I remember walking down the street eight years ago and suddenly this song came on. During the second chorus, I stopped in the middle of the street, looked up and watched the snow fall on my face, it melted and mingled with my tears. I was incredibly moved by that song.
Now there is no snow in my sky, but you can see Iranian drones and Russian missiles flying in it, the sky has really become iron...
In the song he sings that nothing can give you a power, but why does this song give me so much power and confidence that everything will be okay and liberty will never perish?.

I'm English and I haven't heard him on the radio since his first album but I discovered his later stuff a couple years back and my god that third album is another level. He's gone dark since 2014 tho, I wonder what he's up to.
Danish person here, and I have never underrated him. But I definitely agree, that he is WAY underrated in general. I loved him from the first time I heard his first album, even saw him live. My first teen celeb crush and SO sad that we havent heard new music in so many years. WE NEED HIM TO MAKE NEW MUSIC!!

I'am from Argentina. I love Paolo since 2006/2007. He Is one of a kind.
this song has so much depth it's almost unreal. if it were released in the 70s, 80s or even 90s it would now be considered an iconic soul or R&b classic; and his career in the U.S. would've been massively huge. unfortunately songs with this much depth, meaning, and artistry just don't reach people the way they should or used to in the past. it's almost like we're too hardened in our ways to allow these sentiments expressed to reach us in the ways that matter.
It touches those it's meant to king. I'm honoured to be one 💙🦋

I first saw Paolo Nutini in some hole in the wall in London when he was around 18. This skinny kid with floppy hair came onto the little stage, opened his mouth and just blew everyone away! I moved back to NYC around the time he released his first album but every time he plays stateside, I drag all my friends to hear him. I think he's so under rated!
He's very much a hidden gem as far as the States go... it's very rare that I meet anyone stateside who knows who he is, and I've been listening to him for years now... since I heard Last Request and Found the Sunny Side Up album. Yet, it's still rare to find someone here who knows of him . It's crazy.
Yes, it is unbelievable but he had that same soulful unique voice as a kid. He really is top class.

He's sensational, I was never, and probably still not what you'd call a 'Fan' but this song is on another stratosphere when it comes to quality and composition.

This song just transports you to your soul. Every note is perfect, musically it is perfect and you can literally hear every single individual sound from the band and backing singers. So appropriate for these times. This is genuinely one of the best and emotional all round live performances I have heard. Paolo Nuttini is one of the most talented and criminally underrated singer songwriters of his generation.

There is so much going on and so many guises and styles and depths to the music. The lyrics have soul and meaning and he lives every song he performs. This guy is soooo unique and special. I remember hearing his song Last Request what feels like 20 years ago...it was a big hit.....then I never heard him again. This is fantastic. I need to see what hes been up to.
I want him to come back and just headline a festival because I would definitely buy tickets just to see him. Unreal voice - best out there in my opinion on just raw talent. In his own Lane - no one sounds like him!

Great to see Paulo back recently after what looked like a long time being distracted by beer and bong. His latest shows he still has the great voice. I sat up straight when first seeing him on Jools Holland live version of 'Last request' (just find it....it's breathtakingly beautiful). Glasgow Scotland giving in spades again. 'Jenny don't be hasty' and 'Rewind' from the first album are also gold.

I have to say that i have NEVER, ever seen more girls in love with a singer than Paolo Nutini. If you search Paolo meetings fans or the comments girls leave n his videos, I have yet to find another singer that MOVES the female energy like Paolo does. As a man, I have nothing but respect for him.

That's a beauty as well. Paolo was only 19 in that Last Request video from 2006 Jools Holland. Any of his performances from Jools are top notch. No Other Way is fantastic from 2014 Jools.

That was my exact reaction the first time I listen to him and it was this year!, his voice is CHARGED with soul, and his persona, full of passion. I remember going to see Paolo live in a small bar in Camden, North London, just before his first record came out. Think I dragged my brother along with me. Must have been around 15 years ago now. His voice was amazing then. Always felt he never quite got the recognition he deserved.

I'm a massive, huge fan of Paolo (probably the biggest in the world 😜) and went to his gigs whenever it was possible. I know that sounds selfish but most of these gigs were small venues and I was happy that he wasn't so famous to the mainstream. I always was in the first row and got the feeling to be part of the band. These guys are all brilliant and I can't wait 🙏 for the new stuff and new gigs. I'll be there 💃❤️

I heard this song for the first time today in the car and I was blown away by the beauty of this song and his voice!!! Such Passion, such deep intens soul, INSANE! As I came home I listened to it 3 times on a row and then listened to his album on Spotify, he has such a broad genre, amazingly beautiful. This song is true art, a masterpiece, the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my entire life. And I've already decided that I want this played on my funeral!
