2jz motor is a beast my son did the motor swap he put the 2jz into his 350z sheeesh it was some work almost a year it took him to finish that car on his own really fun car to drive lots of horse power these guys did a nice job on that Lexus 👍

It’s not too hard, just it’s very unwise to swap one when the 20+ grand and be sunk into a faster car.
@@sobrzy3172 my guess is over 20k, 2jz prices are stupid and just to properly single turbo a 2jz is 10k or so.
@@sobrzy3172 in my country you can get a 2jzgte for $4000 and probably another $3000 to get it swaped in and wired up, ecu master emu $1500, sell back your old motor $2000, so it not a expensive swap but its worth it!!!!
My friend had a swap 2jz, he flipped his lexus on its side around a tight turn.

How they should of come, Lexus should of never went to a V6 and they should of made more manual IS' I was hunting for a manual IS300 about a year ago and I found one in good shape but the guy didn't really want to sale it he only posted it to see what people would offer I tried giving him asking price and he didn't do it
