Meat Lovers Egg Cheese Pizza Crust Recipe Here: lowcarblove.com/blog/zero-car...
Servings: 12 slices
Toppings:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Pepperoni Slices
1 Ib. Hot Italian Sausage, cooked and crumbled
3-4 slices of crispy bacon, crumbled
Marinara sauce base in serving macros
Dough:
6 ounces of Colby or fiesta shredded cheese
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
½ teaspoon of onion powder
½ teaspoon of basil
1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
Optional: If you want a larger pizza, add 2 ounces of shredded mozzarella
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Cook the sausage and bacon
Drain the bacon on a paper towels
Set aside both bacon and sausages
In a large bowl add dough ingredients and mix well
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Add dough and using the back of a spoon shape into round crust
Bake crust for 10 to 15 minutes and then flip onto a new parchment paper
Add sauce with a brush
Add cheese and then toppings
Return to oven and bake for another
10 to 15 minutes until done
Can add to broil
Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top
Slice and allow to cool
Macros: (Per Slice)

2g Total Carbs
0g fiber
18g Fat
16g Protein
240 Calories

I made this last night (9/3/23) and I used 8 oz. of cheese instead of 6 oz. so I had to bake it a little longer. It turned out great! I did flip it and put the crispier side on the bottom. I used ham and bacon, pepperoni, tomato slices and parmesan cheese. I was out of mozzarella cheese, so I'll be making this again this week. I'm adding spinach this time, ground beef, pepperoni and black olives. Yummy good!
Was the pizza crust was sturdy not flimsy ?
I made this (just sausage, no bacon or pepperoni, and with chopped bell pepper) two nights ago. I am flabbergasted! Can't believe how great this is! It was so close to regular pizza. I think if someone didn't know in advance they would never realize it's flour-less. It was so good, I'm making it again tonight. And amazingly, it's actually better than normal pizza the second day. One last thing: I used to make a lot of normal pizza from scratch. After trying a million different things, I finally decided that the best pizza sauce is just a can of (blendered) tomatoes, nothing else. Try it.

Last time I did keto a ate a similar pizza about 5 times a week (yes I ate the whole pizza every time) and I lost nearly 1lb a day. I'm just getting back too it.

Couple of HIGHLY recommended additions. I make keto pizza at least 3x a month. She is spot on with pretty much everything, but here’s a couple of tips:
1. Add finely crushed up regular flavored pork rinds (2 large bags, not family size, just large) to the dough mixture. Now, I know what you’re thinking…gross. Pork rinds. I feel you. I hate pork rinds. But you can’t even taste them. Like, at all. They are zero carbs, but, most importantly, they add much needed texture to the crust. Even in this video you can see she holds it up with two hands. If it’s just cheese, it’s too soggy/limp. No flavored pork rinds, just regular. I blend mine to powder like texture.
2. Add 2 tablespoons cream cheese to dough mixture. Adds flavor and consistency.
3. You can use any cheese you like for the dough. I use zero carb mozzarella. You can also use different cheese for the dough and the toppings. I’ve used a few different combos. As long as you keep an eye on the carbs. You can even roll up string cheese into the edges of the crust and have stuff-crust cheese pizza dough. Highly recommended. WARNING to those keto newbies. Keep an eye on the cheese, otherwise you will be extremely uncomfortable on the ole commode (constipation…like you wouldn’t believe). MCT oil is your friend here. Healthy dose (1oz-2oz) into the dough. You can’t taste it.
4. I add a little nutritional yeast to the dough. 1 tsp. Gives it a rising bread-type texture. Zero carbs.
She’s pretty spot on with the spices. That’s exactly what I use.
Toppings you can do a multitude of combos. Any pizza you like from any restaurant. I’ve done garlic chicken, bbq chicken (my own keto bbq sauce), meat lovers, arugula and goat cheese, bacon-date (careful with the dates…2 slices and your close to 20). Go nuts, pretty much anything you can think of that’s zero-low carb. Shrimp, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, olives, spinach, any cheese, jalapeños, etc.
Great ideas. I am halfway through cooking this for the first time using her recipe, but I went half mozzarella half cheddar. Will definitely try the pork rind idea on the next go.

Looks fabulous. Don't forget though, each ounce of cheese is 1 gm of carb. Each egg about half a gm. These hidden grams add up if you are not careful. Just keep track and you'll be fine. I CANT WAIT TO MAKE THIS.

