Home Free is deep dive worthy. They're an amazing group. Welcome to the rabbit hole.
They are friggin terrific.
If you want to hear the bass singer singing deep, try Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust (Home Free), it will knock your socks off. Also a capella. Please react to it! I’d love to see..
Or Folsom prison blues
There is another Bass/Baritone singer, Geoff Castellucci also from another Acapella group, Voiceplay does his cover of Misty Mountain Cold. All groups in Acapella: Home Free, Pentatonix, and Voiceplay are excellent! This song is from Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey.
@@MrTech226 Oh NO! The song is from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit. Peter Jackson had nothing to do with it.....he just made a movie.
@@LadyDragonsblood I mean, the melody used was made for this movie. So lyrics were written by Tolkien, but not the music
or helplessly hoping
You need to listen to Home Free singing “When a man loves a Woman” and then hear them singing “End of the Road”. You love them
I second these recommendations.
Austin absolutely kills “When a Man Loves a Woman” and Rob shines in "End of the Road."
Also... Do You Hear What I Hear?... There is SO MUCH going on in their (actually, Adam Rupp's) arrangement. That one is my favorite of all of their covers... And listen to their version of Cam's Mayday. Edit: Oh! And don't forget "The Butts Remix".
@@GopherBaroque61 she is not ready for Mayday, she will have to listen to more songs, and get to know the guys and their musical position within the group. If she listens to Mayday too soon she won't get the surprise within the song. Do you agree?
@@Tribblepuppy ... I agree. She ain't ready for "Mayday" but I don't think she is ready for "When a Man Loves a Woman," either. She is liable to pass out.
Damn Tim Foust. Every time he opens his mouth he causes the same reaction in our ladies.
“They’re gonna have me cursing…”
That cracked me up and your reactions and facial expressions throughout the song were gold!
Tim Foust is the bass of the group. His vocal range is 5 octaves, which is incredible. He sounds just as good singing as a tenor.
Geoff Castellucci of Voiceplay has same vocal range as Tim Foust. I believed that all of them can be featured in other groups.
Home Free does Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" with Pentatonix's Bass singer, Avi Kaplan. Tim Foust drops one of his lowest notes ever, at the end, but also shows his highs during the song, Tim Foust - Vocal Range (G0 - A5). There's also camera phone footage floating around out there from concerts where his voice vibrates the phone.
@@lonnieadams7841 wait till u hear it live in person......i felt my seat move
@@newcod69 saw a phone recording once where the video went blurry every time he sand due to it's vibrating.
He's got his own gravity well 😳
You have found an amazing acapella rabbit hole with Home Free.
"When a man loves a woman" Home Free version INCREDIBLE!!!!
Home Free never Fails, keep them coming.
The call his 'harmonica' the No-Monica. It's truly amazing.
Every time I see some one witness this group for the first time I get so much joy. When realizing that they are making that music naturally without instruments other than their God given talents. I can't help but smile.
Oh Brother Where Art Thou is essentially Homer's Odyssey set in Depression era U.S.A. There's a Cyclops, some sirens, a hero that's believed by some to be dead on a quest to get back home to his girl Penny (Penelope whatever), a seer... You should check it out.
Welcome to the magical voice of Tim Foust. He can and will blow out speakers.
Home Free's best video. And Tim Foust? Yeah, he sits a floor below the basement with his bass voice!
And note, after Tim's solo he drops a full octave lower when he harmonizes with the rest of the group. :-)
Just an FYI, Dylan wasn’t the original. It was first recorded in 1927 (published in 1913) there are a bunch of people that recorded it. It has an interesting history if you’re into that kind of thing. Definitely worth the research if you are a music nerd like me.
I could look at that smile all day long ….
Thank you for showing love through music for the people who have been labeled “devils” and blamed for all sorrow and pain. You’re a beautiful soul in a world of negativity.
I want this version of the song to NEVER end 😃 I keep replaying it (along with Ring of Fire) 🤙 Aloha!
Literally every moment is special
The only thing I enjoy more then listening to this group is watching your lovely facial reactions to their performance!!! cheers from Canada
RR, the lead singer is Mr. Austin Brown, a learned opera singer and high tenor. The gent in the overall is Rob Lunquist is the bariton. The deep voice is Mr. Tim Foust with one of the deepest voice in music industries (people i said ONE OFF) . He has a huge Range from low tenor to deep bass. The gent with the "grass harp" and beard is Mr. Adam Chance who is bariton to bass. Finally there is Mr. Adam Rupp, co founder of Home Free and beatboxer par excellence. All this Gentlemen are kind and caring souls and you often will find songs about what is wrong in this world, but they are also a funny bunch. Please stay save and healthy, German greetings
The sound in the beginning was based on a didgeridoo. I love the feel it gives to the opening.
