review on the razer huntsman mini unboxing. this keyboard is really good and you might wanna buy it in the future! thanks for watching!!!!
Damn this reminds me of the kid that brought his razer to school to try to impress everyone only to be told to stop clicking that
@Trevor Trent yea, I've been using kaldroStream for since december myself =)
Could’ve gotten red keys smh
Poor guy
I had a friend who did the same thing lol
I think I've watched that lol, but since I didn't notice he was told to stop it was probably a different video.
“Sound doesn’t matter all that much”
r/mk: *grabs pitchforks*
This guy does build custom keebs but he probably just said that from an average gamers perspective
Kill! Kill! Kill!
its just a keyboard
@@kanorcubes329 prepare to get smoked
@@kanorcubes329 where u live bro?
Razer has definitely improved, no more weird-ass bottom row layout (with the Huntsman TE and Mini, the Elite still has the weird bottomrow), and they also provided a 60% keeb, which is this one. But that stabilizers need some work man xd
What is weird about the bottom row on the elite?
@@the_charliecp8859 it has 4 x 1.5u - 3 x 1u and a 6u Spacebar. Like it's next to IMPOSSIBLE to find a keycap set that fits this horrible design of a keyboard. So you're stuck with the shitty stock keycaps that would shine very quickly and vulnerable to fingerprints and oil.
@@Agent_Alpha doesnt Razer sell PBT
Keycaps?
@@the_charliecp8859 yeah it's PBT but not great quality.
@@Agent_Alpha im looking at buying one thats on offer and since im Spanish and theres practically no keycaps sold with spanish layout guess its not a problem for me the row being weird lol
Unfortunate you got the purples lol I really hate how those sound
Yeah but it is what it is 😂 I’m not a big fan of them either
@@CGBuild I’d recommend you testing out the sk61, it’s great and also very cheap in comparison to this garbage lol
@@stonksagent9040 I have this keyboard and the stabs are terrible. But the overall experience is fine. I probably wouldn’t recommend tho
@@hughg.rection8153 really? Mine was great, and after I relubed the stabs it was amazing; what version did you have(switches
@@stonksagent9040 red switches. And I don’t wanna waste money on krytox so I’d rather just get a varmillo
I believe from what I have heard that the purple switches were the bad ones for this keyboard that’s why I bought it with the reds
Yeah, my friend had one with purple switches and it was pretty bad, so i got the red one’s and they’re fantastic!
@@YoSmako yeah, they need worked on tbh,I don’t mind the cheap feeling because honestly who will even mess around with it?
@@SquidLS yeah the reds sound really nice actually
All huntsman minis are shit extremely ratly stabalizers and unbearable pinging noise.
Same
i feel like people forget its a gaming keyborad
Depends which market.
In Greece it will cost 130€ due to import fees for the Anne pro 2 while the razer huntsman mini can be found for 80€ under specific days (normally it goes for 120€)
It’s super fast though I have used one for years and it’s awesome! I would recommend it.
Other than sound and the case the keyboard has great use having some of the littlest response tine Bc of the lasers and actuation force so if u want good sound don’t get this but if u want it for the positives get it but probably the red one
I can agree but if you want best performance I would go with a steel series board or just get an kr61 it’s like $50 and you can witch the switches to whatever so you get the best performance
Gk61 optical cheaper and has overall better quality
You won't notice any difference between 1000hz and 8000hz
@@elytr1a the same thing happens with 390hz monitor sadly
@@elytr1a that is the dumbest comparison i have ever heard go play with ur gk61
The red switches are nice. I love my huntsman mini
hyperx alloy 60% is a good choice for a 60% nice linear switches, doesnt feel cheap at all its literally made of alloy, non oily keycaps, feels nice, stands, and you are treated to a nice typography space bar and hyper x keycap at the price of $100
100$ is insanely expensive for a full pbt prebuilt 60%.
@@eetu54 what is so much cheaper than other 60% where do u get urs
@@eetu54 hyper x software and full alloy and rgb
@@jalenshawty5305 at least where I'm from the whole bunch of epomaker 60% and 65% cost between 50 and 80 euro and are hot swappable, either with mechanical or optical, while the huntsman stands at around 100eu and the hyperx alloy stands at around 120eu average
So yeah it depends on the state, you know, not the whole world lives in your neighborhood
Ur comment made me make the decision between this razer and the alloy 60%. Thnx
The hollowness does matter, regardless if you move it from the desk. It’s what contributes to that rattly and hollow sound. And it also means that if you press keys hard or for some reason have a rage, which a lot of gamers inevitability do, will break easier than other more dense keyboard.
For the price, this could be a lot better. The only selling point is the optical switches, but other brands have those now.
It’s perfect. I love the audial feedback because I can often hear my misclick before I see it. Also the light weight helps with putting it in a backpack and traveling with it!
I tried Varmilo with Cherry brown, Ducky One 2 Mini with cherry silver, Boyi joker with blue switch and the Huntsman Mini with red switch. From these four keyboards, by far the Huntsman mini is my favorite for work. I also like that it's light.
I’ve had a huntsman for over a year using it everyday and it’s still pretty good
Ah yes, music to my ears
Got one for Christmas and it's my main keyboard. Honestly love it as is.
Idk man those optical switches feel really nice, even if it isn’t thoccy. Not to mention the life span
I bought the one with the linear reds and they sound amazing.
what site did you get it from??
no they dont LMAO
@@50xq for me they’re good because I come from a blue switch keyboard that annoyed the living crap out of me
Hey this purple clickies doesnt sound as bad as mx blues🗿

