Hope you don't mind me weighing in here. I use the M13 for worship too. With my American Strat, there is some loss of tone. With my cheaper guitars, it doesn't really matter. Since the delay and reverb effects are more prominent the loss of tone in the Strat doesn't bother me. In a band mix no one can tell. The Vox AC 15 (or even the 4 if you're mic'd) is a good choice. But check out the Ibanez TSA15 head and cabinet. I just replaced my 40w Blackstar with one. Hope this helps - God Bless.
Hi, 2020 now you think it's still worth getting this? I see HD500X similar price. I haven't decided which route to go to, I also bought S-Gear 2, but haven't tested because I got no MIDI controllers. Have you tried using purely effects/VST (Laptop) in live worship? Thanks!
I think it depends. If you've got an amp you love, I wouldn't buy something with amp modeling built in. Personally, I'm still doing a real pedalboard with the option for going to a live amp or using a Walrus Audio ACS1 for digital modeling to a direct box. Best of both worlds!
0:18 - external standalone tuner? The M13 has a built-in tuner accessible by holding down the TAP button for about 2 seconds. This is totally usable unless you have your "favorite" tuner that you used forever before incorporating the M13 in the gear rig. (to-each-their-own)
Moe Bass true. I use an external for 2 reasons: first, I feel like (and I could be wrong) that the Boss is more accurate. It’s also faster to access. Also, sometimes I run an acoustic through the tuner’s thru output to a DI and then through the effects and to an amp. But it’s certainly not necessary to have the external tuner, you’re correct.
Broder, me meti en este video para ver mas ejemplos del Line 6 M13, y vi tu mensaje. Yo soy Venezolano, tambien musico Cristiano viviendo en DC. Saludos.
I like your tone for sure... I use a new Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb Silverface 22 watts... I only turn it up to 2 1/2 and use pedals... We have a killer computerized PA with flown speakers... The system will hit you in the gut with bass drum and bass guitar... It is a joy to do worship when you sound great... Anyway, you have great tone... Thanks!
You've confirmed that I can likely forgo the boutique multiple individual pedal route... Thanks! Can you tell me why I can find a m13 for less than an m9 on reverb everyday when this is fuller featured?
@faststrat5 what kind of amp is that ? I heard you say in the video what it was but couldn't quite understand. Thanks Your playing and sound are really good sounds awesome
I have the stereo delay setup like yours when you started showing what things sound like. But I'm getting a heavy slap back replaying the note I originally played. Didn't hear that when you did it on your video. Any suggestions to fix?
Do you make your worship patches available for others? I see there are worship patches fir the helix etc but i don’t see anyone using them for the m13. I like the m13 into a real amp best. Is there a site where patches are available for worship songs??
No, but I do now run my M5 (smaller version) into the Walrus Audio ACS1 (among other things) and I'm really digging it. I still love amps, but the modeling is so nice for headphones and specifically playing at church to keep stage volume down.
how did you control your distortion with your expression pedal? after you press looper control to go to expression pedal setup do you just set it up to expression pedal 1 or 2 for effects??
Fatstrat5 ive been thinking about getting this line 6 pedal but have heard that line 6 is a tone squasher. Is this true? What tube amp could I get that's inexpensive that sounds good for worship. When you play guitar harder and it breaks up is that the amp or the guitar
No, I don't have any experience going direct to anything other than Native Instruments Guitar Rig on my computer, which has amp modeling. I use the SansAmp for bass though, and it's wonderful.
I've been wanting to get one of these to use at my church but I normally just run through the PA cold this work well going straight to the PA? I currently have a boss gt-100 but it's not really working out the way I thought it would.
