On the sealed battery, the instructions tell you to seal the battery after filling it. There is no mention of leaving the strip off while charging. Is this going to be an issue as I already pushed the strip of caps down onto the battery as per the instructions?
Blondie SL question So I followed the instructions that came with the battery a d they missed to add the part that says to just loosely put the cap on top while you charging it for the first time. So I started charging and popped open just one side.of the black plastic strip cap and it was definitely under a bit of pressure. My question is will it be safe if I push back the strip and will not leak? Thanks in advance
Yuasa, you contradict yourself in this video when compared to at least one other of your videos. If you go the 5:20 mark on this video: ( ua-cam.com/video/XBHdE1RtXaI/v-deo.html) you clearly say and show to INSTALL top cap before the first charge. Given the expansion of gases during a charge (and reading at least one comment from a person who posted on the video linked) the expansion can damage the battery housing and/or pop the top cover off. If this happens from following the video, will you warranty the battery?

Nothing about charging in my document... online there is an entire document... they only print the first page to ship with the battery
I have read both... charge open first... or closed... either way. Mine sat longer open... then I closed and charged

At 2:17 you removed the red plastic tube. Do you need to put it back when you install the battery or leave of?

Just buy AGM battery and do not even bother with these types of acid and maintenance required batteries. Total waste of money and time.
