I bought some half dead mums a few years ago, and when they were done blooming and they truly looked dead, I planted them in the front flower bed. Each year, they come back bigger and better. One is absolutely huge and is stunning. Mums have an amazing will to live.
Thankful for your videos! I’m recovering from a fall and heart attack.. home bound right now! Love your videos and the spice of life you add! Love, Kat
Kate, just like Nature is constantly changing seasons, so too do our lives, and they should. We are a constant work in progress, spoken from my vantage point of 67 years. EnJOY this fresh new season of your life. ❤❤❤
I so hope you know that you live a charmed life. I know there's challenges we all face, but there's something so serene about your world. You are adorable; your dog is adorable; your cottage is adorable. You have the spirit and eye of an artist, and watching you move through your world is like watching a piece of art unfold accompanied by soft relaxing music. I also live in central New York, but I am east of you, and my life is different from yours in many ways. If I ever had to start over, I would choose a world more like yours, further out into the countryside. I always wish your videos were longer, and the end seems to come too soon. Love from the Harlem Valley.
Gosh, you're so sweet for those kind words!!!!! I appreciate it : ) I'm definitely always seeking serenity and peace ... and I'm so glad that I get to share it with others here. And I hope that you find a little serenity and peace this week : ) You guys might already have some leaves starting to change where you are??! It's coming! Sending big hugs!❤❤❤❤
I love the new art piece and think it really pops and brings the entire bathroom together! Thanks again for another calming video. I'm 67 years old. I missed out on so much due to being a caregiver my entire life...a caregiver to everyone but me. Now I'm paying the price with poor health and broken dreams of what will never be. I love your videos and the life your living. Thanks for letting me live some of my golden years vicariously through your beautiful videos. ❤
Sending you the biggest hugs❤❤❤❤I'm so glad you enjoy the videos and I hope with all my heart that you have a lovely week with a few little unexpected beautiful moments : ) ❤❤❤❤
I kind of chuckled when I read your comment Janet because, other than the fact that I’m just a few years younger than you (I’m 60), you could be me (or I could be you) according to your comment. I’m in exactly the same position re health and have also gave up my life to caregiving.. I LOVE Kate’s videos, the way she takes us about with her, the way she expresses her thoughts so honestly, her little tips (like brown the butter), her gardening, art, photography etc I find all of it wonderful. Somehow it makes me feel less lonely, it makes me feel like I’m a tiny part of her life and that makes me happy.
Thank you for being who you are!!! The way you share your life, seeing you out and about, your home, cooking... You inspire just by being you, warm hugs coming your way!!!
I also gave myself permission to veg for the last six months..... bad idea! When I looked up , I had gained 7 lbs. My downfall has been to much time watching vloggers. I had to really limit and unsubscribe to so many. I have kept the handful that I really love and set a limit. In the morning I can only check email, my banking and one video...... then shut her down!!!! Otherwise It was truely consuming my entire morning. Being retired and living alone it is too easy to have 3 cups of coffee and still be in my PJS at noon!!!!! Now I can only watch the rest after 5 PM... I must be more productive and move more!!!!!!! I do garden every day since that is my passion. Love your cozy cottage, the lightning storm was awesome, and the browned butter tip for cookies. Boy did you score on the mums. There was nothing wrong with them. My clearance section at the nursery has gotten so bad. Most are dead or dying. Yours look amazing going up the stairs. Yes water, water, water!!!! And deadhead the spent blooms to encourage new ones.
Getting the good habits restarted is hard! But we can do it : ) : ) : ) Sounds like you're already on the right track! So that's encouraging to me to keep going!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
...same but with gluten-free flour, pecans or walnuts, and Stevia and a little Xylitol, a bit of fresh ground coffee beans, and a tad of raw honey or a bit of blackstrap mollasses. I've made chocolate chip cookies like this since I was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme & can't feed the bacteria in my body with refined sugar ...but the browned butter seems like a delicious addition. Ghee is an Indian butter that also has a nutty flavor. ~Tara (Kindlydude's wife)
I love it the painting in the bathroom, you’re right that then the other painting doesn’t fit and it’s gorgeous as well. Tough decision, can’t wait to see what you decide ❤
You're right about mums needing a lot of water. Herre is the best way I've found to care for them. Mums have fibrous roots and they struggle to absorb water . Fill a bucket 3/4 full and dunk the mum completely under the water. You'll see air bubbles coming out of the soil. Wait until the bubbles stop and then remove the pot. The dirt is completely saturated - a happy plant!