10 months ago or so I got the best keyboard ever
The legendary, the matchless...
Redragon mitra with OUTEMU blues 🕶️🤏 (that was literally like a nuclear war on my desktop)
Luckily I got the razer huntsman elite five months later and the tournament edition just a month later 💀

I love for your honest review. Tq
I’m thinking about getting this keyboard but I don’t know if I should do red switches or purple. I’m more competitive for my game so I don’t know what to choose.
as someone who owns it, it is WAY louder in real life and it doesn’t feel cheap at all idk what this guy is saying
The purple one? Do u recommend it? Im thinking of getting the purple switches should i?
@@fawzibazzi6394 i personally have a problem with how loud they are even when wearing fairly good noise cancelling headphones so if you want something more quieter id suggest the red switches
I would recommend red switches as they feel light and instant@@fawzibazzi6394

Akko keyboards now come with rgb and you can get them at a lower price. They feel pretty nice :)
I scroll to the next short just to show me the vid where the kid brought a razer keyboard and to be told to stop clicking it lmao
I’ve done the foam mod, changes it very much, sounds a little better and not that hollow anymore. Btw it’s a great keyboard, but DEFINITELY overpriced.

whatever you do don't EVER use any other type of lube other than the common ones people usually use I learnt my lesson when I did it with durex lube. Also be careful when your disconnecting the ribbon cable once you open the keyboard, overall it is worth it but get the red switches they're fast
I have this keyboard and love it
What's that keycap set on your Anne pro? Looks good 👀
I got there huntsman tkl but not the v2 for 40 bucks like new. Opened it up slapped in some foam and lubed the stabilizers. And it's a pretty decent 40 dollar tkl
should try the maxfit 61 ive tried a lot of budget 60% and it is by far the best quality
what was the keyboard in the background near the end. looks nice.
I was deciding wether i shoud buy the huntsman mini or the RK g68. Bought the RK g68 and never regretted now I've seen this video
I bought cooler master mk730 for $120 and it's been 3 months with it. Not gonna lie it is a solid keyboard with nice weight to it and metal build.
Had the Huntsman Mini for less than an hour before requesting a return. Now I'm deep in the rabbit hole of custom keebs.
I’ve had the mercury version of this keyboard with linear switches (which I usually love) and it legitimately just feels like I’m pushing keys on a mushy, memory foam pillow in the most uncomfortable way.
Only had it for about 4 months and I’m replacing it :’)

I have a razer huntsman elite and if you buy it it might get dirty fast but it’s pretty easy to clean but other then that it’s a great keyboard
POV: you already bought it
I've used a ducky one two mini for around 3 years and recent switched to the razer huntsman mini and boy was that the best choice I've made the huntsman mini feels so much better
Stabilizers are the worst thing that exists on mechanical keyboards.... Razer: "Lets put one on every single key!!!" 🤪
You should have never bought the clicky kind of switch's you should have bought the liner optical switches that would have made it more quiet
I own a huntsman.. mine has different switches so quiet and touchy. I play fps mainly. It was to give me more mouse rm
Tbh i have the keyboard I honestly don’t care abt the sound that much lol but other than the stabilizers the keyboard is good to me lol
is that wraith's blade on your desk? 🙃
Very nice video
nah i just got this keyboard and switched from silent linear switches and i love it

