Really helpful video, thanks. I particularly like the way you showed how to remove the electrical connectors - they’re all infuriatingly slightly different and just confuse this old man.

You're very welcome. They can be very frustrating, especially when they're covered in gunk and hard to see !

Thanks for upload.Well detailed. Replaced the one on my K11 back in March.Very similar procedure but quite a faff to do. The car was almost impossible to start .It ran well for a while and then the Throttle Body electronics gave up in a big way.Sadly scrapped now but I still have the other K11.

You're welcome, pity about the other K11. I actually preferred the older Micra, certainly lookswise ! :)

@@screwsnutsandbolts Thamks I agree. If I come across a K11 later coil pack version I would probably go for it..MAF sensors can be replaced separately on those.Unfortunately on the older Micras the sensor is integrated into the throttle body and unavailable.I did try soldering everthing and even tried a couple of used ones from Ebay .But it never ran the same afterwards. Excellent little cars though

I have a problem with a 2006 Nissan Note 1.4. 226,342 km. In the morning, my car shuts off when I start. Then I stop it for a while, the car starts and drives all day.
Does anyone have any advice. They gave spark plugs or should I clean the throttle valve.
    thank you

stupid question here. Is this temp sensor the one that the radiator fan gets input from or is it the one for the ecu.

It's possible. It might be worth changing it first as they're quite cheap

Im having a problem with this micra it runs fine for the next 30 min or more
then the gear stops shifting and it will move only in third gear and it will get stuck here (3)
Then if i turn it off and start it again it works fine and it will stop again shortly and im gonna have to restart it again and again to make it shift again

It sounds like a problem with the clutch not dis-engaging. It could be an issue with the clutch, low transmission fluid or something else. This link might help: carfromjapan.com/article/car-maintenance/manual-transmission-wont-go-into-gear-when-running/

I was just demonstrating how to replace the sensor. Here's a link explaining bad coolant sensor symptoms: mechanicbase.com/coolant/engine-coolant-temperature-sensor-symptoms/
