I had +3 pitting edema in my feet, ankles, calves, knees, and thighs. It came on suddenly. My doctor put me on the classic treatment of Lasix and Potassium. It didn't work. I started taking B1, decreased processed sugars, wore TED hose, as my feet felt like they were broken from the enormous pressure from the edema. Blood vessels ruptured, and the front of my calves split, the edema was so bad. I am not diabetic. I walk and exercise. Once I took control of my health....I stopped the Lasix & Potassium.....increased my Magnesium Taurate and B1 vitamin, along with B12.....the edema literally disappeared in 2 days. I lost 25 pounds in that time, too. My doctor was stunned that I cured myself. I am an ER/ICU/Trauma Nurse). Everyone should be more proactive in their own healthcare. Research, educate yourselves, and dedicate your life to your life. Thank you, Dr. Berg.....you ROCK!❤😊
Dear Diana, please tell us how much mg of Vit B1 you took and what is that magnesium taurate ? I take simple magnesium of two 100 mg of magnesium. Your kind response will be highly appreciated
@@dianafernandez6069 I take 2 tablets of 100mg magnesium and 250 mcg of B12 every day. But I was asking question to another Diana about the dose of Vitamin B1. She said she cured by taking vitamin b 1 and magnesium taurate. Just look at her post right above
I'm on the same meds and I'm sick of it !! My mouth is dry and im dehydrated from taking Lasix and potassium from my dr. Thank you for this information
I’m a nurse, and this explanation of the condition of diabetes is EXCELLENT! -simple and to the point. Thanks doc-I’m going to share this video with a lot of people. God bless you!
I had to go strict carnivore BBBE w/ no cheating for my legs/ankles to start unswelling. Took about a good 2 weeks. I also started B1 magnesium and electrolytes (make it myself) many vids on how to make them morning & night. It's been 3 months now and no swelling. Praise the Lord!
@@Drberg Yes, and of crucial importance (imo) is your description of what sugar does to our red blood cells. Now you've enlightened us so, there can be no return of the sweet tooth. Good on You.
Dr Berg notes Dr Berg talks about edema causes and remedies. Swollen legs are often a symptom of edema and are typically blamed on liver, kidney, or heart problems. Did you know that edema and pitting edema may be able to be fixed without a blood thinner or diuretic? Water retention in the lower legs is caused by a problem with the sodium-potassium pumps in your cells. If these pumps aren’t working correctly, water retention outside the cells, known as interstitial fluid retention, will occur. When you have swollen ankles, it’s usually the result of high blood sugar connected to the hemoglobin protein in your blood. This is called glycation, which inhibits the blood cell’s ability to carry nutrition and oxygen throughout the body. Glycated proteins can also block circulation, leading to swollen legs and swollen ankles. High blood sugar causes sodium retention, which also contributes to water retention. Over time, this can affect the nerves in the bottom of the feet, causing numbness and tingling, known as peripheral neuropathy. Even if you don’t yet have diabetes, edema can be caused by high blood sugar. To help eliminate edema, you must ensure you’re getting plenty of potassium, which can be difficult to achieve through diet alone. The average person needs 4700 mg of potassium daily! Avocados, salads, and berries can help you meet this requirement. You also need plenty of magnesium to help eliminate edema. Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and leafy greens are good sources of magnesium. Aim for 420 mg of magnesium daily. High-quality electrolyte powder without hidden sugars can help increase potassium and magnesium intake. Vitamin B1 deficiency is likely behind issues with the sodium-potassium pump. For sugar to be turned into usable energy in the body, you need vitamin B1. Consuming too many refined carbohydrates can cause a vitamin B1 deficiency. Vitamin B1, potassium, and magnesium can help eliminate edema, but you must also eliminate sugar from your diet. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍

‘mankind’ is no longer acceptable when referring to people. The word ‘people’ is inclusive for all genders, as demonstrated in the previous sentence. There are many inclusive words that can and should be used when referring to us all. Just a thought…
I spent over AUD $ 1500 on tests and at the end of it all I wasn't given any explanation. They said they "didn't know". This video had I seen it before could have saved me all that hassle and expense. Thank you Dr Eric Berg
@@DrbergThanks for the info Dr. I have a question and seen someone in the comments already asked it... Since the life cycle of a red blood cell is about 90 days and the sugar connects to the protein of the cell causing glycation... will 90 days of keto and intermittent fasting remove the glycation from the body? Circulation and tissues ect?
I have this very same problem with my ankles, and my doctor never, ever mentioned any of this to me. Wow! What a way to keep me coming back to the doctor. Mind-blowing and sad!! Thanks to Dr. B For always providing such amazingly enlightening info.
You are welcome! Here are some tips 👉 Consuming too many refined carbohydrates can cause a vitamin B1 deficiency. Vitamin B1, potassium, and magnesium can help eliminate edema, but you must also eliminate sugar from your diet.
@@GenevieveBarker-pw7dr Magnesium glycinate is very well absorbed and is a better price when you look at how much you have to take of the others… 320 mg for women 420 mg for men… A little more won’t hurt.
Remember that you cannot take magnesium, potassium, and calcium all together… Minerals compete with each other for absorption. Potassium would be a good way to start the day, have calcium* somewhere during the day (*always take vitamin D3 + K2/10,000 mg and 100 mcg, and then magnesium glycinate** at night. ** Women > 40 take 320 mg or so… Men > 40 take 420 mg or so. Magnesium helps you rest, so it is best to take it at night.
I have pitted edema in my right foot and ankle only when I eat gluten. It's so frustrating. When I eat ketovore in fine. Within a couple of days eating the S.A.D. it happens. I really wish I knew why it's only one foot/leg. Until then I'm confident in the ketovore way of eating😊
@@1stDoNoHarm63. I have the same thing in both legs, but one leg is much worse. The pain in my legs is terrible. I wear support hose 24/7, I can hardly tolerate them off long enough to shower. This Dr’s explanation is the best & easiest to understand of them all. Low carb/ carnivore eating has made a huge improvement for me too. But I am still unable to walk much at all & it is with terrible pain.
I learned more about diabetes from this video than I have in the last 10 years of (unsuccessful) “treatment” by various doctors. Thank you for taking the time to make this very educational piece.
Day 1 for me (325lbs, type II Diabetic, Lupus, OA, Menopause). I bought some marked down steaks and eggs and artichoke hearts (no gallbladder). Walked in the Sun for 10 minutes. Watching all your videos. Thank you for all the information you provide and the time you take to give us good data, so that we can get healthy.
Annamooney.... start looking at your gains that are not realized on the scale. It might be that you walked two more steps than the week before...it might be that your pants fit a little looser but it may not show up on the scale. I am rooting for you. Don't get discouraged.
Well done for taking that first step, take it easy in the early days and know that it's best to plan for the long term. Weight loss will be noticeable in the early weeks but this will be water weight and not fat, keep going, measure your progress with looser fitting clothing and NOT the bathroom scales, they will be misleading. Well done Anna. ☑
These videos are good, but there’s a book called The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray, and it shows you how to really activate the healing properties of natural herbs.
Wow! I am a juvenile diabetic, and this is the first time ever that a doctor has explained high blood sugar so well. I learned some things I’ve never been told.
Very glad it helps! One tip here 👉 You can see that fasting is smart for both type 1 and type 2 diabetics, because you'll decrease your need for Fat Storing Hormone www.drberg.com/blog/intermittent-fasting-and-diabetes-type-1?srsltid=AfmBOooZuRAkCj8E9OHSFXyiGeFYVyGEync67a7sWZTWPTuGWjPiNGDy
So much to learn Sly, as a younger person the best you can do is omit the negative "foods" like seed-oils, refined flour products and sugars. Study Dr Berg's videos for better health as you get older. However your brain and long bones will still require carbs and protein to develop, i strongly suggest you avoid the Prolonged Fasting until you are older than at least 25 years old.
I wish I would have had access to these videos when I was younger. I always wanted to know the "why" behind everything, and these videos are so great at explaining "why". Thank you.
I had significant edema in my lower legs before quitting carbs three years ago. My doctor was amazed that my legs were returning to normal after only four months! I had suffered with this condition for ten years! The Doctor told me there was no treatment, just wrap my legs with Ace bandages. Pre diabetes diagnosis was one of the best things to happen to me! After quitting carbs, pre diabetes was gone in three weeks. I still have a small amount of swelling in my ankles. Wear compression sleeves every day. Im going to try this. Thanks, Dr. Berg. Your videos have helped me to improve my health significantly.