@@CGBuild you're welcome
Guy said that it won’t matter…
*Custom keyboard enthuasiasts laughing*
Gamers once says... the louder the better ...
What minis do u recommend
You should get the linear switches
Selling point of these are not the aesthetics but the competitive advantage of the switches. I still find it really stupid that keyboards made for competitive is being compared to custom/non-gaming keyboards
Well.. you can actually get better switches when you build your own.. or anything other then razer.. razer is over priced plastic and just isn’t good.. not unusable.. just no where near the best..
@@CGBuild yeah but how much does “building your own” going to cost to match razers product? Not less than 200$ right?
Everybody puts down the razor huntsman mini. I have it and it is one of the most amazing keyboards out there modded. First of all you bought it with purple switches instead of reds. Purples are very loud and obnoxious while reds have the very quiet and satisfying feel. Also if you put a styrofoam dampener into the plate of the board it sounds much better and is one of the best keyboards on the market.
Don’t be mad because people don’t like it.. if you like it then you like it.. plus if you have to mod a $110 keeb then it’s probably not a good buy.. you might as well just build a custom
@@CGBuild trueeeee
You choose obnoxious purple instead of satisfying feel reds?
@@CGBuild yeah
@@CGBuildthing is you dont need a custom for competitive... Custom keyboards are just a fad by enthusiasts.
How do you use the pause button?
this keybroad is prefect for me
It sounds way better in person I bought mine today
I think the keyboard is pretty cool. I've never had a lubed keyboard, 60%, or one with clicky switches. To be honest, I'm alright with the clicky switches, aside from the sound that makes it look like it's cheap. As someone who just started gaming, I have no problem having this kind of keyboard
It also has the lowest latency of any keyboard last I checked
Yeah exactly it's still the 2nd best Keyboard on the market and it's affordable if your serious about competitive gaming it's really good the latency is more important than the sound imo.
Glad i went with a ducky one 2 mini with cherry reds. I did have to buy a new switch cause my A switch had chatter but other than that i was happy with it.
It definitely sounds better than my g512 carbon which is probably because if the metal plate
Thank you
Can i change the switches from the mini with any other switch? i dont like my clicky purple ones.
Whats the best mini keyboard?
Have u rated the hyperx 60% keyboard
Thanks I didn’t know I had the big things
I got this with linear reds and returned it after 2 days. For $100 o don’t want a rattley hollow piece of plastic. Returned it and got an alloy origins core for $40 less and 20x the built quality
same price=rk61 with some 40 dollar caps from amazon, and akko cs switches
The keyboard sounds so gross lol. People who just want a gaming keyboard will think, bc of the price and company that's it's worth it. I'm glad I did a lot of research beforehand and am building my own.
I did the same thing on mine and it does not sound that hollow bruh unless it has something to do with it being linear switches but i doubt that
i've been playing with my hunstman mini for a bit over a year now and lately it's been getting on my nerves quite a bit. theres a lot of side to side motion with the keys i can feel when im playing that makes it harder to tell which key im hitting and is generally just annoying and a bit distracting at times. for example if i take my index finger off of D to hit 3 or 4 i can feel the other keys moving around under my fingers, it just feels so sloppy. Is this just regular keyboard stuff or does the hunstman mini just blow?
i used to play on a laptop and the keyboard was so much easier to use, the plastic gaps between the keys made it incredibly easy to tell if i was hitting the right key so idk maybe im just not entirely used to a "normal" keyboard but imo this thing SUCKS
You know why the mini is so good it cause the actuation time pls mention that
Other keyboards have the same technology and do it better
@@CGBuild every keyboard that uses optical switches are pretty equal in terms of quality, literally all feel the same. Also giving the keyboard a 6/10 because of it feeling "hollow and cheap" is such a bad reason because it was hollowed a filled with foam to increase the sound quality of the switches(many custom keyboards use this method as well)
Me tripped or was that a gskill sticker on ur Anne pro??? 😭😱
I’ve had this same keyboard for over a year now and it is amazing
Get an apex pro mini its on sale for 148. Or you will have arthritis and not be fast
So should I Buy it with a budget of 120$ or what's any recommendations
just dont, if you want a solid prebuild go for a keychron
Those razer opticals have like no wobble though
Guys just get the red switches white one and open it and add a EVA foam in for like 2 dollars
hey, is the pro version?
Can you get other switches for a different sound
And the RGB??? I have a huntsman mini and the RGB is crazy!!!
Does the space bar feel stiff I got mine and it feels pretty stiff and kinda like it’s not pressing all the way but it still works fine
red ones are godlike but tkl sounds so much different its a shame
idk how much these cost but probably a lot, my keeb was 135€ and it sounds way better and is sturdier, if you want a good keyboard just build yourself one, get a tm680, some cheap pbt keycaps, lube, and switches for like under 30 bucks, if you want to make it sound better get new stabs and foam mod it