austin ashley I wouldn't recommend going straight into a PA from this…as stbreal said below, there's no amp modeling on this. But you could get something like a SansAmp at the end of your chain and do so. I personally just love a real amp. But, I do use Native Instruments amp modeling software for recording sometimes and it sounds great.
I've heard of that happening. Unfortunately, from what I understand, the footswitch itself is just going bad. I got my M5 modded by jhv3.com. I just did the audio upgrade, but he also replaces/upgrades switches. I definitely like the audio upgrade, especially on the modulation effects...it has less signal drop than the factory version.
The modulation effects seem to have the biggest drop in volume. I suggest JHV3's mod for the M5, M9, and M13. It really cleans up the tone and adds a volume knob that you can use to boost a little on the effects that drop levels. It takes an already good versitile pedal and makes it great. jhv3.com
Sorry, I'm super bad about checking comments on this channel! I've got a spaceship of a board, now. The bones of it is Keeley compressor > JHS double barrel > Line 6 M5 > Strymon Timeline > Walrus R1 > Walrus ACS1
It's pronounced "Vehtuh," not "Vayta." It's a compressor model from Line 6's earlier Vetta amp series. Sorry, I'm anal about stuff like that :P Great video though, nice sounds. Will probably use some of these myself, thanks.
hello, why have you set the order : Amp- drive - mod - delay - reverb - guitar ? should'nt it be like Amp - reverb - delay - mod - drive - Guitar ? Sorry for my english xD
+Juan Carlos Sanchez It's actually not in that order, it's the opposite. The M13 can be set to go left to right, or right to left (sort of like traditional pedals). I have mine set left to right, so it's going Guitar > Drive > Mod > Delay > Reverb > Amp.
+Stephen Whitney I made some changes to my board and am using the Line 6 M5, now (just the small one-effect version of the M13). Ya know, always making changes. ;)
Sorry for the late reply. Still using the M5, but also have a Strymon Timeline, Walrus Audio Descent for reverb, and a JHS Double Barrel. Those are my most used ones.
Juan Bustamante Try this instead www.dropbox.com/s/ex9oekxxzyy2am2/M13%20Pdub_scene-1C.syx?dl=0 That should download automatically and your computer will try to open it as a txt file, but you have to use something like Sysex manager to get it to your M13
That's a Stulce SA-10c.. An 8 to 10 watt combo made by Jason (?) Stulce for use for the guys that need a full sounding amp at less than 10wts. I had one, wasn't loud enough in "bar band" but would be perfect if you mic'd everything and used in-ears. I bet that amp weighs less than 20 pounds too and that's not tolex on the amp, it's a textured substance like truck bed liner, very durable. Great amps! Unfortunately, I believe they are no longer making amps
***** Yep. What Jason said. It's perfect for almost everything I do, but yeah, unfortunately they're not making them anymore. Though, there are lots of cool boutique amp companies making similar amps now with lower power. I even use it in bar settings and for the most part, it gets plenty loud.
It's an old Shure...Truth is I've misplaced the receiver as well as it's using the outdated FCC frequencies. I don't run around stage like I used to, so haven't needed it in a while.
Not on this video, no. But I do normally run a light compressor constantly on my current setup. A Keeley 4 knob one. It’s especially helpful because it has a trim knob to balance out the different levels of my guitars.
I love the way we Christians throw that expression around without really knowing if God would endorse that statement! No offence to this great youtube clip,,but we Christians so lightly say things like, "God told me"..."I know that God is..."....a bit off putting when even the disciples or Jesus didn't talk like that!
This is great. I hope you are well! Prayers!
Bro! I was totally surprised by your tone! Sounds sweet!
Ok, youve totally just sold me on the M13 brother.... awesome!
Hope you don't mind me weighing in here. I use the M13 for worship too. With my American Strat, there is some loss of tone. With my cheaper guitars, it doesn't really matter. I love your sounds...You just show here the relevance of the M13...I own one as well...Just an amazing device
;-)