Thank you Dr for you advise, i look forward to incorporating the vitamins and changing my diet, 7 years ago the swelling started and it has been a struggle, unable to put on shoes, my self esteem has been low But I thank God for you, and this guidance
I had edema for a couple of months but only in one leg which was very strange and doctors had no idea what was causing it. I was taking all my vitamins, including b1, was healthy and working out, xrays done - nothing wrong with the tissue in the leg! But continual swelling!! The only thing that made it stop and quickly - was cutting out carbohydrates. Mind you i was eating healthy carbs in a healthy balanced diet. Only cutting out carbs worked for me. Im in my second carb free week now. I cant believe how fast my body resolved the problem once i gave it a break from the carbs.
Congrats- I too need to stop the carbs, when I reduce the amounts of pasta I feel better, butter can’t seem to quit. Starting Sept. 1st I’ll stop completely- I’m proud that I quite Pepsi about nine months.
I had the opposite happening... tried to go carnivore for healing, and both of my legs swelled up, and I even got a terrible rash.... had to go back to low carb, and now I am going slowly as oxalate dumping was hurting me.
Dr Berg, I want to say a massive thank you! Avoid Whipple Surgery at all costs. My husband had to have that due to precancerous lesion on pancreas. He's never been the same. He now has Secondary Type I Diabetes, little energy, memory issues, etc.
Having jumped off the Good Health wagon in order to bake and devour rich apple pies which led to tubs of ice cream and then lazily got re-addicted to cookies - now this good inspiring health advice has come at a critical pivotal moment. Now it's time to go cold turkey on the sugar & bread . . . again!!
I struggled still with keto, any carbs caused cravings. I recently went to full carnivore and stopped diet soda. I have no carb cravings now. I just have to be totally free of carbs to control the cravings. it feels so good. Odd, my first benefit from going carnivore was my vision improved. Colors are brighter, weird.

