Absolutely love these videos Dan. I've worked on cars in my garage for a long time, but the expertise you have from your racecars is so impressive that even a brief video like this is hugely educational for regular gearheads like us. It's rare that we get info like this without being an apprentice or working on big projects like these ourselves, so thank you! Seriously, never stop making these videos, we love them! Can't wait for the next one.

Whats up Radical Daniel! Thanks for the upload, this is a dope build, and I would love to see more of what happens in the shop! (especially the engine building room) Good luck in Texas!

Wish this car was going on drift week so we could see this car and the gs 300 with a 2jz that hert drives would be sick

It sounds like you need to basically use 2 or 3 cars for random spare parts and then you would have one car at the end up with three wrecked cars I mean in Theory. But definitely shows the amount of R&D that a company would have to go through to do the same thing from one model to the next.

So the situation would have been different if it was a IS300 or IS350 cause you specifically mentioned IS250, Captain Redundant!

Just an idea. Why not adapt electronic brake calipers from another car? Too late now, but something for the future.

    2J costs over 6k now?
I have been finding Aristo 2j's for anywhere between 3500-4500. There's no way I'd pay 6k for used engine. That's insane. The engine importers charging that much will price themselves out of business.

Question, don't they have electric Ac that can work in his car

Exactly or if they wanted to they could’ve used a condenser from a Honda or a small car with a small condenser I work in a parts store and slot of what they did could’ve been different for those of us with lower budgets like the cooling system but for their build that guy has some bread just a lot of stuff I seen could’ve been done differently

500 hp?!? All this for such little horsepower? Might as well supercharge there OEM motor