The flower painting is beautiful...I'm curious to see how it would look if you switched the art in the bathroom so the flowers are on the wall next to the left of the door and the lady next to the mirror. I feel like the muted tones of the lady would look nice on the green wall and the flowers would flow with the shower curtain and door.
Mycelium (the white fluff around soil and roots) is good for the soil and plants. It showed your plant is healthy. It simply needed potting into a larger pot. The chrysanthemums probably need repotting also as they were probably root bound and thats why they are on the cheap table. If there is still warmth in the air they could have been divided into two or three plants each and keep growing. ❤
The opening scenes of the sun shining through waving golden plants (wheat?) and the horses grazing were just breathtaking and so bucolic, lovely & soothing to the soul! ~T
I always plant my mums before the killing frost. At the end of October I take them off the porch and plant them behind the house where the winter wind is less hard on them. Then next summer they come up and I trim them to about 6 inches high till July 4th, then I let them get as big as they want. Last years are about 2 foot high and nice and full.
Absolutely!!!! The colors are really pretty together ... very 70s! But just the wrong shade for my skin tone. If you email me at littlebohocottage@gmail.com with your address, I'll send it to you!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I think your painting looks perfect in the bathroom. I like it with the other Paris painting picture too! Just the right amount of eclectic. 🙂 I also think that the cute dress you found will look great on you - especially with the new hair color/styling.
Thank you : ) Hmm ... and thank you for the encouragement about the paintings. Maybe with a few other things in there it will all blend together : ) Hope you have a great week!❤❤❤❤
Haha, you ask Charlie..." what should I do?" He thinks..." You should hush Mama, I'm watching my programme!" 😂 Since the last video of yours that I watched and commented on Kate, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm gearing up for my first session of Chemotherapy tomorrow (Monday 19/9). I can't say I'm looking forward to it. I want you to know that, as an artist, I too am struggling to maintain my sense of creativity, for now at least, so I know exactly how you feel and I also know it won't last forever. Sending love and hugs, to you, and the little fella, all the way from Oz!💖🦘
Hope all goes well with your treatment. As a weaver, I know how much my weaving helps when I'm stressed. Even if you don't feel especially creative, just the process of engaging in your art work might make things better.
I hope that everything went as smoothly as it could today. Your creativity will come back ... stronger than ever. Right now your energy just has to go somewhere else more pressing. Take good care of yourself ... and know that I'm sending you the biggest, biggest hugs imaginable. Charlie, too❤❤❤❤
I actually got rid of my tv this year & I haven’t missed it. The odd times that I find myself unmotivated I watch something on UA-cam that inspires me, like you, or a gardening channel or diy or craft channels. And because most things are only 15 or 30 minutes long it doesn’t eat into my time. I am retired & live alone so I can easily get in the mindset to do nothing & sloth about, but I usually get myself out of it quickly.
I love your life, and I so appreciate you sharing it with all of us! I'm not happy where I live, and I would be in heaven if I could find a little place like yours to rent. Like you, I adore all things nature. I found my passion in nature photography about 10 years ago, which I have combined with my love of hiking....perfect match! My camera goes with me everywhere. I'm retired for nearly 5 years now, so I finally have the time to dedicate to my passion. Also like you, I do a lot of thrifting and Marketplace shopping. The thrill of the hunt never gets old! I am totally in love with your little Charlie; he is just precious. His little face always makes me go, "Awwwww!" Thank you for inspiring me when I'm having a yucky day. Soak in these last days of colors from Mother Earth. I know I will be doing the same. Autumn is magnificent! 🥰
I hope you find the perfect little spot! I was in the Hudson Valley for 6 years before I finally found a little cottage to rent. So hopefully yours is coming soon, too : ) And you're so right ... the thrill of the hunt never gets old!!! Have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
Deadhead the spent blossoms on your chrysanthemums and you will be surprised how it will encourage new blooms to be enjoyed for a good bit! Always look forward to your videos!
I like the picture in the bathroom! That was a good find - I stopped at Goodwill this morning but I was early apparently they open at 10 on Sunday 🤷so I went to Home Goods and when I was there I won a $10 gift card! It was meant to be😁I'm saving it for when I find something special! 👍👏 😊Til next time!
New subscriber here. I just love all your videos . Your home is beautiful. Just a tip to make mums last longer/ don’t water them from the top / water from the bottom by setting them in a bucket of water/ then they don’t mold and last much longer. Learned this tip last year.