Thank You so much Dr. Eric... I have been struggling with this problem since I was 20 years old (now I'm 55) even though I am not a big consumer of carbohydrates, nor sugars but I am familiar with diabetes from my father's family... Apart from telling me that I suffered from lymphedema in my lower limbs no doctor ever told me what the causes could be and how to cure me!!! So thank you so much, you are a miraculous resource of useful information!!! May God reward you with blessings a thousand times‼️❣️💞🔝👍💌🎁🌹🌿🕊🌈🙏✨️💖😘... Lisa M. Italy
I did 8 months lymphedema therapy massages and had 2 appts weekly co pay $40 each time. I have seaping valves in lower ankles and due to sitting at desk working legs in same position bent. Going on two years now no swelling. My feet were soo huge unable to wear shoes but a slide in and compressions. I still wear them daily. I went to vascular Dr who referred me to do the therapy at Baylor. Wish I had seen this video I could have saved Hundreds of dollars. I don't eat a lot of those carbs however the lymph nodes were apparently clogged. She wrapped my legs get drainage out it definitely worked i am grateful. Now this invaluable information I will add into my food intake
I don’t think this video is about the lymph problem… With lymph gathering in the legs, (ankles, feet) it’s called non-pitting edema. I have it too. Only lying down for at least 8-10 hours helps me. I don’t take any medicines, except thyroid hormone - I have Hashimoto disease and probably hypothyroidism by now - this is probably the reason of this problem... I should wear special compression tights (have problems with varicose veins and aneurysms on veins too) but it’s much too hot for it in the place where I live, we have 35-37 degrees Celsius now still and some 85% humidity - there is a problem with putting these tights on AND with pulling them off😢 my hands are too weak for them. This video is about a pitting edema - different problem, different reasons, different ways of treatment. Take care!
@@user-rz7cm2we3x Greetings. Pitting edema is just a measure of the severity of one's lymphatic drainage issue. I am one of those leg wrapping therapists you visited. And gradient compression and MLD is definitely the gold standard in reducing and controlling lymphedema. But do not be mistaken, this nutritional info is valuable and applicable to anyone with lymphatic issues. We should educate more on this, however no one seems to wants to actually change their diet significantly.
@@user-rz7cm2we3x Hi i have this and my doctor diagnosed it was lymphedema and prescribed those socks for me so treatment must be the same for all edemas.
I watch his videos but what I like best is how he gives you the information. He teaches you in a manner that isn't over my head. I understand what he is saying and how to remedy the issue. Great doctor, thank you so much!!
I have heard of the words glycation and A1C, but I never really understood what they actually are - thank you for the wonderful way you explained them and more 🙌🏼❤️💪🏼
I had swelling on my ankle just above my foot due to a torn meniscus in my right knee. I put castor oil on the bottoms of my feet for sleep. Surprisingly, all of the inflammation went away in about a week and has never come back. 😊
Thanks for sharing! I'm dealing with meniscus tears in both knees at the moment and I'm scheduled for surgery in 6 weeks, hopefully to relive me from the daily chronic pain and swelling but I guess I should try what you did and see if it works huh??!!😊
Your advice is always AWESOME!!! Also, when I started to put my legs up high on short breaks instead of sitting in my chair at work a lot, the swelling went down. Plus, I eat raw garlic for circulation. Yes, sugar is limited for me. USA
Thank you so much, Doc! I'm a 49-year-old woman with swollen feet and ankles for 10 years. In 2014, it was too much swollen that I couldn't wear even sandals, and my feet became soared and infected. Since 2014 and now, my feet have been swollen on and off, and the doctors only give me tablets, causing me to urine many times during the day and it causes me not to be able to go to work. After watching your informative video, I think I've got to know the reason. To make sure, I appreciate your recommendations to me to have this problem solved forever. 🙏❤️
Thank you for this video. I take 1teaspoon cremetart/creme of Tartar daily for my potassium intake. Those deficient in potassium can take 1teaspoon in the morning and 1teaspoon im the evening for months then lower to 1teaspoon daily. Much easier while getting your diet correct. Some of us cannot afford to buy all the fruits and veggies needed. Take it from a nurse.
I mix cream of tartar, sea salt, apple cider vinegar, water and lemon juice to make my own electrolyte drink using empty Pedialyte bottles, but I only use 3/4 tsp cream of tarter for each bottle. Didn't realize you could take 2 tsp per day....I've been scared of potassium getting too high as my last lab work showed normal potassium lvl. Thanks for the info and btw I make the drink for myself instead of buying Pedialyte (my baby is grown now 😊).
Just make sure you aren’t in heart failure. My mother who has always been healthy but never liked going to doctors. She started having edema in her lower extremities and went to the doctor and was given a diuretic pill and potassium pill to take but the edema wasn’t going anywhere. She started feeling weak and fatigued and we went to the ER and she was in AFib. Her whole life has changed so I would recommend going to the doctor and getting the proper testing to get the correct diagnosis.
I agree with you. There can be a lot of serious issues related to this condition depending on age, gender, pregnancy, disease, genetic mutations, and more.
@@StreetShelves The doctor did correct but we were just starting to see signs. My mother never had any real outward signs. But everything started to snowball weeks later. My mother had never had an echocardiogram before and all the puzzle pieces started to fit together.
I've had a problem with edema , swelling, and pitting on my left leg for 27 years. I got it because of an injury to my left foot. One time I foolishly went out barefoot and I stepped on a sharp pebble; and that's when the swelling started. I've been to various doctors about it and been basically told that nothing can be done. There had been some brief times when it went away but it came back. Elevating can help, but it's hard to do constantly. I am retired from work and I had jobs where I sat for most of the day. I've always exercised with muscle training, bike riding, and some walking. It helped but it never went away. But lately, since I've retired, the swelling is less than it used to be and there are times when I would forget that I have that problem. Maybe I just need to see Jesus walking along a street and then I could touch his clothing, and it would go away. Wouldn't that be nice?

