Thanks very much for your efforts and info on the carriage. My Concert 240 is playing at a slow speed and after all these years you've given me the confidence to have a go at repairing it.Take care and thanks again !!
That's great Larry! I hope you have a fun and successful repair.
I played a few records last night on my Satellite 200. It was also acting a bit slow. For this repair, just a little lube on the TT motor and turn table bearings fixed it right up.
It's always something. But that's what I like about vintage stuff.
Hello and thank you for the efforts you extended to educate us. Very clear and informative videos.
I have a problem with the carraige in the galaxy 200. The loading lever for the discs is always in the loading position. It seems it is connected to the main cam shaft but cann't seem to figure it out. Any pointers is highly appreaciated.
Thanks for watching the videos! I have heard there can be a common issue where the vertical clutch shaft breaks in the clutch - freezing the mechanism. Search NSM Clutch Replacement.
Hello and thank you for these good explanations how to solve problems. Now I have a small question about the plates wich hold the records. How can I straigten them out?
thanks for watching the videos. The ones on the Satellite are plastic. I would start by removing the rack and taking a good look. You may need to get a used rack if yours are damaged.
Hello, thank you for your great videos! The needle head of my NSM Hit E120 broke off, it's a Shure 17 CM, unfortunately I can't get a replacement in Germany! - do you have a replacement or can you give me tips for an alternative?
Thanks! Ebay or ask uncle Google. Check for juke parts suppliers or places that repair NSM jukes. Good luck on your search. Even a used needle that you clean up would work.
I can pick one of these jukeboxes up for 750.00 but the guy said it runs a little slow. Is it worth buying? Thanks, Dave
If you are really into jukes, mechanically mined, & like to figure things out that have little documentation then yes. But it's worth is a very personal thing. For someone who just wants a juke to have a juke then heck no - don't buy an NSM. I bought this because I wanted a challenge. I pulled out some of my hair fixing certain electronic issues.
@@PinballMayhem I love jukeboxes. I have a rockola 464 in my living room. Works great. Had it for years. Thanks for your input.
You bet! Best of luck if you get it. I love the design of the Satellite juke. Here's the into vid I made ua-cam.com/video/27oPpuOozhM/v-deo.html and here's a video I made 11 years ago on my personal channel talking about it ua-cam.com/video/zxP7K44aF50/v-deo.html and finally here's another one I made 11 years go playing a record ua-cam.com/video/YSgZ41VP-kY/v-deo.html
I noticed that when it put 190 up, it would quickly move forward a couple of spots instead of going all the way to the end then back to the other side. Was that normal or can that be corrected?
I think it depends on if that was your first selection after the juke was switched on. Just a guess. No way to change that I know of.