Oh, thank you for that tip!!!!! Someone told me the same thing last year after I killed all my mums and I totally forgot! I'll definitely try it this year and see what happens!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Hi Kate, your hair looks so good, I thought you were naturally blonde, boy you rock it girl! Cute boho dress, you'll look great in it, just try it. Charlie's so precious! God bless and Keep you both!
If I find a vintage dress I love but the colour doesn't suit me I just dye it and sometimes it comes out really beautiful 😊 would be fun to watch you do something like that x
Getting started is the hardest part and sometimes I’m so scared that if I stop, I won’t want to get started again . Then I burn out and get uninspired again and tired . I’m 39 almost 40 and just learning that One small step each day . Progress feeds energy . We are learning everyday
Loved the painting in the bathroom and thought it looked great with the other one. Also love your hair and the bangs - really suits you - very pretty - you are just beaming! The Mums are beautiful! I think the angels set those aside for you and 'borrowed' their pricing gun 😄 They look beautiful on your stairs..the perfect place for them...I have high hopes for your plant you are trying to save. Your pumpkin smoothie looked yummie! We just bought some pumpkin puree but my son is going to make a pumpkin cheescake, yum! Always look forward to your videos. Glad your eye is okay - Phew! So good to laugh at ourselves..and yes, it is funny that you hurt your eye while trying to protect it 😂Sooo good that everything turned out okay...So good to see sweet Charlie as always..missing our black lab; Scarlett who is almost 16 years old who is living with my eldest son an hour away. I was hoping to move into a house to bring her with us...but we are temporarily in a condo, so seeing your Charlie helps. 🥰
I like the painting in both places, but I think I like it in the bathroom just a tiny bit better. With your plant, you might want to try dipping the stem in water and rolling it in cinnamon, then planting it. Cinnamon is a root stimulant. I grew a huge butterfly bush this way.
I always look forward to your videos. This one has inspired me to stop watching so much youtube, I used to read and do crafts. I want to get back to that. I live on a beautiful property that is on a lake and I need to be more present here. My love and snuggles to Charlie he is so adorable. BTW I like the picture in the bathroom.
Several years ago, I turned OFF the tv, and never turned it on again. I don't miss it at all. My life is filled with reading, music, art, and learning. I came to realize that the tv was just background noise and a big distraction from what I wanted my life to be.
I love the new art in your bathroom. Your cottage is beautiful & So are You Kate. Thank you for being so wonderful you & Charlie. I'm so grateful everytime you post something it sure is a blessing. Just like you are. Thank you for the browned butter tip .😊✨ I love thrifting too.🥳😊. I'm always excited when you post your videos thank you Kate.
I think I'm the only one who prefers the new art piece in the living room, aboove the tv. The colours work really well there too.And you can see the whole piece. Its not cut off by the door.
Wow loving the hair, you always look good But nothing beats a little pick me up, and yes it is good as the night takes over so much of the days ahead, to have a plan, the fact you love baking and you can at least freeze some things for the days you just want to chill. Love the picture you got I wonder if you swapped the other one over and see does it look anyway different ???? either way it will find a place. Great on the Mums as well, had one for years it was part of the garden plants from last owners, they had just planted it. so it looked amazing year after year, and became one of my Fav. Big hugs from Ireland xxxx Dede xxx
Thank you!!!!! And it's so great that your mums came back!!!! I've never had success ... but that's probably because I keep killing them before I can plant them, lol. Hope you have a wonderful week!❤❤❤❤
Love your boho cottage and I always watch your videos. Can you do updated tours of your cottage, sharing new decor you thrift and where you place them in your home.
Beautiful picture and I love it where you have the butterfly picture! I agree some of the resale shops are just to pricey anymore😕 What a great bargain on the mums they are so pretty❤️😎👍
Hello friend! I love the picture on the bathroom wall. It seems to go with more in there. I have that girl with the watering can Renoir picture but on a slightly smaller scale. I love the impressionists as well. I was in a production of "Little Women" and sprained both ankles falling down a flight of stairs wearing those Victorian granny boots from the show. I had pre-purchsed tickets to see the Renoir exhibit (including my favorite) in Chicago - 4 hours away and was determined to go anyway so I grabbed two canes and hopped in the car and hoped for the best. It was worth it. I love Renoir.
