Oh Darlene, Thank you!!! I recently bought some fusible, but didn't really know how to use it!! I learn so much from you, and I love all the cool things you do with fabric!!! Thank you 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Oh you have such beautiful material. I can't get down ny basement yet. I fractured my ankle. That's where all my material is. I love all the angles you put in.
I use light weight fusible fabric and my scraps. I top stitch it down. I use in quilt tops and can't tell a difference. I haven't tried turning the fabric under. I like the small amount of fraying that happens. Add texture.
I have that iron and i bought it for about $10 too. I leave mine on the whole time I'm sewing too. I just don't like that it sprays out of the front. I'd rather it only spray out of the bottom.
Darlene this is such a relaxing fun way to use scraps. Thank you so much for your non ending sense of humor.
Oh Darlene you are so funny. Love all that you do. Thank you so much. i love how you think outside the box.
Darlene you crack me up!!! I love your sense of humor 😂
You are off to a great start! Looking forward to Part 2

Absolutely love this video. The ideas are popping in my head now for my scrap strips.
That's going to be a cool block, can't wait to see you finish it!
Hi Darlene! Nice to see another video from you! I really like your style

I have that iron in red. I love it for the same reason you do. I HATE auto shut off! Fun quilt block!
Love It Just Love It

Love this, such fun fabrics.
Can't wait to finish.
I don't have any social apps on my phone. I just tried to share and realized i don't. I wish i could share you though. You are amazing.
I use little dots of white glue and then dry with the iron.
This is fun to watch sometimes even though I don't sew.
I haven’t been on for awhile, love your channel!
Love it !!
Shared on Twitter ( now X ). Hope you get some views from it. Thank you so much Darlene.
I too avoid anything on my walls..lol..its such a commitment…🇨🇦
It will be very nice when it is cut and maybe stiched on. I like it already,
I have that same iron, it works great! I too hate auto off .
Oh no! I have to wait! Have a nice time out - but hurry back 😀
Fun!
I use the iron on stabilizer for most all my table runners.
If you ironed fleece to the stabilizer would it still be too stiff to use for a quilt?
Does the glue clog your needle? I haven't had any luck with the glue from double sided tape.
That turn out to be beautiful. But I don’t understand what is that called? A block? I know nothing about quilting. You did a good job on that.
I started one tonight and was thinking of folding the edge as ive got raw edges i dont understand how to cover otherwise
I show you how to do it in the video.
I got on the phone and left my mini iron on. Want one with the auto shut off
I love gizzards. Delish.

I use a spray bottle.
@@darlene.michaud oh duh.. I didn't think about using one of those.
Whatever comes out of an iron is never enough for me. I am a spraying freak!
@@darlene.michaud I hear ya. I use a lot of sta
Starch instead of the iron since I Never thought of the spray bottle.
Dry the glue with the iron. I do appliqué like that all the time
FYI Reliable makes irons with no auto-off (which I also detest) but they’re quite a rude price 😢
I use glue sticks
