I am in the same boat about not sewing as much as I used to. I think I used sewing as an escape from my life. Now that I don't have to escape so often, I find I'm in the sewing room less often. Maybe this means your life is getting better!

Hi Darlene,I buy the cheap bed pillows from Wal-Mart when I need pillow stuffing. It's a lot cheaper then Poly-fill.

I like seeing your quilting videos !!! You inspire me to make scrappy quilts …. My grandson might like an I Spy one …. I do not know how to use a machine … but, I can sew by hand ….
When we ended up with 2 larger than larger dogs - We folded King sized thrift store comforters into 4's (quarters) and I made snugly fitting cases/ covers from sheets to hold a couple of comforters. For us and our dogs that often liked to scrunch thier bedding up a bit, 2 folded comforters (8 layers) seemed to work best with the comforters staying folded best. - Our dogs were indoor-outdoor dogs which roamed and wandered through woods and this system let us wash the covers often, the bedding generally seldom.

Most MinPins like to bury under covers. Does Rocket do this?
He absolutely does! He gets under the covers and moves all around like a mole, lol. He sleeps with me, he sleeps with Joe and sometimes he sleeps between us. He even goes under the covers during the day. I make the bed with the blankets folded back so he can get in by himself.