Oh my word ... your poor ankles!!!! That's some serious determination to get to a show anyway! I'm so glad you made it!!!!!!!!! How cool that you were in a production of little women (minus the injury, of course!)❤❤❤❤
@@littlebohocottage That's what I do besides a day job. (Acting and singing and voice over work professionally and non professional) Day job just pays the rent but does not "feed my soul". Can't wait for fall colors to start here in Michigan. Have a great day,my friend. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
Love your home and style. I too love thrift stores and Fall season. Sometimes we need to give ourselves time to relax and do nothing before we move on in life.
I vote for the picture in the bathroom...seems perfect in there, and not bad with the picture you already have in there in my opinion. cheers to you creativity and love of the simple pleasures of life!!
Wow - 49 videos already! And more thrift store trips, which I love. I totally think that the new painting doesn't work with the one already in the bathroom, which I love, but I think the butterflies would work with the bathroom one. And I think the new one behind the TV looks lovely! The great thing is that you can always move around your art and you get to enjoy things differently - and notice them more - when they are in a new place. I hope your tree bits grow! I find that if you just cut the top off until it's short and take off all but the top sets of leaves, it needs less energy to grow. You might need a bit of root starter and for them to be in dirt, rather than water. But fingers crossed! It's always lovely to see what you are up to in your home and your life. I know what you mean about shifting your life so you do what works best for you. There's time to veg in front of the TV (I'm so glad I don't have one - but I veg in front of UA-cam!) and time to be more active. Those chocolate chip cookies look amazing. Don't tempt me to back cookies! I need to elimite sugar! LOL. Have a great week Kate and Charlie!
I had the same thought about the butterflies in the bathroom and the vase & flowers above the TV. And I'm hoping she updates us on whether the plant she tried to save survives and grows roots. Maybe your suggestions will help!
I can't believe it's 49 already!!!!! Thanks for the plant info ... I'm definitely learning what works and doesn't. As for the cookies ... ugh, it's rough to bake and not eat, lol! I'm trying to do better about baking and giving away to others without feeling the need to eat it, too. But boy is that hard!❤❤❤❤
I love the picture you found! I think it looks great in the bathroom. I found a smaller one of a girl sitting in a vintage tub with her legs hanging over the side and she's reading a book and is surrounded by plants with a black cat sitting next to her at Hobby Lobby for around $5 earlier this summer, so of course I had to get it. The mums you found are so pretty! I think you scored. I've been trying to watch less of the news, but I like having the tv on for background noise especially when I'm sewing. I've started playing more of the ambience videos from YT..there are so many good ones! A lot of what I do entails sitting, like sewing and crocheting but I have been trying to get out of the house more. Last weekend I went to a local vintage store and hunted through eight bins of vintage patterns. The lady who owns the store is so cool and wow, does she have some good ones! I found one in pristine condition from the 1940s! The best part is that she only charges about $3 for them. Now I just need to find the right fabric. Give Charlie a boop and smooch from me..:)
Awww ... that picture sounds so adorable!!!!! And I've been doing the same thing! Lots of different ambient videos going on in the background ... so relaxing. I hope that you have a wonderful week!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Your hair looks lovely 🩷 I was so surprised to hear about your tv watching dilemma, because I was literally just going through the same thing myself! I use way too much screen time to unwind! I love the idea of baking or something else and a 2 hour limit!! I like the new painting in the bathroom the best lol
I so love how you’ve decorated your little cottage! It gives me the ideas…and courage…to experiment more with color in my own home! I like your slow embrace of autumn as it is a season to savor!
Hi Kate, I remembered watching this video and I had to go back to it because of this painting! I have had the same one, framed, for years. I love it and in some of my purging efforts I have never been able to part with it. I decided to share with you what the origin of it is. On the bottom of my print it has...Odilin Redon, French 1840-1916, Flowers in a Chinese vase, ca. 1906. Oil on canvas, 72.7 x 54cm. The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Bequest of Mabel Choate, in memory god her father Joseph Hodges Choate, 1958. (15. I6.3). @1996 The Metropolitan Museum of Art
I love your videos!!! Every week is a treat and an escape to your beautiful Hudson Valley. I loved the new painting in the bathroom. All the colors there seemed to welcome it.
I love your attitude of gratitude. I'm also happy you are getting out and enjoying your garden. I live in a 1000 sq ft patio home...i have no more walls left to hang pictures...I feel you. Your little cottage is so friendly and inviting. Enjoy the soon to be...autumn.