octave reverb sounded awesome, delay sounds nice aswell. gotta get this pedal haha

Thanks for the review! I think God likes the sound =)
Thanks! Awesome settings and tones. Thanks for the download too! That now is my number 1 scene! Do you run any through the effects loop?
Broder, me meti en este video para ver mas ejemplos del Line 6 M13, y vi tu mensaje. Yo soy Venezolano, tambien musico Cristiano viviendo en DC. Saludos.
It looks like a great piece of gear
i think i realy like that lil amp you have there.
Definitely sounds like worship music.
of course it is bro! I used a Pod hd500 and is excellent to Praise and worship! I love it
Awesome tone!
Time for me to upgrade from my Digitech RP90 to this!
I dig it, nice tone.
Hey I was thinking about this multi effects unit or the tc electronic nova system .... I play worship music as well
I like your tone for sure... I use a new Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb Silverface 22 watts... I only turn it up to 2 1/2 and use pedals... We have a killer computerized PA with flown speakers... You've confirmed that I can likely forgo the boutique multiple individual pedal route... Thanks! Can you tell me why I can find a m13 for less than an m9 on reverb everyday when this is fuller featured?
Because its a LOT bigger, and really doesnt have that many more features. Most can get by with the m9 and prefer their own dirt pedals.
bro what amp are you using? thank you man i love it the size and everything and i love the sounds....
@faststrat5 what kind of amp is that ? I heard you say in the video what it was but couldn't quite understand. Thanks
Your playing and sound are really good sounds awesome

Has anyone tried the m13 run into a strymon iridium?
No, but I do now run my M5 (smaller version) into the Walrus Audio ACS1 (among other things) and I'm really digging it. I still love amps, but the modeling is so nice for headphones and specifically playing at church to keep stage volume down.

I don't really like warship music but I do like these tones.
Quality tones from that m13. Any experience running direct to PA through something like a sansamp blonde/brit?
No, I don't have any experience going direct to anything other than Native Instruments Guitar Rig on my computer, which has amp modeling. I use the SansAmp for bass though, and it's wonderful.
I've been wanting to get one of these to use at my church but I normally just run through the PA cold this work well going straight to the PA? I currently have a boss gt-100 but it's not really working out the way I thought it would.
I guess you could but it doesn't have amp modeling so you might want to go for the hd500 instead.

Hey! I've been using line 6 m13 for quiet sometime. Lately, few of the
foot switches are not changing in real time. Could you please help me on
this?
I've heard of that happening. Unfortunately, from what I understand, the footswitch itself is just going bad. I got my M5 modded by jhv3.com. Stulce SA-10C
Every time I try to watch the video it tells me I don't have permission? Is there something wrong with the link or do I need access?
cant seem to look at the file
thanks
Volume wise how is it? Since you have a multi it would usually take away some of your volume but how is it for you?
The modulation effects seem to have the biggest drop in volume. I suggest JHV3's mod for the M5, M9, and M13. It really cleans up the tone and adds a volume knob that you can use to boost a little on the effects that drop levels. It takes an already good versitile pedal and makes it great. jhv3.com
What set up have you moved onto since then?
Sorry, I'm super bad about checking comments on this channel! I've got a spaceship of a board, now. The bones of it is Keeley compressor > JHS double barrel > Line 6 M5 > Strymon Timeline > Walrus R1 > Walrus ACS1
can anybody tell me whats the name of his amp? i dont understand his accent at 2:19
is there a way to download sounds to your board?
Cant download. Link broken now year 2020
Fixed it. www.dropbox.com/s/ex9oekxxzyy2am2/M13%20Pdub_scene-1C.syx?dl=0

or should i say download it
how can i download the scene???? it just see lots of symbols in the link
Juan Bustamante Try this instead www.dropbox.com/s/ex9oekxxzyy2am2/M13%20Pdub_scene-1C.syx?dl=0
That should download automatically and your computer will try to open it as a txt file, but you have to use something like Sysex manager to get it to your M13
Will this work on the m9?
How do you use your stereo delay with only one amp?
What is the red amp used in this video?
That's a Stulce SA-10c.. An 8 to 10 watt combo made by Jason (?) Stulce for use for the guys that need a full sounding amp at less than 10wts. Why are you worshipping the M13? is it that good?
Bro compressors always on??

Hi. How can I setup the footswitch from right to left?
Hold the Looper Controls switch to enter setup. On LCD 3 you’ll see 1>2>3>4 under Prefs. Turn the knob to change it to 4>3>2>1.
Thank you so much for the reply! Anyway, can I ask for a scene in this video? Please. It seems like the link is not available anymore.
