Right now, the Razer Huntsman Mini Analog is on sale for $95 and originally retails for $150. Compared to the Wooting, this might actually fit in some people's budget.

This is very true. Both Wooting and SS switches are made by Gateron, both of them uses magnets, yet the Apex Pro released before the Wooting 2HE (Full Size) and didn't have that feature. Yes, SS really doesn't care anymore.
The problem with the Huntsman Mini Analog is that it blocks controller input. I play Apex Legends on MNK and Roller and when I have the Huntsman plugged in it kills every other controller connected to the PC. It’s virtual controller takes priority over everything else
So if the Huntsman is plugged in, my Xbox controller that is also wired in, or wirelessly connected, will not work? I like being able to switch between the two instantly if i want, keyboard/mouse and Xbox controller
I'd love to see you get your hands on the DrunkDeer A75 and give your impressions compared to the Wooting. It's another Hall Effect board that has another Rapid Trigger akin feature, but I'm curious how it stacks up.
The only reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on Wooting is because of layout choice and if competition brings that choice to the table then I would feel that It is welcome.

I had no idea about this! Amazing video as always. Picked up my huntsman and huntsman mini for less than $60 each. Been bouncing between those two and a G Pro tkl. Going to update firmware and give OW another go.
I think the biggest thing with the wooting board is the fact its more customizable. Anything that allows you to make it more your own is best in my opinion.

Its confirmed in the works. Soon. However.. You really wont see something equal to Wooting until Razer/Steel come out with new boards/switches. They can introduce rapid trigger but SteelSeries Apex pro and Razer huntsman v2 analog are not as accurate as the Wooting 2he. Granted all this stuff is really minor

i tried it on my own Huntsman V2 Analog. Nice to have for sure. I hope such features continue to be refined and become standard in high end gaming keyboards, they're sorely needed.

Guess adjustable actuation is only available for the “analog” huntsman/huntsman mini variants? I have the regular huntsman mini with up to date firmware and synapse software and the actuation tab doesn’t show up.
I sprint using the W key instead of the standard shift key. Having both the sprinting and moving forward actions bound to the same key causes all kinds of movement-related issues. The wooting 60HE fixed all those issues for me. Another advantage of the Wooting that people don't mention is the fact that you can literally use any o-rings you want without them affecting your keys' actuation point.
i dont know if i see it being THAT much lower. the best u might get would be if wooting were to sell the module itself aka just the switches, board, and plate without keycaps and case. idk for sure but i might have remembered that being mentioned. i might be wrong tho

Doesn't the Apex Pro Mini has rapid trigger to? It's not adjustable but whatever your actuation setting is set to 0.2 to 4.0 it will be used as the rapid trigger reset setting. On mine I tap D multiple times by lifting my finger and barely applying any force.

Unfortunately you can’t use analog inputs and rapid keys on the huntsman without synapse . For some stupid reason Razer forces you to use the software or you will not get the full functionality of the keyboard

I had to wait about 8 months for my keyboard to arrive from Wooting. Wish they had options for heavier springs or something with better ergonomics. I had to duct tape their wrist rest to the keyboard.

4:05 honestly, if you have never tried to wooting I feel like you wouldn’t notice this, but obviously you have and your muscle memory set in w the wooting, and the razor juts felt wrong bc of this. If you had never used the wooting then used the razor one I feel like it would feel how people describe the wooting
So this is for the analog switches i understand , but if we talk abou the reduced input delay ( the one you can actually press faster and more times in a short period of time ) , are the optical switches beter than the analog ?

You can switch the case on the wooting easily.

I had to wait about 8 months for my keyboard to arrive from Wooting. Wish they had options for heavier springs or something with better ergonomics. I had to duct tape their wrist rest to the keyboard.