I love how you involve whatever finds you make, in nature or a thrift store or a plant store, and use them to enhance your space; how you use battered but functional items (e.g., your cutting board) and expose the beauty in them. I love the mums and the print you found! I'm a weaver but recently tumbled down the rabbit hole of crocheted baskets. Haven't crocheted in years but your cottage made me realize how much I'd like some baskets, created in the size and colors I want, for my plants and in order to corral not-pretty but necessary items. So I allowed myself to just sit, watch your video and work on a basket. Now your peaceful and inspiring video is over and I'm off to enhance my own space, (cleaning and laundry). Glad your eye is okay -- and glad you won't give up on safety glasses even though the last pair attacked you! And I'm hoping the Lyme vaccine is out and ready for use by next spring so that you'll be able to enjoy your garden.
Thank you!!! And now I'm off to go look up crocheted baskets! That sounds like a really fun thing to make!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you a wonderful week!❤❤❤❤
@@littlebohocottage If you get interested, you can sometimes find yarn in thrift stores. Or just buy really cheap yarn since it won't be against your skin.
What a great thrill, to visit with you, again. Like you, I am not a fan of rushing the seasons. Pumpkins are on sale at Wal-Mart so, I turn my head the other way and, then, there are Mums, everywhere! I love the way you changed your hair colour. Very pretty. I love your thrift stores. They are better where you are. Ours are pretty bleak! I can't believe Charlie tucked into that Pumpkin with such gusto. He is a sweet little guy. Just perfect, for you. My Rudy, and I, have, finally bonded and, I am glad you did the video, addressing how, you and Charlie, didn't do so well, in the beginning. I think I was mourning the loss of my precious Chico and, my heart wasn't open, fully, to love another dog, again. I bought a shoulder bag, for Rudy so, now, I tote, all 5lbs of him, everywhere, he is allowed in. He loves our little shopping sprees. When you were in the thrift store, at one of them, you were looking at a painting of a Renoir Girl! My heart leapt! I have a miniature, my M-I-L painted, for me, years ago, hanging in my bathroom. I thought I was seeing things! Glad you didn't do any damage to your eye, from those safety glasses. I used to wear goggles. I think I found them in a thrift store. I hope you are able to transplant those beautiful Mums. I never thought to buy one's that looked like they were on their last legs. Great idea and a good way to save money. It is hard to imagine, what your second cottage looked like, when you were first moving in because, it is cozy, warm and inviting, as though you have, always, lived there. I do love the light, over the kitchen counter. When you bought it, you weren't sure, you would keep it. It gives a lovely ambiance, when you turned it on. I love the idea of living small and, filling my nest with treasures that make me feel good. I, like you, go shopping with something in mind, like, for your bathroom but, come back with boots and, a vintage dress. Why not! I do it, all the time! Well, I will say bye, for now but, I will be looking out, for your next video. Thank you.❤🇨🇦
🌄🌈Oh I use to love going to Lowe's and getting all the marked down plants and planting them to see how they spring 🌼 back.. love your videos and that dress you found is gorgeous!!🤗💕
As I've got older, I appreciate more the simple things in life. I love watching your videos and it's nice to know that there are like minded people out there. I like to be cosy and now I'm retired, I spend more of my time at home, which I can finally enjoy. Thanks again for sharing your life.
I’ve struggled with depression and often find after a long day at work retreating to my bed with my iPad and videos has become too comfortable. Like you, gardening, creating, and cooking bring me joy and I need to do more of those things.
You're living the cottage life that I dream of having. My teen daughter and I love to thrift, too. Thank you for sharing your amazing videos. You're a beautiful person with a pure soul.
I like the picture where the butterflies are because it matches the color of the chest of drawers. I feel like it clashes with the picture that's already in the bathroom.
A tip on buying mums… forget the ones in full bloom. By the time autumn truly arrives, they will be almost finished! Buy the ones still in the bud and enjoy them all fall!
I have always been an avid reader but I think the internet scroll mentality had made it hard for me to concentrate on a book for a while. I decided to re-engage that part of my brain and one way that I do it is listening to audio books. I can cook or clean or piddle around and still have the enjoyment of a long form story. i love it and have read/listened to at least 250 books in the last couple of years!
I always love your videos. They are so soothing and down to earth I admire the way you live. I love Charlie too! I like the picture in the bathroom just up a little bit.