I am so happy that you made this video. No one ever talks about the swelling of ankles. I wished you would do such a video since you say things so well. I have swelling ankles since my pregnancy which has been 18 years ago. Do I have swelling 18 years now with no success in decreasing my swelling. I tried for the first time dieting since I became overweight after pregnancy but can’t lose. The reason honestly: I love food. So eating bananas, berries, Chia seeds, no sugar, no gluten and plant fiber good?
My mom is 90 and she had edema. She can’t walk anymore without assistance. Im also feeling that tingling in the bottom of my feet. Thank you for this video. Definitely going to share this with my mom. I’ve already started making changes in my diet .
That is my problem this summer. In the past my feet have swollen a little during the summer heat but not as bad as this summer. Due to the leg fracture/immobility I have not been able to do even the most basic things like prepping my vitamin/pill trays. All the vitamins you mentioned, I have taken on a regular basis the last 10+ years. That's why I was so surprised at how bad the swelling was this year. Felt like I was walking on painful water balloons. I was worried the immobility from the fracture and the extreme temperatures were causing the swelling. Now I am even more motivated to get my trays done. Thank you for the information.
Thank you Dr. Berg! Informative and well explained as always. Ive been ketovore for 3 years and 99.99% strict carnivore for almost 3 months. I’ve never had this much improvement in the swelling of my legs on any diet I’ve ever tried. I’ve suffered with swelling in my lower legs, feet, ankles since I was a teen. I’ve thought I’d heard every reasoning, from lipodema, too much salt, too many fried foods, muscles in the legs, just don’t work, because I’m tall 👀 but never heard a true explanation. Thank you again🫶
thank-you for this video, i use to be a major diabetic high blood pressure etc i lost over 80lbs, i am now down around 160 heading down to about 155lbs. I had hernia surgery and sufferred massive edema when the wound closed up, my body filled up with over 40lbs of fluid and i spent 3 weeks in hospital getting it drained, i went into heart failure for the 2nd time because of it. My heart apparently has trouble pumping blood and fluid so i am taking diarectics to help with my situation, and yes they do help keep the fuild down which keeps me healthy, i am strength training watching my diet and making sure that i get more potassium supplementation into my body thru electrolytes (no carb gatorade etc) I am going to follow your diet recommendations in this video to help as well. Thiamine made a huge difference in my recovery! I was hospitalized due to RSV and severe asthma attack and when I was discharged home, I could not get any energy. The day I added the thiamine to my diet, it made a huge impact in my recovery and I take this miracle every day now
I followed this and it really does work. I had swelled ankles for years and just after 3-4 weeks my ankles look great. It's easy to get B1. It's tougher to get potassium and I try to eat foods that contain it every day. I have also started using Celtic salt just a tiny pinch of it every time I drink 8 oz of water. It is high in magnesium and potassium. Thank you for this video.
Sometimes, a chemical being frequently consumed can cause it. I had swollen ankles and it turned out to be from decaffeinated coffee from a particular convenience store. I stopped drinking it and the swelling vanished. It had some kind of chemical in it, possibly a machine cleaner
Dr. Berg- wonderful video. I have had swollen feet and ankles for years. Could you please recommend which of your products to buy that would contain the proper amounts of potassium sodium and Vitamin b1?
I've never suffered from swollen feet but my neuropathy can be debilitating. I've had 3 cervical surgeries and have severe scar tissue and nerve damage. Throughout the day my back will be on fire as well. I'll add B1 with my magnesium supplement. Thanks again