Home free " go rest high on that mountain" great song
Great reaction beautiful lady awesome group
That bass gave me goosebumps...
Great a capella groups include Home Free, Voice Play, Pentatonix, Voctave, and Peter Hollens (who often features other singers on his channel). All of these "groups" and individual are extremely talented and worth listening to. They all have a pretty large body of work to choose from and none of them are "bad".
***Every time I watch this video, I feel I need a pregnancy test, & I am 60!!!*** LOL 😂😂😂
Nice reaction. The joy on your face.
Go Rest High On That Mountain. Great song to check out by them.❤️
These guys are amazing in concert. They are predominantly country but cover nearly every genre. I love "Mayday," "Helplessly Hoping," and "Try Everything." Come be a Home Fry with us!
Helplessly Hoping is soooo good!
@@nzlemming I think it is absolutely flawless (except I wish it were longer)!
The boys can sang.... They cover some of the great classic blues .
There's that bass you were looking for... Great groove!
No harmonica. He’s straight beatboxing. Dude is is amazinigly talented. No instruments. It’s all by their voices
The guy who does the beat box thing eats a drum set for breakfast every morning. Facts!
No instruments. All done with voices. Even the harmonica sound. And if you liked this, you HAVE to do their Butts Remix and End of the Road. Honestly, anything Home Free does is gold.
If you're looking for more amazing acapella, check out Pentatonix - Sound of Silence, Daft Punk Medley, Bohemian Rhapsody...and pretty much everything else that comes out of their mouths.
Citizen Queen is an all-girl version of Pentatonix, on tour with them last I heard, and their Evolution Of Girl Groups is a lot of fun.
Wait...that was throat singing? It sounded like a didgeridoo. Amazing!
I love coming to your channel. Your smile will put a smile on my face every time. Please give a listen to Home Free - How Great Thou Art. The setting for this video is breathtaking and their vocals are angelic.
Damn! RogueRxyce is the epitome of Breath Taking Beautiful.
welcome to the world of homefree it's a huge rabbit hole they have over 150 videos enjoy
Home Free is an amazing group of vocalists. They do some amazing covers that a lot of artists wouldn't attempt. They have that perfect mix of harmony and individuality within the group. This song was written by Dick Burnett with it's most well known version performed by The Stanley Brothers. A true classic from the Bluegrass genre.
A long time ago I was skipping threw channels and ran over the CMC. Knew nothing of the movie and never heard any of the songs. Stopped for a second and thought to myself, Country has gotten as strange as MTV. Some time later I put 2 and 2 together and watched the movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou and fell in love with the music and film
SERIOUSLY! if there is ever a contest for the most beautiful smile on youtube... You win! You all day.
This is the first song I heard Home Free do, a bit over a year ago, and I've been a Home Fry since. They just keep getting better with each new song. Fun reaction! ✌️😎
Same here. I'd never heard Home Free before and this came up on my "recommended" You Tube list so thought "What the heck". I've been a Home Fry since. I've listened (more than once) to just about everything they've got on You Tube.
Fans are Home Fries,, and we are rabid and many!! Some of Home Free's best songs/videos (at least, my favorites): In the Blood, Folsom Prison Blues, My Church, Butts Remix, Helplessly Hoping, Dive Bar Saints, Catch Me if You Can, Sea Shanty Medley, Never Gonna Give You Up, Hillbilly Bone, Blue Ain't Your Color, Mayday (but DON'T do Mayday until you know their voices). I can also strongly recommend a group called Voice Play: favorites are Warriors, Eleanor Rigby, Carry On, Wayward Son, Butter, We're Good, You're My Best Friend. They also do the Oogie Boogie Song from Nightmare Before Christmas. And it's crazy good! Their bass, Geoff Castellucci, is a one in a million talent.
I just love to hear talented musicians no matter the type or era of music you just can't argue with real talent. It is still difficult to know there are no instruments at all. Just combinations of the members doing the instruments as well as Adam who is the beat box. Just amazing.
Home Free singing “When a man loves a Woman
Home Free, END OF THE ROAD cover of Boy's To Men.🔥💯
The long haired guy is the main bass , But the guy with the hat by the post sang bass in a previous group but here sings mostly baritone. The talent is absurd in this group !!
I am so very glad that you've discovered Home Free. I am also certain that you will be come an avid 'Home Fry!' Though they are considered a country styled group, they are so talented that they can perform many genres with equal aplomb. Yours to discover... Enjoy!