I never heard of adding browned butter to chocolate chip cookies! Yummmm!! I will definitely try that. Your hair turned out so nice. I quite coloring mine about 10 years ago, but every now and then I want to go back to blonder hair. I think the new art piece would look so nice above the dresser. The colors go so well together. Hope you enjoy all the beauty of Fall. XO🍂🍂
Thank you!!!!!!! And I totally understand needing to change up the hair sometimes. It's just fun to change things around sometimes : ) Have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
In the Midwest we can plant mums and they come back. You got a great deal. I love that you try to rescue plants. Sad when a thrift store has such high prices things don’t sell. Defeats the purpose behind helping others. I love that you are setting new goals now that you feel better. The smoothie sounds yummy. I’ll have to try that. I’ve never had a pumpkin smoothie. You could always temporarily replace the artwork for Fall in the bathroom with the one you have currently up and then put the other one back come winter. Or same with the butterfly print. Just replace it for Fall with the new one. I look forward to seeing where you put it. 🍁🍂🪴
I just recently discovered your channel and Oh...my...my...what a beautiful channel. I love all things boho, shabby chic, primitive. I love thrifting and I just absolutely love your cottage. I live in a very small house. It began as about 600 square feet and my husband and I added a bedroom and a dining room and a dining porch. It is right at 1000 sq. ft. now and we just love it. We are recently retired and we live in North Florida. I love your videos. They are just so pretty.
Absolutely voting for the bathroom as the green in the painting goes with the green walls. PS the rusty red colored shower curtain is the perfect match because red/green (plants, walls) are complimentary colors, opposites on the color wheel. Excited to see what comes next in this new SEASON of life! XO
Use the hose to bare root larger plants. I wash out all shrubs and trees because the growing medium is not always the best, and often hides root problems like circling roots and gnats. Best way to give a plant a new start.
I bought some half dead mums a few years ago, and when they were done blooming and they truly looked dead, I planted them in the front flower bed. Each year, they come back bigger and better. One is absolutely huge and is stunning. Mums have an amazing will to live.
Mine as well! I was told annuals but figured put in the ground snd they have done fantastic!
That's so awesome! I need to remember to do that with these this year if I don't kill them first!!!!!!! Thank you : ) ❤❤❤❤
I have three growing in my backyard and one in my front from previous years. I bought two this year because I need them for a specific flower bed.
I think your new piece of art looks great in the bathroom. The shower curtain sets it off beautifully xxx
Thank you!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Thankful for your videos!

Well stated! I have to wholeheartedly agree…thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us
What a delight you are thank you for brightening up a really tough day! I vote for the bathroom for the new painting ❤
You can always start over and create the life you want!
I really like the picture in the bathroom. I like it with the green walls. ❤
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I love the new art piece and think it really pops and brings the entire bathroom together!
Aw, thank you for that! I appreciate it : ) : ) Have a great week!❤❤❤❤
Definitely your bathroom, it's perfect there❤
Love the picture in the bathroom
Thank you!!❤❤❤❤
I also gave myself permission to veg for the last six months.....
I love the tip on browned butter in the cookies... I'm using it next time I bake toll house cookies ❤
Me too. I'm going to do that the next time I bake choc chip cookies.
It's such a game changer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...same but with gluten-free flour, pecans or walnuts, and Stevia and a little Xylitol, a bit of fresh ground coffee beans, and a tad of raw honey or a bit of blackstrap mollasses.
Still can't decide, lol!!!!!❤❤❤❤
The painting looks really nice against the green in your bathroom😊
Thank you!!!!! I'm so excited I found it!❤❤
The flower art in your bathroom looks nice .
The mums on your front porch are beautiful !
Thank you!!!!!! Have a lovely week : ) ❤❤❤❤
Highlighted hair is sooo you!Lighten up your face!! I wish you a ''new start'' fall !!
Thank you!! Happy fall to you : ) ❤❤❤❤
I vote in the bathroom where the lady painting is hanging. It just works perfectly in the bathroom there.
Thank you!!!!!❤❤❤❤
The flower painting is beautiful...I'm curious to see how it would look if you switched the art in the bathroom so the flowers are on the wall next to the left of the door and the lady next to the mirror.
Another beautifully photographed video! Nature, harmonious color, plants and flowers, clouds, lightening, rain--lovely. Amazing hair!
