I'm considering getting this instead of the Ducky One 3 mini/SF. Although the Ducky kinda is more of an enthusiast brand, it is hard to come by in my country/with the right layout. And these purple swtiches are also unique and seems like exactly what I'm after.

I know that on the ducky, one can re-assign the function key (using dip switches) to where it can be held down by your thumb while using the arrow keys. This is essential for me when navigating code with the arrow keys and end - home keys. But I can't find out whether this can be done on the Huntsman.
I've had this same keyboard for almost two years now. It's a great keyboard. The only thing I don't care for is the keys go down a little too far
in order to register. I wish their stroke was about 50% shorter than the default switches they use. It's still a fantastic keyboard for gaming!
The only time I notice the issue with the long distance for the switches to register a click is when I'm trying to type accurately as fast as I can.
I can type 120 words per minute on most other keyboards but with this keyboard I'm at about 100wpm and I get more errors because of the
longer key stroke. Some people may prefer this but I like shorter key strokes. I still rate it 9/10 and love it and use it daily!
I love this keyboard, I think its a good buy weather you get the clicky switches or not

It does have arrows, you'll just have to hold down fn, then j I k and l are the arrow keys.

Hi, thanks for the review. I’m torn between this razor, found for £94 at Amazon and the ducky one2 SF 65% priced £117.98 at Amazon. Which one do you think is the best?
Both solid options to be honest.. The Razer has software controls and that's a pretty good price. I feel the typing experience on the One 2 SF might be slightly better though. You can also check out the One 3 SF (not sure what the price at your location will be). It's a nice upgrade over the One 2 SF. If you don't need the software maybe get the One 2 or 3 SF. If you want to save some cash and get software contrfols for RGB functions snag that Razer.

Yes. You can increase/decrease brightness using Fn and G/H.

Switches are very user specific, which is why it’s hard to recommend one for someone else. I personally like the mechanical switches better, but that’s just me.

As far as input lag is concerned, they should both perform essentially equal. These are optical switches so it's basically instantaneous. As far as sound, the red linear switches are a little bit quieter than the purple clicky switches. The linear switches are going to feel a bit smoother, while the purple switches will feel more "tactile." Hope this helps, and if you need further guidance let me know!!

The difference between it is really just a quieter one but the speed/ press difference is barely anything. 0.25 I believe it is.

The red are better for typing/gaming and the purple is pretty loud but you can feel the bump

I'm not sure but could be a variety of things. Might be a renewed/used price. Some sellers also can list for whatever they like (and since its a popular board they might be selling it for more). The one in my link is the main for US and is $119.99 ($129.99 for the linear switch) at the moment. It can vary by country as well since I know you are shopping on Amazon AU. If you are worried about price gouging or are confused on Amazon's pricing you can always purchase through the Razer store online as well.

I have this keyboard, and I’m having an issue where after synapse is launched no matter which lighting effect I select all keys work perfect except the “U” key is always lit up white. This is strange because before synapse opens up on my computer all the keys even “U” is lit up the same color as the rest of the keys. Any fixes? Thanks
If you look on the front of the "U" key it has a symbol that stands for "Gaming Mode." Gaming mode disables the Windows Key function so you don't accidentally press it while gaming. There are other things you can program to that key in the Razer Synapse 3 software as well. If it is lit up, it means gaming mode is activated. To disable gaming mode (and hopefully get rid of the white light) hold down the function (Fn) key and hit "U". this should shut off the light and/or gaming mode.
If this doesn't work, I would contact Razer customer service (they are very quick/good) and see if they can help you further, but this should take care of the issue.

That is the default "Wave" mode.
You say they made changes to how keypresses sound. Compare to what? Compared to previous models of the keyboard like Huntsman TKL or were there Huntsman Mercury Mini keyboards that had these bad sounding switches?
Their optical switches in general. This is the 2nd generation. This is their first mini (60%) keyboard but these switches have been used on other keyboards like the Razer Huntsman before.

Mine only switches between one color at a time how does yours have the rainbow? I have the 120$ one
On mine it is the default setting. To choose the default setting hold both "Windows" keys at the same time for 3-5 seconds (keyboard should blink white a couple of times then turn back on).
Alternatively, you can push "Fn", "Alt", and "T;" to cycle the different modes. The "Wave Mode" you are referring to is mode 1. Just keep hitting that sequence of keys until "Wave Mode" cycles back up. But if you are looking to go straight to it then holding the windows keys down is easiest.
I recommend looking at your manual, or look at the one online (link below). Scroll to the bottom for the US language. Hope this helps!.

