When i heard that the first time i thought that DeNiro himself used that in "Showtime" with Eddie Murphy. He plays that Cop who is forced to do this reality TV stuff and they try to improve his acting. And he is breathing like someone just saved him from drowning to show what he thinks of those acting techniques. Maybe some say that film is weak but it got a place in my heart. I love all his funny stuff.