Thank you so much : ) : ) I hope you have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
The opening scenes of the sun shining through waving golden plants (wheat?) and the horses grazing were just breathtaking and so bucolic, lovely & soothing to the soul! ~T
Where to start…
Love the blonde hair, the floral picture in the bathroom, Charlie eating pumpkin, the color of those mums. Happy almost Fall! 🧡🍁🍂🎃🍌🐶
I'm going to set a reminder on my calander to do that this year!!!!!!! Thank you!
I love all your videos! You are wise beyond your years. Its the little things that make life special.
Aw, that's so kind ... thank you : ) Have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
I love the painting in your livingroom . It matches so well with your chest of drawers..🤩
Thank you!!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
OMG! If you dont want that vintage dress I would die to have it!
Haha, you ask Charlie..." what should I do?" He thinks..." You should hush Mama, I'm watching my programme!" 😂
Since the last video of yours that I watched and commented on Kate, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm gearing up for my first session of Chemotherapy tomorrow (Monday 19/9).
👑💐Sending you light🕯️, love❤️, healing 🧚♀️and positive 🦋vibes🤗
Hope all goes well with your treatment.
As a weaver, I know how much my weaving helps when I'm stressed. Even if you don't feel especially creative, just the process of engaging in your art work might make things better.
I hope that everything went as smoothly as it could today. Your creativity will come back ... stronger than ever. Right now your energy just has to go somewhere else more pressing. Take good care of yourself ... and know that I'm sending you the biggest, biggest hugs imaginable. Charlie, too❤❤❤❤
I like the flower in vase painting above the tv & pretty chest in your living room the best.
Thank you!❤❤❤❤
I think your new painting looks lovely in your bathroom. Wonderful, relaxing video. Thank you. Have a great week. ❤
Thank you!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I like listening to an audio book while working on a jigsaw puzzle some evenings instead of TV. Very homey. Great storytelling and photography❤.
Oooh, what a nice suggestion! Thank you for that! I haven't done a puzzle in a while but absolutely love doing them!
That's awesome!!!!!!!! It's such a time suck : (
I love your life, and I so appreciate you sharing it with all of us!
I love the picture in your bathroom! I think it looks really nice with the green!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Deadhead the spent blossoms on your chrysanthemums and you will be surprised how it will encourage new blooms to be enjoyed for a good bit!
Ooooh ... score!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
What a beautiful video! Thank you for taking us along and encouraging us in so many ways ❤
Thank you for being here : ) : ) I hope you have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
Yes, into the bathroom!
Thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤
New subscriber here. I just love all your videos . Your home is beautiful. Just a tip to make mums last longer/ don’t water them from the top / water from the bottom by setting them in a bucket of water/ then they don’t mold and last much longer. Learned this tip last year.
Thank you for that tip! Will be doing that to mine! Thanks for sharing the tip! Will be watering from the bottom , and not from the top
That's a really fun idea! Thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤
Your videos are soothing and inspirational. Thank you for creating them. And,I love the painting in your living room rather than the butterflies❤
Thank you : ) I'm so glad you enjoy the videos!!!!!! Have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
Getting started is the hardest part and sometimes I’m so scared that if I stop, I won’t want to get started again . Then I burn out and get uninspired again and tired . I’m 39 almost 40 and just learning that
One small step each day .
Progress feeds energy .
We are learning everyday
Love this. One small step every day : ) ❤❤❤❤
Love the picture in the bathroom with your existing color scheme in there!!
Thank you!!!❤❤❤❤
Loved the painting in the bathroom and thought it looked great with the other one.
I love sitting and knitting or weaving while looking out on a lake. I did that on vacation and it was so incredibly restful. I envy you your lake!
Several years ago, I turned OFF the tv, and never turned it on again. I don't miss it at all. My life is filled with reading, music, art, and learning. I came to realize that the tv was just background noise and a big distraction from what I wanted my life to be.
I was just there, my hometown Woodstock 😊
And born in Kingston, was up there twice this year ❤❤
Such a great hometown!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Those mums will bloom multiple times if you dead head the spent blooms once they're done blooming. 😊
Thank you for those kind and encouraging words!!!!!!!!! I really appreciate it and hope that you have a lovely, lovely week : ) ❤❤❤❤
Loved the video, and Kate your hair looks so pretty! Hugs to little Charlie ❤
Aw, thank you : ) : ) ❤❤❤❤
Love your boho cottage and I always watch your videos.
I guess it just makes it that much more exciting when we do score at thrift stores now!!!!! : ) Have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
@mtzjotz Great minds think alike! 😊 She's pretty good about updating us, so hopefully she will! 🤞
@@littlebohocottage Proud of you for not eating the cookies. I couldn't do it! Happy Fall!🍂🍁🎃
@@littlebohocottage I would never be able to resist!
