@@PinballMayhem Thanks again! I took apart the turntable motor today, cleaned it, applied new lubricant to the motor and pin and replaced the rubber band around the turntable itself. It runs perfectly at stable speed now. I had to fix one mistake I made however: The drive motor on my carriage is in a grey plastic case (which I had to remove to get the turntable motor out). The plastic case fixates the drive motor and when I reninstalled it I applied to much force to the 3 screws holding the drive motor case (and thus the motor itself). This prevented the motor from turning. Once I figured that out, I loosened the 3 bolts of the motor case a bit and all was well again.
So - let's say someone cleaned their motor and it spins great, but while I, er, he, was putting it back together, the little clip went flying and can't be found. Any idea what size that clip might be and where I, um, he can find one?
Those are called o crap clips for a reason A good hardware store might have super tiny "E-clips". I just checked Mcmaster.com and they seem to have tiny ones. Worth a check.
Both of the motors were super gummed up on mine and was able to clean them up! Thanks for the video! I can't seem to get the selector arm to stay down. is there a trick for resetting the arm?
Check out the solenoid underneath the mech. And the interaction of the lifting arm. Also check the plastic shaft that runs vertically through the mech isn't broken. Apparently that is a common problem.
The type of oil you use isn't super important. Mobil 1 synthetic oil should be good. It's just that a oil that has paraffin will get gummy after awhile. Regular maintenance and lubrication will keep your juke working for generations.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, and to keep these machines working
Thank you so much. This was very helpful for me to fix mine 🤩🎶
Thank you so much for the great news! I'm glad your machine is now fixed
Great video! That pin was tough to get out. Thanks for sharing
You bet it was! I cut at least 15 min of footage while I was messing around with the soldering iron 😅
Very cool video! I love diving into how things work. It’s amazing to look at how this piece was assembled along with how it works.
Yep, they took what Seeburg had and put their own spin on it. It works well but it's not as heavy duty as Seeburg's.
Great job.
Thank you. I cut at least 15 min of video while I struggled with that pin.
Thanks for the video! Just working on an NSM and this is the first video which shows how to remove the turntable motor. Great stuff.
You're most welcome. I'm glad you liked the video. I hope the pin removal on your mech goes easier lol

Congrats on a successful repair ❤️

Hi ! can you suggest a alternative to 3in1 oil which I cant find over here ? Tks
