    You rotator guys have it so easy. Your job only requires a solid footing in physics, geometry, leverage, weight and balance, mechanical engineering, physical strength and stamina, knowledge about the physical characteristics of the vehicles and trailers you recover, deep understanding of the capabilities and limits of your equipment, laws and regulations covering your business, and customer service skills. Deep respect.

    Josh showed how great he is at taking the lead as well as demonstrating his knowledge of how to rig a tremendously complicated recovery. This is why this channel is my only recovery channel. I find the others boring in comparison. Thanks for the narrative, the recording, editing and posting. This is very close to the excavator recovery in difficulty. Thanks.

    You've done some very technical jobs before, but this one was more detailed and delicate than usual. Small moves had big effects on the angle and attitude of semi. Getting that tractor unjammed without causing drama was an accomplishment. All that and working for an exact position when you set it down. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Excellent skills. Awesome job. Thanks for the video.

    As a millwright and rigger, I have lifted a lot of heavy stuff. The worry here was just how stuck that nose was and the fear of the tree not staying put.

      @sonofbr thing is palm trees are notorious for a ball shaped root structure. In defense of him, this may be a species I'm not familiar with.

One thing I will say is that your uncle has one up on you. Yeah he’s got nice different colours on his logo but Josh you gotta get your spreader bars done like your uncle’s gotta have that name on there that would look Hella sick. I’m sure it’s not too often that you get to work with IE crew. I’m taking a guess that he fell asleep at the wheel. And after two weeks, I finally got my hoodie, fits so much better.

    Holy CRAP!!!!! Well this pretty much tops anything I would think of on how to wreck a truck and make it a challenge for you…. Except maybe have truck, completely under an overpass, full 180 all wheels pointed straight up at the sky… that MIGHT be a challenge for you 😂😂. Seriously tho, amazing work. Just like Alex you are a great teacher. Speaking of, I’m sure he was REALLY jealous he missed this one lmao. But all in all I’m glad everyone’s ok.
    Edit to add: you missed an opportunity to overlay Spyders shirt when you said “I know” like 3x lmao.

    • @PepesTowingService
      @PepesTowingService  16 днів тому +12

      I didn't "let" them??? lmao. Going to just copy and paste this under every comment like this: "I didn't forget anything. Watch the video, I said when it's stable. This job was a lot tricker than I thought and at no point was stable. At what part was it safe to hand over the controls? I didn't anticipate the tractor to stay stuck and rubbing up against the bridge which needed my upmost attention so unfortunately this wasn't a good job to train someone that's never held a rotator remote."

    • @lornahardin4563

      You might want to offer them some training time so they get to see what you can do. And, once they get to know what you can do, they will value your input on complicated scenes. So, a win/win.

      Having operated a basic recovery vehicle for FD in UK we only received sporadic training due to funding issues. The knowledge was handed down from the guys who had already learned the hard way!

    When a dentist pulls a tooth he 'extracts' it (with force). When the fire service and paramedics carefully remove an injured and/or trapped patient, the correct term is 'extrication'.
