Amazing the driver survived this. Some poor folks have lost their furniture. Looks like a mattress was still strapped to the wall with furniture covers strung about. Good job retrieving that mess.
This is why you and your team are the best. That was a smooth recovery. Hopefully CHP will remember who drove away and who tackled the job flawlessly. Your father is a great guy and I’m sure he’s very proud. Great job guys 💪👍
The other operators are going to come in on Monday, see that mess, and say "I have GOT to hear about this one. Looks like you guys had fun over the weekend.
4 other companies didn't want anything to do with it. You, Alex and your dad show up and make it look easy. Doesn't hurt having Big Flipper and Hulk for the heavy lifting! The first thing I thought when you showed the wrecked truck was, exactly what you did. Pull it up like it is and drop it upside down on a Landoll. Roll it in your yard later. This video is Pepe's EXCELLENCE at it's very best!!!! Take care, my friend, and be *safe*!!
I have to admit you guys get some of the most interesting and toughest jobs. I like the way you describe what you are doing so us interested people understand.
Anything Josh does anymore doesn't surprise me,he just figures out how it's gonna be done and does it. Really nice team work and great job on the recovery.
WOW!!! As mangled as the box ended up I think it's what saved the cab from going over like the box did...That driver is super lucky that cab held up as well as it did. it appears that the LF tire blew possibly...hopefully it wasn't human error and the driver makes a full recovery. A great video from lotsa angles...and taking the casualty over your trucks...rapidly...teamwork!!
Never seen a box truck converted to a flatbed before. I'm not sure which would have been more hilarious to see, the truck upside down on the Landoll like this, or if you had flipped it over and front towed it squashed. And that was a really slick maneuver to pass it between the trucks to get it loaded.
It's OK that you don't know about the frogs - you don't get out into the underbrush too much. The rains probably brought the frogs out. They are good food for the coyotes and mountain lions.
Excellent job, with great coordination between you and Alex to pass the wreckage over the top of the trucks! @21:45 when the section of the box truck top dropped onto the Landoll, that could have easily dropped on top of Hulk instead. Real lucky there.
Another fantastic video and recovery Sir. Josh! I can't help but laugh - if this was here in the UK the Highways Agency would shut off the entire motorway (highway). You guys are masters at your craft and your Dad could reverse anything 😎💪🏼⛓🪝
I find my self comenting more than I ever have before. What a job! How simple it looked, all the strategy hidden and the coordination between yourself and Alex was great. All through the lift if found myself wondering what you would do with it, then what was CHP and CALTRAN going to do, red tape, rules, but everything fell in place. Thanks again for a great video.
An interesting recovery, and amazing that the driver was not injured. Could you do a video sometime showing us all of your different recovery equipment?
2 rotators out on call together must make quick work of the gnarliest crashes and mishaps compared to arriving with a 20 ton and calling for more wreckers.
Absolutely! You'll notice in all my videos how fast we knock out even the most complicated wrecks. Two rotators on any given scene allows us to work so much more efficiently to clear a scene.
Hey Josh & Alex !!! Great job of working together to get that up the hill & loaded on the Landoll !! Great backing by ""DAD"" too !! Video was brilliant !! 🙃😉🤔🙄👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
superb job positioning! Thought for 2 sec only, turn it over? nope it would break away more good physics invilved.. Pepe you dudes are superb.. fantastic to watch from a safe distance. Query, in this very awkward site, who gets to bring up the thrown items from truck ? curious as heck ! This type of site shows how awkward things can be.. superior thinking!
Amazes me the lights on that wreck are still lit. Conservative approach of old age, I would have re-rigged to avoid lifting across the trucks. Too much chance of something falling off that wreck and hurting a rotator for me😂. Thanks & stay safe out there Josh!
That is one hell of a recovery and one hell of Great strategic maneuvering of a recovered vehicle, truck. U guys r great at what u do. Thars y I always enjoy watching ur recoveries🤙🤙🤙🤙
That is how you do the impossible jobs! And next time-they just call you from the get-go....Midnight/Sat. night--your Dad is right out there in the mix--the owner, still getting it done--that is what makes a great company.
I guess the box truck was the real "Big Flipper". I saw a bunch of moving blankets in the back so maybe it was some fly by night moving company. Good job getting it up and then over to the landall. Stay safe.
that was pretty cool rotation onto the trailer. also I found it amusing that lights on the box truck were still working lol. man I would love to see an equipment/yard tour sometime.
Wow, I don’t know who packed that truck but those straps holding the boxes to the walls held through far, far more than they were likely ever designed for…
The water goes Somewhere Josh this is one of the wetland areas in la although Few and Far Between and Frogs always find a wet area to have their babies and well done on the recovery
Always a Impressive site seeing those Bad Boys working in Tandem , that box piece that fell was good timing onto the Landau and not Mid Flight over the Taters. How Many Heavies you got in Total ?
Nice job by Pepe's. Question for you. I note your yard is surrounded by residential houses/apartments, do you ever get noise complaints when you are moving equipment around at night? Guessing your yard was there before most of the houses.
One good thing... the driver actually tied his load in which makes the recovery so much easier for you guys. That driver was very lucky.. it would be interesting to know how it happened.
😎great work! I am always wondering what is the owner company deciding to do with such a wreck? Even if they want to rebuild it, they can’t move it from your yard, without dismantling the rest of the box. So are there normally ordered scrapping companies by the costumer and they dismantle such a wreck in your yard? Or how is the end of such a wreck? Just out of my interest. Sorry for my not so perfect English i am from 🇭🇺
The towing Co. is going to deliver to wherever the customer directs them to. Then that Co. will use their own equipment to unload it, flip it, then cut the sidewalls off to see what they have got to work with. From what I could tell, the frame, engine, and driveline do not look un-repairable.
Amazing the driver survived this. Some poor folks have lost their furniture. Looks like a mattress was still strapped to the wall with furniture covers strung about. Good job retrieving that mess.

