From Florida based heavy rescue, Pepe's is a class act. I knew it the first time he opened a side box. Everything has a place, and everything is in it's place.
I agree on the “catch” a lot of ppl let it slam down but you want to prevent further damage if poss..should’ve had Alex on the front side to help guide 🤘🏼
Nice mix of both cameras to capture the set up as well as giving different angles of the roll over and lift of the container. Scary that trucks can drive off without locking the container down.
VERY cool video!! Very cool that you and Alex both filmed it. Makes for some really good perspective. A little rough landing for the tractor but, at least it did not slam all the way over. I say job well done!! Take care and be safe out there!!
Awesome Recovery --- I enjoyed this one much more than the others. The Strain Gauges allowed precision control, and setting it down on the trailer again, was perfect. Loved being able to hear both operators AND having Alex filming also, beautiful .... just wish your helper aiding the Backup Tractor was also BT headset equipped. We could tell that the semi driver was a bit hesitant, he could not see what the trailer was going.
Love watching ur videos. It seems like the people that haul shipping containers can't drive for crap ...lol...but it makes fir great videos for us to watch and keeps u and ur crew busy.
I had a feeling you might say something about the tractor dropping kind of hard. I see TV coverage of tractor/trailer uprighting where they just let the whole thing slam down with no catch. I've always noticed how careful you are to use a catch even when the rig is already seriously damaged.
What's up guys. It's a shame to give out cdls to people that just don't care about them anymore. Since I've been a firefighter/emt 24yrs now and seeing people actually die from their carelessness and in a hurry smh those people should never have gotten a cdl or put their foot on a truck. Pete's towing Awesome job guys
That was kinda nerve wracking. It's tough with being on that slope. Huh? Is it strange for them to bring in a different wrecker?. Thanks for sharing much love. Stay safe and healthy.
GOOD JOB , Pepe's. PRETRIP PRETRIP PRETRIP do them. Zip ties, plastic, stainless steel, or Stainless Steel safety wire(Harbor Freight has them cheap) around the safety catches and twist lock handles. If your chassis is missing one of the locks. On PRETRIP DO NOT USE TILL FIXED. If safety catch not Zip tied some styles of latches can vibrate to open. on older chassis. And some Acme Screw style. You beat with a hammer till tight.
A very good video. When you up righted the chassis andthe truck, it was a little rough not like your usual. You and Alex really nailed lifting that container and putting it back on the chassis. The couple of videos I’ve seen with Alex running big flipper, I think he does an awesome job. What happened to Dave?
Container drivers should check their pins every morning and every time they leave the truck unattended, even a kid playing around could unlatch these pins easily!
A great video again Josh...except for the tractor slamming down...I think thats a first on here. The pick on the container was textbook...and for a change no bowed panels on it.
Great video and grat job I thought the customer choosing to use a different tower for truck was a little on not smart side I don't see how they could saved any money doing that way but hey everyone got paid end day
Very nice work but I’ve noticed that you guys do a lot of roll overs involving containers. Are they having issues with load shifting or is it the Indy 500 with trucks and curves. I am a truck driver over 15 years and have made mistakes
So much for the catch. ;) It looked like no one pulled the driveshaft when the nice truck driver made it so easy for you. Or did you know before the flip that you were not doing the tow?
Josh, Like you mentioned... you / we see these all the time... Question for ya - are these guys going very fast when they come around these curves...? or is it that the load shifts which pulls them over... Thanking about theses... You do so many of these your probably do them in your sleep...
'Centrifugal forces can NEVER catch me! Do they not know who I am? I'm going to step on it around this curve, gonna save 2.2 seconds! Yeeeeehaaaa....UPS WHAT WAS THAT?!! what is the asphalt doing at the other side of my side window?!!!'
Yea not sure it the guy that was spiked to the tractor understood the "catch". No, most of the other "Heavy wrecker teams I watch, don't drop them that hard. Maybe there is an opportunity for some extended training for the other driver. Other than that it was another great video. Not sure how you can have missing safety latch on your hooks being in California. LOL.
I am curious, when the guy was digging down in the mud (on the front left corner of the box), why not use the upper strap already in place and lift the box slightly to be able attach the lower strap instead of making him dig the hole?
Now I'm not a truck driver but even a class D car driving person would know like just how important it is to make sure that your 5th wheel is secure - isn't just as important to make sure that the container you're hauling is secured to the chassis before moving said truck? Just a question worth asking from a car driver.
But you like tight working areas, Josh. After all, this is what shows you as a "Professional". Between your company and Sumpter Wrecker, you both show different methods of getting things done, Sumpter hasn't shown a rotator yet but they have managed to get things out of tight spaces.
Why do you have this older guy operating a recovery vehicle? Every time he's present, he doesn't know what he's doing, Alex, and you are great operators
Some…. they all scare me the trucking industry in kalifornia has gone to crap, some “drivers” don’t know what a speed limit sign means, don’t know English, DONT CHECK THE LOAD LATCHS if & I say if I would go back to KALIFORNIA I wouldn’t go anywhere near the ports.
I bet this guy will learn to slow down coming into a curve the next time. Got to admit when you righted the chassis, that wasn't a typical Pepe's smooooth rollover. Oh well, take one for the industry and make a video showing how THEY do it and then how YOU guys do it. Bottom line---you got it done safely. 😊
The slam and go is common… it takes no skill or consideration for the customers equipment… you however prove your skill, professional and consideration in every video…
The driver took so damn long to back under the chassis man. You can tell that it must be an automatic truck and he's scared of it. You gotta be a little aggressive when dealing with that automatic when backing up a hill. If not the truck will keep moving forward. Or he could have just held that break anytime he felt uncomfortable, feed gas before release, to avoid the creep/lurch forward, and release the brake when the truck bucks up. Sad the original driver forgot the locks, but another incredible job by the guys! Thanks for the upload!
I would not call this a disaster A flood, tornadoes, hurricanes Train derailed spills Hazzard Materials. That's a disaster Not 1 container falls off chassis. If that's a disaster then Georgia Port has 2 or 3 A week .
Do you ever have problems with these over seas containers and the companies getting your money for jobs like this? Looks like a lot of the tractors are independant operators?