It’s crazy how I figured out to stop eating carbs in December 2023 when I realized my ankles wouldn’t stop swelling up. After a couple of weeks carb free, my ankles were fine. I slowly introduced carbs and I noticed 2 days later, my ankles were swollen again. I didn’t know anything about the vitamins and minerals until now. I’ll be sore to make sure I’m getting enough along with my carb free diet.
I heard a cardiologist years ago, who would put all of his patients on Low Sodium V8 juice for a month. It's jammed full of natural potassium. He claimed 90% no longer needed surgery. I tried it and it actually works. I'm also a huge Magnesium preacher. I'll add the B1

I had prostatectomy surgery 5 years ago and they removed a bunch of central abdominal lymph nodes as part of the process. I had major problems with swelling almost immediately afterwards. Lymphatic drainage massage only accomplished so much. I’m going to give this a try.
I added B vitamins among others, but cutting all carbs and increasingly going into carnivore and my edema is now minimal if at all. I sit at a desk all day. I do still usually wear compression sox, but not on my days off. There is just scant edema now.
I don't get swollen ankles nor do my legs get swollen but if I lay down with my legs up they tend to start getting tingling sensation and my feet for some reason start getting stiff. I do take magnesium and nutritional yeast along with a trace mineral liquid but it doesn't seem to help. It could be my medication since I am a type 2 diabetic I'm taking ozempic and I'm taking metformin 2000 mg I'm not sure if that's causing my issue but I've had those feelings and my legs for as long as I can remember. Even as a teenager I used to get that. I was diagnosed that too when I was 45 years old
Great info, thanks. I have had this problem for some time and spent a year going to doctors and specialists and none of them ever told me anything like this. They just ran tests (some very expensive) and gave me prescriptions that did absolutely nothing. I'm going to try this out and hopefully it'll finally help me get over this.
4:16 Coconut water has at least 2000mg potassium per litter. 2 litters per day is usual drinking water consumption. When exercise or in summer and you need 4 litters. But you’d need 8 avocado or a kilo of spinach., not viable.

It would be really helpful if you did a review of the electrolyte powders on the market. For example, a lot of them have a much higher sodium to potassium rate and I was always told that you need 4x as much potassium as sodium.
KetoChow sales those in liquid form. Their pricing is amazing too. I get my electrolytes, trace minerals, fasting drops and magnesium from them. You can add them to your water, it will taste salty or you can shot them and chase it with water.
You can buy potassium powder in bulk online and it is so cheap compared to electrolyte powders! I get my salt by food, take a magnesium supplement and add a spoon of potassium powder to my water. I work in the Texas heat in the summer and need a crazy amount of electrolytes. I get bad leg cramps if I don't. Them companies are charging way too much for electrolytes, just salt, magnesium and potassium.

Are you trying to put yourself out of a job? A health person is a lost customer. I learned that from Big Pharma.

@@appalledpaul5497
Oh no !! As a diabetic I need my sweet tooth to stay with me for life !! 🤠
Dr Berg notes
Dr Berg talks about edema causes and remedies.

I don’t think this video is about the lymph problem…
With lymph gathering in the legs, (ankles, feet) it’s called non-pitting edema.

You are a blessing! I just literally bought B1 vitamins today because my ankles are swollen and I've been craving sugar like no tomorrow! I'm menopausal and it's driving me nuts! Thank you! 👍❤
I noticed I have swollen legs these last 5 days.
And I suspected sugar... lately I was doing a lot of home improvements in hot Subic and had alot of sweetened fruit flavored drink (about 3 liters a day for 3 weeks.)
Once I noticed the swelling, I refrained taking carbs and sugar. I did Keto diet once; it was very effective! Will probably do that again.

That's why I'm here too! Was horribly sick for a week, after 4 days started with lemon water and then watermelon. Been pumping myself full of Gatorade and over the past week my feet and calves have swollen to where my shoes don't fit. Going back to plain water, less sugars, and a good steak!
Ok this is almost creepy lol. I literally was complaining about my feet swelling and how much weight i had gained and thought Dr. B has to have a video on this. No more than 5 min later, voila. This video. Unbelievable ❤