I like the picture instead of the butterflies since it matches the cabinet below.
Thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤
Your hair looks lovely 🩷 I was so surprised to hear about your tv watching dilemma, because I was literally just going through the same thing myself! I use way too much screen time to unwind! I love the idea of baking or something else and a 2 hour limit!! I like the new painting in the bathroom the best lol
Thank you!!! Sheesh, it's a struggle with that screen time!!!! Sending you screen-free vibes : ) ❤❤❤❤
I so love how you’ve decorated your little cottage! It gives me the ideas…and courage…to experiment more with color in my own home! I like your slow embrace of autumn as it is a season to savor!
I definitely believe in the more color the better, lol. And also that if nothing matches, then everything works! Hope you have a wonderful week!❤❤❤❤
Bathroom, for sure. Perfect. Love your hair too.
Thank you!!❤❤❤❤
Hi Kate, I remembered watching this video and I had to go back to it because of this painting!
I think the picture looks good in the bathroom. Love your boho cottage. Thanks for sharing.
Hey girl you have great legs …
Thank you!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I love your videos!!! Every week is a treat and an escape to your beautiful Hudson Valley.
I loved the new painting in the bathroom. All the colors there seemed to welcome it.
Thank you! I love how you said that ... the colors there seemed to welcome the painting : ) ❤❤❤❤
Girl, that Golden/Yellow dress was giving some serious Fall vibes... absolutely beautiful and so are you. Take care.
Thank you.❤🇨🇦
💛I love your love of Charlie and all things nature; thank you. You have a special way of helping others see things from a new perspective.🤎
Aw, thank you for those kind words!!!!!❤❤❤❤
I love watching. your videos. Your voice is so calming. You sharing makes everyday living so interesting and beautiful
🌄🌈Oh I use to love going to Lowe's and getting all the marked down plants and planting them to see how they spring 🌼 back.. love your videos and that dress you found is gorgeous!!🤗💕
It's like a little addiction, lol!!!!! I love when I score : ) Have a lovely week!❤❤❤❤
Oh definitely will brown the butter with my next recipe. Someone else I watched browned their butter in a recipe. I always love your videos.
Oh man .. you'll never go back!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Another lovely time spent with ypu on adventures. Thank You for sharing😉
Thank you for watching!❤❤❤❤
You are lovely, adorable, and beautiful. Thank you for your very real and peaceful videos.
Thank you for that kind comment!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
As I've got older, I appreciate more the simple things in life. I love watching your videos and it's nice to know that there are like minded people out there. I like to be cosy and now I'm retired, I spend more of my time at home, which I can finally enjoy. Thanks again for sharing your life.
I’ve struggled with depression and often find after a long day at work retreating to my bed with my iPad and videos has become too comfortable. Like you, gardening, creating, and cooking bring me joy and I need to do more of those things.
I talk to my puppy dog all day and night. She is my Sunshine 🌻
Thank you!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
A tip on buying mums… forget the ones in full bloom. By the time autumn truly arrives, they will be almost finished! Buy the ones still in the bud and enjoy them all fall!
Thank you!!!! It's good to learn tips!!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for taking me with you to shop.❤
Thank you for being here : ) ❤❤❤❤
I never heard of adding browned butter to chocolate chip cookies!
Put the butterflies in the bathroom and the flowers above the orange drawers!!! So pretty!!!😊😊😊❤
XO
Thanks for another lovely vlog. 😊 I like your new painting best in the bathroom. ❤
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Happy Sunday BoHo❤❤
❤❤❤❤
Use the hose to bare root larger plants. I wash out all shrubs and trees because the growing medium is not always the best, and often hides root problems like circling roots and gnats. Best way to give a plant a new start.
Thank you for that tip!!!! I need to start doing that!!!!
I love the floral picture in the bathroom. I love your cottage it's so inviting.🎉
Thank you!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing.
What a lovely episode, That is a gorgeous picture. I was liking it in both places. Hard decisions. Those choc chip cookies!! My mouth was watering!
Thank you for watching : ) : ) ❤❤❤❤
I love fall the smells the sounds and the sights 🥰
Me, too!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Lowes always does clearance on mums when they get another delivery
Charlie is SOOOOOooooo scrumptious! That face...I cant. And, the lightening. Stunning!