You guys are true artists who thoroughly know both your trade and your equipment. Beautiful job.
You guys continue to make it look easy. Equipment, teamwork all top notch.
Nice mix of both cameras to capture the set up as well as giving different angles of the roll over and lift of the container. Scary that trucks can drive off without locking the container down.

Josh, Alex, Hulk and Big Flipper: You did a fantastic job. (oops on the tractor though.) Great team work too. Stay safe out there guys.
One thing I have learned. Stay away from container loads on a curve or on and off ramps Thank You always interesting to watch your videos
Mighty fine job getting that container back on the chassis off-level. You guys are the best.
Always amazing watching you pepe's towing every time you guys rock
Alex's voice is so soothing
Keep up the good work love watching you on UA-cam an I'm a tow truck driver in New Zealand
Mr Josh I like those container slings. Thanks for sharing and stay safe
It is always good to see a professional at work. You are a good operator.
Awesome Recovery --- I enjoyed this one much more than the others. The Strain Gauges allowed precision control, and setting it down on the trailer again, was perfect. At least they were nice enough to forget all the locks so the container was completely off the chassis, so no worries about having one lock stuck. 🤣
Always have good videos Josh with Alex always amazing job with with your guys
Love watching ur videos. It seems like the people that haul shipping containers can't drive for crap ...lol...but it makes fir great videos for us to watch and keeps u and ur crew busy.
Bonehead truckers will always keep these heavy wrecker guys busy. Wonder if the driver was wearing flip flops.
Josh another quality job! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Josh and Alex are the best
You guys make it look easy.
I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. some of those container drivers scare me!
A roll over? They do happen often lol I post them every week
@@PepesTowingService I mean not locking the locks on the chassis

Pete's towing Awesome job guys
Easiest way to change the oil. Just add after righting.
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Nice recovery guys! 🪝👍🇺🇸
Yeah, if it isn't locked down you're going to lose it! Good job Pepe's towing!
That was kinda nerve wracking. It's tough with being on that slope. Huh? Is it strange for them to bring in a different wrecker?. Thanks for sharing much love. Stay safe and healthy.
Yes that worked out really good for you guys.great job.
Great job very professional like always 👏
Hey Josh // Alex & Hector !!! Great job well done !!! 🤔🙃😛👍👍👍👍👍 Maybe the Driver will check his container locks next time ??? 🤔🤥🙄
Man, than was tricky! Great professional job as always! 👍
Great coverage. Thanks.
Slide it over reconecct and upright looks perfect
Lol Alex needs a raise… fantastic job!,
Great job guys love your video stay safe
Good recovery. You didn’t worry about load shift in that container. Seems it would be way left weighted and vulnerable to a re-tip
😊😊great job with 2 cameras keep up the good work
GOOD JOB , Pepe's.

In australia we would jailed if carted containers like that 😮
From Florida based heavy rescue. Wow, guess I spoke a little prematurely. We never would have crash landed the tractor like that.
Outstanding save

Some tense moments to be sure, but A GREAT RECOVERY.
Very nice work 👍😊
Nice video!! Great job !!
Hey Josh & Crew...!
You guys are amazing.👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊😊😊😊😊

Don't think Hector understood how to use the catch line. Or was just not quick enough on the winch control.
Some times you get no help, some times too much help, 😊
Very cool thanks 👍😊
Nice job boys!!!!
Excellent!
Those California truckers love to keep y’all busy!! LOL
You basically did this one solo , 🤷♂️ Awesome
Great job
Josh I’ve been watching the dream team for few yrs finally saw a error catching the tractor. Now the team is human . LOL
Great video and grat job I thought the customer choosing to use a different tower for truck was a little on not smart side I don't see how they could saved any money doing that way but hey everyone got paid end day

Your so good, I know because you told me 5 times
19:20 misplaced the shovel?🤔😅
Looked at with a hole lot of respect.

What blackout headlight kit did you use? Are the light pattern/brightness same as OEM?
The truck was tired. It's taking a nap
😂Good job Homes!

That catch was non existent haha, glad it turned out alright, especially with the guy hopping the curb.

pull up, que show off!
good show miss your dad he allways looks good & is allwaus on the ball
Oh oh wie brutal!!😵💫😅
What’s with all the flipped over container trucks that you deal with? Are these rivers the worst ones out there?

Surgical👌👌
not setting locks made it easier to remove container at terminal problem was it wasn't at terminal when container was removed.
When are you posting the video of the person who forgot to unlock there pins at the port
Looks like there’s more trucks than cars there in L.A.
The slam and go is common… it takes no skill or consideration for the customers equipment… you however prove your skill, professional and consideration in every video…
Something seemed off during the tractor flipping. The driver of the white truck didn't seem to be interested in the job at all.
That was crazy. LoL
oops and here we have another homie who forgot to cut his speed before leaving the freeway
Just hanging around huh

Why aren’t you a cop anymore Alex ???
