flowy boho top. Compromise! 😉

My sweet kindred spirit Kate, this was my favorite video because dresses are everything to me. I only wear dresses and I wear them year round. I don't think I even own a pair of slacks anymore. Natural Life makes just your kind of boho dress flavor
HI Kate love your photography.. especially your low to ground toadstool shots. Do you paint? That mustard dress looked stunning and Mother Nature got her way in the end and you got your shots.. I also loved that white one with the blue floral kimono. Without offending though may I say I didnt think the red lipstick suited you or the style, pale apricots browny pinks were in in the 60/70's and they suit you best like what you wore in the mustard coloured dress.. I live in Western Australia (WA) and there is a small boutique store in I believe Cooma in New South Wales (NSW is a state on the east coast) called 'Birdsnest' which sells the most amazing BoHo styles. I rarely see anyone who can wear red lipstick successfully its so harsh. Thankyou for sharing...maybe you should buy a 2nd remote for your camera and keep it in the car? I love that you photograph real women...they looked beautiful you did an awesome job on that shoot. BTW Im with Camille below when she says be aware of your surroundings, maybe better to have a few people around than nobody.

Back in the day, Pier 1 used to sell bo-ho dresses. So many little hippie shops back in the 1970's that would sell the dresses as well as incense, oils - you get the vibe! I got a fantastic score in the City back in late 70's - several 'Swirl' brand wrap around summer dresses - I got more compliments on them than anything else. It was at 'Sally's Boutique' a/k/a Salvation Army Thrift Stores.

Oh, you know what? The current incarnation of Cost Plus, aka Cost Plus World Market, also has had some wonderful boho dresses and other clothes over the last few years. Sleep stuff too, and scarves! Lots of nice stuff from India.

I never wear polyester, my skin is reacting and getts very itchi...
Me was told it´s not healthy wearing polyester....but nowadays so manny dresses, shirts etc. is made of (even recycled) polyest.
Natural fabric is more expensive, so instead of bying 2 things, just buy one..😅...

The photos look lovely! It was fabulous that finally the sun came out and you were able to get beautiful backlit photos. I have to laugh when you say you had all these polyster dresses. I can't stand polyester and I never wear it! It makes me stink, and I find it so hot and sticky because it doesn't breathe. I love all the beautiful clouds you show us in timelapse. So sorry about all the smoke that we sent down from up here in Canada, be we just had had enough of it, and had to share. LOL.