That was an incredibly lift. Then to dance it over your rigs and place on the flatbed....Impressive!!! Stay Safe,

Every new video amazes even more than the last. Nothing y'all can't do.

Now that was a very, very cool recovery. The three of you guys work so well together, great teamwork.
Such bad ass recoveries without whining about all the drama/danger every job has. 👍🏻

Unbelievable to flip a load box truck.... and slide down a hillside and the driver survived that is impressive. Amazing video Josh, Keep em coming :)

Certainly 😮 Dropping it on the top of your rig would have been disastrous
Another fantastic video and recovery Sir. Josh! I can't help but laugh - if this was here in the UK the Highways Agency would shut off the entire motorway (highway). You guys are masters at your craft and your Dad could reverse anything 😎💪🏼⛓🪝
That rotation over the top was sick.. Teamwork.
Upside down No Box - Box truck... LOL Good to see your Dad too Josh...! nice work guys...!
Well done on the recovery! Cannot believe they survived that, but I guess the cabin does look sturdy enough.
I find my self comenting more than I ever have before. What a job! How simple it looked, all the strategy hidden and the coordination between yourself and Alex was great. Mr Josh Another awesome recovery. Thanks for sharing and stay safe
"Peed themselves and left" 😂😂😂 God bless you guys for all the hard work yall do! 💪

Incredible coordination!
Your all so talented and humorous! I love watching this channel!
Nice work. I'm sure that was a scary crash. It looked like one on the tires blew. I hope the driver was not hurt too badly.

That was definitely sweet team work to move that truck in-between t72 rotators and on the landall
Always up for a video. Thanks!
Love to see folks work smart, not hard.
that was a cool neat recovery🙀🙀🔥🔥 that driver must have had one heck of a ride and a guardian from up high to have survived 💗💗😸😸
You guys do AMAZING work!!!😎😎😎

How many alternators and batteries are on The Hulk???? That thing has more lights than the small town I grew up in!!
Always a Impressive site seeing those Bad Boys working in Tandem , that box piece that fell was good timing onto the Landau and not Mid Flight over the Taters.
How Many Heavies you got in Total ?
If I was 30 years younger I'd ask you for a job as you guys have so much fun....
Oh I have a blast as you can tell! Absolutely love what we do
Nice job by Pepe's.
Question for you. I note your yard is surrounded by residential houses/apartments, do you ever get noise complaints when you are moving equipment around at night?
Guessing your yard was there before most of the houses.
L A doesn't have frogs, they were being smuggled in the truck! [L O L]
Yes it does snow is SoCal. Back in the mid 60s when I lived in Redlands in snowed one winter.
One good thing... the driver actually tied his load in which makes the recovery so much easier for you guys. That driver was very lucky.. it would be interesting to know how it happened.
Not Dad's first rodeo...super cool
Frogs 🐸 gave a standing ovation
😎great work!
