II have been attempting to learn to make adjustments to and repair jukeboxes for a few years. However, I have worked exclusively on 30s-60s vacuum tube boxes. I was recently contacted by two NMS 'Prestige' owners in the same week inquiring about addressing some issues in their boxes. Your videos have been a great help to me in being able to identify some small problems and address them. Thank you for making these available. I am sure, like me, many juke box owners appreciate your time and expertise!

Help troubleshooting turn table drive motor? Will not turn. I can feel it getting power but will not spin. It will turn by hand. Where are these available? Thanks
These motors are very low power - does it spin freely - like really freely? If you need a replacement you will most likely have to go used or hit the web and search for the motor in Europe. There are a couple of large NSM repair places over there. Good luck on your repairs.
Hello...as stated below, turntable speed issue was addressed with your video. Thank you! However, a new issue arose when I put everything back together. When the carriage is searching for a record or just idling in place, there is a constant 'thumping' sound coming from the amplifier. It stops when the record is playing but begins again as soon as the mech starts searching or idling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can send you a video of the problem if that would help.
Glad the video helped you out. Question, if a record was played 5 min ago & no other selections have been made is the noise occuring? I would check for broken wires on the mech. The amp may not be muting.

While I didn't find your exact symptom I would start by going through the service manual.