@@Drberg Thank you so much, Dr. Berg, for sharing this helpful information with us. I've only just found your channel on my UA-cam feed list and wasn't even looking for anything specific. However, this subject matter pertains to me, so I decided to watch the video and am so glad I did. I'm looking forward to watching some of your other videos as well and also trying your recommendation for alleviating edema in the ankles and feet. Many thanks again, I'm very grateful to you.
@@Drberg Looks like a great product but is it available in the UK? Otherwise it becomes too costly to order 😔
@@safi456 Yes, is available in Europe! Dr. Berg Natural vitamin B1+. I m looking for it to buy from Romania.
Thank you so much Dr. Berg! I have that pitting endema on my left ankle. I am already taking potasium. Now to include Mg, increase Potassium and Vitamin B-1! Awesome! ❤🎉😊
You're absolutely welcome!
The demonstration of the sugar being attached to the protein bar to represent glycation was so helpful!! I finally get it because of that clever visual aid. Thank you!!❤
Glad you like that. Thanks for watching the video. Take care.
Alfalfa tablets were miraculous for my swollen ankles near the end of my first pregnancy. Also they work after having restaurant food, which is often high in sodium.
👍
I needed this video right on time! What a blessing ❤ Thank you, may grace and blessings be poured out to you in Yahusha's name!

Sad our physicians do not release this life saving information to us-Thank u Dr
Very glad to be of help.
I am so glad I came across this video today. Thank-you
I followed his advice and got rid of it completely in a few days. Taking the B1 vitamin with K2, his Electrolyte capsules (which has plenty of Sodium) and the Magnesium Glycinate. Thank you soo much!!!❤❤❤
Thiamine made a huge difference in my recovery! I was hospitalized due to RSV and severe asthma attack and when I was discharged home, I could not get any energy. The day I added the thiamine to my diet, it made a huge impact in my recovery and I take this miracle every day now
What kind of B1
How much? that's what I am looking for.
How do you take Thiamine?

Me too i asked in another video don't have the ans yet

Great spotting that, thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!
B1 is the main one. Take with magnesium, and potasium. Dont eat carbs or refined sugar is what he says.
What's really amazing is that all of the foods that he listed taste really good.
Peptides, prp, stem cells, BPC-157, TB-500, will and change your diet to 20 carbs or less per day. About 4 tablespoons of plain oats is 20 carbs.

I think some medication is doing it! I tested not taking meds and my ankle stopped swelling completely!!!!! No swelling at all…!!!!! Now I have to find out which med is doing it!!!! Thank you so much Dr. Berg. I increased my daily intake of potassium a few months ago when I heard another teaching you did about it. It’s really good . I tell everyone about it. Thank you so much.
Can I ask what changes you've noticed?

Thank you! I appreciate your explanation! It’s so helpful! 😀 When my mother wasn’t doing well, water would actually seep out of her lower legs. I know she had CHF but no one ever checked for nutritional deficiencies.
I am 40 and have just been told I have osteoarthritis in my left foot and bone marrow oedema, no explanations, no advice, no conversations around the cause or how to improve things. Are you able to make a video about this? 🙏
I had prostatectomy surgery 5 years ago and they removed a bunch of central abdominal lymph nodes as part of the process. I had major problems with swelling almost immediately afterwards.
Lymphatic drainage massage only accomplished so much. I’m going to give this a try.
My legs and ankles swell when I sit in a car for an hour. Thanks Dr Eric
Me too. I have to wear compression socks on road trips.
Ehie Betty you are here tooo 😆😆😆

I was diagnosed that too when I was 45 years old
@TheMartuco Have you tried carnivore diet? Sounds like your blood sugar is still not controlled.

Careful about too much fruit as it is high in fructose which leads to fatty liver, as well as spiking blood glucose. Remember, the most important thing is to lower carbs to lower blood glucose. Eat lots of non-starchy vegetable carbs but moderate the starchy fruit carbs.
My feet and ankles have been swollen for a past couple of months. Did my blood work up and I am not diabetic. This is so timely, I am definitely going to what Dr Berg recommends.

Yes! I bought some Liquid IV electrolyte powder and it's SO salty, tastes gross to me.
Appreciate the video suggestion! Thanks for watching.
