The echo in the dark seem to be a reference for aesop beeing underground. Demo applied science seems to expand on that idea BC he uses the most complex and fresh ryhme schemes.
Think the whole last part of the song is him telling us how badass he is.

_Top notch gore set to Bach over foghorns_
He may be just painting a picture here - he's into shlock movies and such, and that just sounds to me like a scene from one of those, with a soundtrack of foghorns mixed over Bach. It's like a feeling. Very appropriate that this song has a video of his drawings. Man draws with pencils and paints with lyrics.

I also think it could be another call back to ancient Rome and events in the coliseum that tended to be brutal. Since its proceeded by "we take it where the warlocks lock horns, soda pop popcorn" I assume its a way of saying he's still old school while still being badass, more maybe also into horror and shock content like you said

Since you like Aesop so much, there is a song I highly recommend. It's one of the more straightforward songs, where you know exactly what he's rapping about, so I'm not sure if it fits with your approach, but it's a masterpiece none the less. It always makes me cry, and by the comments on it, I'm not the only one by any stretch. It's also very short, ~1 minute of rapping. Song name is *Ruby '81*

"Redeemed" could be also taken as if a coupon; a gimmick of commercialism. Kinda supports a theme of something in the nature of maybe artistic integrity.

"We take it where the warlocks lock horns Soda pop popcorn Top notch gore set to Bach over foghorns"
I dunno that there's much to look for there. As you said the first bar sounds to allude generally to going where there's conflict; "we take it [there]" right into snacks, like being at a movie theater, watching the show, the conflict is entertainment [a little bread a little circus], "top notch gore set to Bach" either doubling down on the sarcastic entertainment out of things like conflict and calling it something that would fit the harmonies of Bach, or maybe specifically calling it high grade entertainment, Bach being a musician who has lasted for generations, if you set Bach to a piece of media you may well be trying to call it "worthy of Bach" to be blunt [top notch gore]
As for Bach over foghorns, I'm less confident. I assume that just keeps in mind the chaos of it all. Bach over foghorns. Grating to listen to. Like, enjoy the show but then with a cynical realism seeping into the sarcasm. Bach over foghorns. Like saying "enjoy the show" at the chaos, but with the extra sarcasm of "aaah, Bach over foghorns, isn't it beautiful". You couldn't even just sarcastically look at the chaos and say "just like Bach", you couldn't get it out without taking that extra chance to make sure everybody knows you're not serious "just like Bach over foghorns". It's so chaotic even the soundtrack is Bach with foghorns blaring in the back. I dunno, something like that. Again, less confident about the foghorns bit xp

from my perspective the demo applied science line might be in terms of demolishing applied sciences. I know he writes about the grey areas between science and fiction quite a bit. similar to the lines in “all the smartest people.” “science aint the only player in the network.”
also the tip the ladle back reminded me of people “stirring up the pot” then getting to know one another after the chaos.
i can hear something new every listen though lol

I'd like to hear what you think about water tower or jumping coffin, but he's a very straight forward rapper IF YOU UNDERSTAND the words, most people don't even speak the language or find themselves running to a dictionary constantly, I met him and El-P back on '00,he's the greatest emcee to ever grace a microphone, but remember, its also all up to interpretation, and, have you ever just..asked? what he's rapping about, he's at MIT.. email him..

For me the message of this song is generally about not fitting in the popular rap game, and thinking the royalty of rap or all the big names are trash and fake. He's generally out of touch with the popular scene, thinks it's boring and could roll in whenever he wants to out rap any of the "royalty" in the game and it would be easy. "on an other wise slow day, this is how row into the rogue wave"
I always felt the "tip the ladle back" was a reference to the previous line where he mentions "ten thousand maniacs in yankee caps". I think a cap is almost the shape of a ladle, and by switching the hat from front facing to wearing it backwards would look like inverting the ladle and "tipping it back". Although, if that was the case, I don't really understand the significance of it. It may just be a play on words with no real meaning, or I may just be seeing something that really isn't there. Maybe it's to say he fits in with the regular crowd of people who wear their hats backwards.
"tsk tsk I don't really wiggle with invertebrates ... offsides toss thine merch in the urinal, it's nothing personal" - he's offsides in the popular rap game, doesn't think big rappers have a back bone and just pander to popularity, he doesn't give a shit about their music and throws their merch in the urinal.
"top notch gore set to Bach over foghorns" - Felt like he's mentioning how a lot of the modern rappers will use classic legendary beats and add the "foghorn" noise to try and make it their own. Saying it's top notch gore is like they ruin it. It makes me think a lot of Dorks when he says "you can't be cooler than the corners where you source all your parts".
I could be totally wrong, this is one of those Aesop songs where I never really sat down to think and analyze. I've just let it play and enjoyed it without thinking too much about it.
Still hoping you get around to Pigs some day. One of his more straightforward songs but I love the message.

I forgot who he interviewed with but, supposedly this song is just like him floating out to sea on a boat and being lost... You know what, I'm probably fucking it up, but, he's on a boat and these thoughts are just swirling around him or something.

The demo applied science thing, by that point in this video my brain had broken open like 12 different times on at least six different levels, so I can't even begin to explain the (possibly too far gone) places my head went, but tldr (if I can manage it), I think that just ties back into the echo location scheme across some of his songs and the theme of his music being..... like helping you find a method in the madness. An echo in the dark, the echo being the reflection, the signal that something is there, he's an echo in the dark, someone you can find "in the impregnable fog", who demos applied science. I mean....... Ugh...... This is so not tldr...... Uuuh so by one denotation, science just means how things work. If you're demoing applied science, you could be showing how to make use of the knowledge of how things work.