It's already built in to work. You may not have full functionality over switching colors and lighting functions without it though.

The GK61 would have a wider variety of switches for sure. Also save some money, and still has a good build quality and bright LEDs. The Hunstman Mini, however, has a much more robust software. Build quality is similar, with a slight edge going to the Razer. Also, if you like Razer switches, this would be the way to go as well. The biggest advantage the GK61 has here is the hotswappable switches. If you will only keep one switch though this isn't really that big of an advantage. It would be hard to recommend one over the other. I would say if you want a quality board with particular switches and will leave it mostly on one RGB LED setting, maybe save some money and go with the the GK61. If you will be using the software a lot to do macros or RGB functions, the GK61 software can be a bit of a headache at times and maybe get the Razer.

Can you buy it for Xbox series s?
Yes. Mouse and keyboard support can be limited for consoles in general, but if you know what to expect this will work as any other usb keyboard for consoles.

I didn't experience this with mine. Depending on some peoples USB ports on their PC, it can shut off when the PC turns off (mine stayed on through motherboards USB). But just turning off if sitting for a period of time with PC on I didn't have an issue. It is possible it is a setting in their Razer Chroma/Synapse software.

That is because you have it in “Game Mode.” Game mode is used to disable the windows key so it doesn’t tab you out of games. To turn off Game Mode, hold Fn and press “U.” You can also turn off game mode in the synapse software I believe.
Now if you connect this to an Xbox, you can’t change the effect?

Your rgb looks much brighter, i don't know how but do you have any tricks?
You can try holding "Fn" and pressing "H" a few times to max out brightness. You should also be able to control brightness from the software. Those would be the only 2 way to increase brightness.

hello i have a question this keybord in white it gets dirty
I have used several white keyboards including this one, and do not have a problem keeping them clean. If it does get a little something on it, just grab a wipe or damp cloth and clean them off. This keyboard is available in black though if you prefer.

Just depends on the switch type you like. If you prefer a linear switch I would get the red. If you like a "clicky" or "tactile" switch I would get purple.
Does this support Xbox like can we use it on Xbox ?
Yes it will. Keyboard support on XBOX is pretty limited in general though. However, if you are already familiar with keyboards on XBOX, this will work the same way that other keyboards do.

How can I make my keyboard more bright? Your keyboard is way brighter then mine
Try holding "Fn" and pressing "H" several times to max out brightness. You can also try using the software to increase brightness and try different RGB lighting effects as well. It could be the dim lighting making mine seem brighter i'm not sure. If it is oddly dim, maybe reach out to Razer customer service if it looks like it could be a problem. They should be able to get you right.
How do you increase the brightness
You can do it in the software or by using the keys. You hold "Fn" and then press G/H to lower/raise the brightness. It should be labeled on the G/H keys, but I believe on the international version it may be I/O (that's what the manual states).

It does by using the "Fn" and number buttons, but for full RGB functionality you will want to use their software.

I want to buy this one but I have already the Anne Pro 2 with kailh box brown switches. If I should buy the huntsman mini which switches should I probably get? I'm a gamer btw.
Different switch type as these are optical. However, if you like your Kailh Box Brown switches and are looking at the Razer Huntsman Mini then I would say get the purple switches. Unfortunately, this keyboard only comes in 2 switch types, Razer's purple or red. Neither is going to line up exactly with what you have, but the purple switches are more "tactile" (which is similar to the tactile Kailh Box Brown). The red switches are a little quieter and linear so will be a different feel from what you have now.
How come my cap color turns white when i click it
It's to let you know caps lock is on. Some keyboards have a light somewhere on the keyboard that indicates it, some turn white or red or something. Since this is an RGB keyboard it would be hard to tell if caps lock is enabled or not if it lit up red or something, so it lights up white so you know caps lock is on.

Razer Chroma and Razer Synapse are the 2 you will want. Synapse will likely be the main one you use though.
Should i get the clicky or linear?
If you want a more louder one,get the clicky purple ones. If you want something thats not so loud,then get the red linears