Yes, Home Free can do anything from country to pop to religious hymn (I suggest "How Great Thou Art") and everything in between. I keep waiting for them to do something classical--like Mozart. I think they'd kill it. And introduce a whole new generation of folks to classical music.
Yes !!! I love home free, but I didn't know that cover, so thank you very much love
Awesome glad your trying homfree
Wow! Don’t know what I liked more. Listening to these country boys or watching you jam to it. Love your channel and you’re such a breath of fresh air. God bless
Love your facial expressions as you listening to this song
Man of Constant Sorrow is a traditional American folk song written by Dick Burnett, a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky. He gave the song the name "Farewell Song" around 1913. It was later recorded by Emry Arthur in 1928, who gave the song its current name.
Did you just fall in love with the deep bass man?
They are amazing...really amazing. You pretty much cant' miss whatever you choose to listen to by them. They honestly did one of the best, if not the best cover of End of the Road in existence.
End of the road is one of my all time favorite rendition they do of it. Snow globe is amazing too and as well as when a man loves a woman
That guy with the low voice gives a whole new definition to “Bass”!
Nah. He's a basso profundo.
@@AllHailSp00nRiver whatever he is, he does it soooooo well!
Hello gorgeous lady. You have a great smile as well. Be happy. Sometimes it’s a challenge but attainable.
Absolutely brilliant and I loved your reaction thank you
You should try listening to Home Free “Burning Ring of Fire” with Avi Kaplan...
Sorry!!
Interesting you and @donnie Ross made the same spelling mistakes....quite interesting...it's Ring OF Fire and its Avi Kaplan
"Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash? Cover?
Same group, just featuring the former Bass vocalist from Pentatonix. Just saying.
It's also not a spelling bee or competition. Give it a rest. It's a reaction to music, vocal, covers of songs. Give it a break from the criticism.
@@jindas4217 You don't have to be butthurt about a simple correction. Of instead of If and K instead of C. Don't wanna be corrected, don't make the mistake..
I have to watch every video three times. First one is strictly for the video second is to watch your reaction to the video and third was to to watch the joy on your face from the video. Your reactions are so wholesome and real. Thank you.
This is one of my favorite songs that Home Free has done. Between the main singer in this one (Austin), the bass (Tim), and Rob (with the beard), it makes it hard to pick a favorite singer. My other favorite of theirs is Elvira, featuring the Oak Ridge Boys (the song's original singers).
First time hearing them !
This song is a fav of mine and they did great job !
“When a man loves a Woman” Austin lead singer slays that one. These guys are so much fun. Also "Ring of Fire" It features Avi Kaplan (bass from Pentatonix) with Tim Faust (bass here) Totally awesome. Great Reaction! Pentatonix new 90's Dance Medley is super good as well.
So Satisfying!!!
Everytime they come to our city I have tickets because seeing them in person is awesome!!!
Home Free is Amazing. If you really want to hear Austin ( the front man here ) belt one out, check out their cover of, When A Man Loves A Woman. Great reaction.
wow..the deep voice gave me goosebumps...loved your reactions..
It is from the 1800s but wikipedia says: Man of Constant Sorrow" (also known as "I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow") is a traditional American folk song first published by Dick Burnett, a partially blind fiddler from Kentucky. The song was originally titled "Farewell Song" in a songbook by Burnett dated to around 1913. An early version was recorded by Emry Arthur in 1928, which gave the song its current titles.
I just love them.
Skills! That is THE word for these gentlemen. Yes, they have many videos of their music you may enjoy.

O Brother Where Art Thou is a fun movie, if you like Homer's Odyssey, and want to see it repackaged as very Southern.
Great to see such joy as you listen. When Tim comes in with that low low verse, I think ever girl and most guys are with you.... "yeah, perfect."
Love that you listen, groove then comment with minimal interruption. Some stop action commentary is always merited, but not to steer us away from the art of listening and enjoying the performance with you. Thank you, thank you for the happy groove and spot-on remarks!
Great performance, enjoyed it very much. :)
Girl! Home Free is absolutely phenomenal! It's a deep rabbit hole and once you start down it you won't ever want to get out! I agree with the other suggestion of " MISTY MOUNTAINS" Peter Hollens and Tim Foust bass for Home Free! Hold on to your chair for that one! " "End of the ROAD' Boyz2Men cover," WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN' Percy Sledge cover,""ADAM RUPP LIVE IN CONCERT" apprx 2018 for some beatboxing and vocal percussions! Shows how they get their " instrument sounds". All of the guys can beatbox but Sf is the main member of the group to do it. Also" HILLBILLY BONE", "SOLD", "BLUE AIN'T YOUR COLOR", FOLSOM PRISON BLUE'S" Johnny Cash cover, and for a little surprise about Tim the bass singer try "MAYDAY'," TALKING OUT LOUD/ LET'S GET IT ON" Ed Sheeran and Marvin Gaye cover, "In the Blood" John Mayer cover and"Snow Globe", yes I know it's not Christmas time! This will get you started but please continue with Home Free! There are thousands of us Home Fries that will subscribe

Oh man, what a treat! It baffles me what people can do with their voices and the instruments they have hidden in their mouths, when I have no singing talent whatsoever. Not fair, is it? I truly enjoyed watching you taking this all in!
not fair at all!