A couple of things to add two years late: Melt a little of your cheese and taste it before you use it. Some cheeses are extremely salty and the salt is released in the oil when it melts. My 5-cheese italian mix for the crust was a complete salt bomb after cooking. The texture was magnificent, but the salt taste was overwhelming.
Also - check your total calories. If you eat big (which is probably why you're on keto), you could consume a crazy amount of calories if you eat the entire pizza. The crust might be about 900 calories before sauce, toppings, and more cheese. This could turn into a 1500 calorie meal if you're not careful.
One alternative was to not use any more moz on top. Use a good amount of sauce and then hit it wth the shaker parm/romano mix. Throw it in the fridge for a few minutes to cool down. Perfect.
I cool mine on a wire rack after I cut into slices. Hardest part of making this pizza is waiting for it to cool enough to devour it 😆

I made this for supper last night exactly as the recipe is written. Blew my mind and blew my non-keto husband's mind even more. We both LOVED it!! Every time I make one of Mayra's recipes ot turns out amazing and delicious. She knows her stuff y'all!! ❤
I tweaked this recipe by adding cumin, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano to come up with zero carb tortillas. Instead of one giant crust, I make 4 equal circles and flatten them in my biggest non-stick skillet. I put them in the oven on 350 until the edges turn a golden color. I flip them and put them back in until the other side has cooked (about 5-8 mins.). So good! Thank you for this recipe! It helps more than you know!

I made this and it was *SPECTACULAR* I also did a few quickies since then using low carb/calorie tortillas as a thin crust and that worked just as well without all of the extra calories from the cheese. 1/2 cup cheese = 222 calories , 1 carb balance torilla = 45 calories & 4 net carbs

Made this today and it was pretty good. Only adjustment I made was I used a pizza stone to cook on so didn't need parchment paper and didn't need to flip the crust. Will make it again next week with less meat and more veggies.

You're so right, pizza is one of my favorite foods, we have a shop here called Uptown pizza and it's my only go to, now I can make a pizza that's just as delicious and it won't spike my insulin.
I literally just made one today 11/05/22 and my wife and I loved it. I did however do something different in the cheese mixture. I used 8 ounce full bag of mozzarella shredded from my grocery store, 2 eggs, black pepper, crushed red pepper and garlic paste. Mixed it all together and cooked according to the video. Super good
Mozzarella is not a great cheese for the crust tho because it stays soft and elastic

I love how easy this is and less time than waiting for the pizza to come. I'm gonna also try a Mexican version with enchilada sauce, hamburger, chiles, onion, salsa, can't wait. I used to make an awesome chicken version pizza with sliced tomatoes, garlic oil sauce, basil and parmesan and will have to try that again. I highly recommend people have all the recipes they like in a folder and meal prep that way, if you wait till it's time to cook most people cheat. We also tend to forget over time what to make, just show your list to your family and they pick off things for the week. Also trying to cook Sundays for the whole week so I don't have to think about it again, you're in the kitchen anyway.
Oh my lawd!!! I am a literal cheese-a-holic, like I have to have a cheese budget and a rule about cheese with no more than two meals a day, so this pizza is “gooder” than some of my best cheese concoctions! This was my reward tonight for not eating one single chocolate chip cookie while making 6 dozen with my classes!!! I win!!! Thank you!!!

I made it today, it’s really good. I put just Ham and bacon and was happy with that. It doesn’t hold like regular bread crust, but it really helps with the pizza craving and I like it’s easy to make and is not almond flour. I don’t think I’d make it often because it’s so much cheese and I’m thinking about going paleo. But I do think it will be something my kids will like. Love your recipes!!!

I love Raos too the Italian Sausage and Mushroom is totally amazing. It actual has lots of big chunks of Italian sausage, real Italian sausage and large sliced mushrooms in it. Yummy stuff.

Just had my first slice of this pizza and of a pizza since starting Keto 5weeks ago. It’s been so helpful to try something like this. I’m genuinely so grateful to you for showing this, I’ve had a mundane go at Keto and though I try I just feel very repetitive, BUT THIS IS WOW!
I used Mild for my base due to not wanting just a cheesy taste overload, I also made a home tomato sauce which I worried would be too wet but I added chilli flakes, Italian pasta herbs, black pepper and chilli powder, yes I wanted it abit spicy, my topping was previously fried mushrooms, I broke up a burger meat in a pan, green pepper, salami bits, feta cheese, and jalapeño. Honestly so amazing, that smell is just like pizza and like outside pizza, I recommend mild cheddar as you just forget there’s so much cheese but then again I didn’t have anything else. Anyways just wrote in case anyone else trying but also thank you, it was amazing!

The crust is a bit cheesy in flavor. I highly recommend 15-20 minutes on the first side to get a bit crispier and then just 10 minutes once you add the topping plus the 2 minute broil is a necessity to brown the top a bit.
I've tried EVERY Keto pizza crust out there!!! This was easy and SO GOOD !! Thank you for this recipe!!!!! I am always hesitant when it comes to making meals that people claim are "the best tasting Keto". I've found like 5 in 7 years and this is the BEST yet !!!!!!! TFS

Pretty similar to real bread. Made garlic knots for my family and they couldn’t tell it wasn’t real bread. It was also really easy to make.

Thank you for posting this. I just made it, incredible! I normally make a Chicago tavern style thin pizza but haven’t done one this year since I’ve been on keto (and am down 50 pounds). The flavor on this is so good, much better than an almond crust pizza.

I live in UK and we don’t have the same cheeses so I used cheddar cheese and worked well. This for me tastes better than fathead pizza and so quick and easy to make.
