I tried all the tricks & tips from various Utube videos, but none worked for me. I have been hiccuping off/on for a few days; then it got worst & was constantly annoying as hell. Finally, I took 1 or 2 hits from a cannabis-pipe; hiccups went away instantly! Who knew?

THE METHOD BELOW WORKED, WHERE OTHERS SHOWN ON UA-cam VIDEOS AND THE WIDER INTERNET FAIlED (for me anyway):
JUST HAVE A SHOWER 🚿 UNDER THE COLD TAP WATER.
Been having persistent hiccups (with a feeling of heart burn too) going to nearly two days and other methods did not work except when I had the shower as described above. Interestingly, I had the hunch it will work before trying but feared the recoil from cold water. Guess however, "NO PAIN NO GAIN"