Also sung by Dr Ralph Stanley.
Love the reaction. Very professional. Home Free has over150+ songs and they're all great. Try their cover of Boyz 2 Men "End of the Road" It'll blow your mind.
Not a Bob Dylan song. He's only one of many who have covered it. This song has been around about 100 years.
I had never listened to them. This was the first time and only because of you. Thanks!!!
Everything they do is awesome. A lot of the songs I have downloaded are their covers. And the guy with the harmonica he makes all of the sounds with his throat. Definitely talented. His drum solos are amazing
I've seen a ton of reactions to this song. You are flat-out lovely!
Always love to see first reactions to Home Free--especially this song! They all are amazing, but Tim Faust, the bass and Adam Rupp, the beatboxer are amazing. You hardly have to say anthing-- your reaction is so clear and fun to read right on your face--love it!!!
Acapella is 1 thing but the guy doing sound affects is awsome. How many of u thought he had a hamonica?
Ms RR, you choose so many winners to present. Yes she may win when she presents. Sorry, couldn't resist. You are a hot mess, in the most beautiful sort of way/experience. Thanks for your efforts that bring serious joy.
not the first time i've been called a hot mess 🤣🙈 thank you? 🙃
A cappella has been brought into the 21st century with the addition of beatboxers, imo. Arguably, the 3 top atm are Home Free, Voiceplay, and Pentatonix in no particular order. All are deep rabbit holes and will blow you away and take up a fair amount of time. Welcome! edit: I saw you did Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen...you should check out the version Pentatonix put out for a comparison.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole.
I have always been impressed by accapella singers, but never a fan. Then this group shows up in my feed ... I've tried to dig myself up from the Home Fries hole, but then there is something else that pops up... sigh... I am stuck...
Why try to "free" yourself? I'm hopelessly hooked and I'm lovin' it
a Man of Constant sorrow, Sawyer Fredericks, the voice ;)
Really enjoyed this episode--I learned a new version! Thank you for showcasing this excellent performance!
These guys do some amazing cover songs! Much more uplifting than my last request! 😉 Love to see those emotions that you wear on your sleeve! Whether your laughing or crying! You're great Rogue! 🎶🎸💖
😂 both songs were great but this was deeeefinitely much more uplifting! hahah i've been hoping to get more songs that i could groove to and this was a VIBE! thank you 😊🙌🏽
@@RogueRxyce Although it was hard for you to get through, Fire Away is one of your most viewed videos with almost a quarter million vews! 😁👍 Not too shabby! You're a 🌟 STAR 🌟!
They do an excellent job on any song they present however you should really hear their cover of "In the blood", "How great thou art", "Butts remix", "Children go where I send thee" with Kenny Rogers or "American Pie" with the writer/composer and original artist Don McLean. Another group if you like movie songs is Voice Play. Their "Moana" and "Little Mermaid" mix is excellent. Pentatonix is, of course, excellent and the fun thing about all three groups is that they know and collaborate on each others projects.
The song was originally recorded by the Stanley Brothers in May 1951
Here come the Home Fries (Home Free fans). 🤩😎
I've got my fries ready! 🍟
Nice reaction! Please react to their cover of “When a Man Loves a Woman”!
RR so happy you decided to react to Home Free. I know you like to react to old classics, and HF is excellent at doing covers of classic songs. You really need to react to their version of the Percy Sledge classic When A Man Loves A Woman, also they recently collaborated with Don Mclean with his classic American Pie, the Oak Ridge Boys, Elvira, and you really can't miss their cover of Boys 2 Men's End Of The Road to name just a few. I just subbed. Welcome to the World of Home Free.
Tim Foust, dropping notes and making knees weak lol. Your face when he started singing...priceless.
🤣🙈
The bass singer is Tim Foust. Our King of the smolder and most cherished national treasure.
You need to hear Adam Rupp ( beatboxer ) do a drum solo.
Brilliant review, 👍❤️
Try fulsome prison blues 😁
Incredibly talented singers.. and as always your fabulous reactions..... amazing... thank you Rogue..... !!!!
