    Feeling nostalgic today
I'll never forget 'HALLWAY 5' (Alpha Coy)
Leave a pocket unzipped? You just killed your entire platoon
    King Cleaner!
    Master Chefs!
    Lights, lockers and keys!
All the unique insults you'll only hear at Kapooka, one of my mates was referred to as having "a face like a kicked in biscuit tin"

The best advice I think you can give anyone is just put one foot in front of the other.
    And keep doing it.
Hundreds of thousands of other people have managed to do it and you will too.

When you hear the word "left" that is code for something regarding a "left".
Like - left turn, means turn to your left.
Left right left right, put your left foot on the ground when you hear left, put your right foot on the ground when you hear - right.
The code is very complex but if you listen and accept the Corporal is always correct, you will eventually understand the code.

Yooo I'm feeling so bloody anxious! My enlistment is tomorrow morning, shit's about to finally happen for me. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time.I've bought all the extra stuff you've recommended in a previous video like extra pens and electrical tape. Cheers for all the tips! Hopefully I'll be marching out in 81 days :D

Hey guys, I've managed to survive Kapooka! I've recently marched out on May 12 from Bravo Company 14 Platoon. It's been a hell of a ride but thank god it's over! I'm now at Puckapunyal the School of Armour to do my initial employment training. Any questions, hit me up and I'll try to get back to you when I can.

    • @No0bish1

It's definitely an experience like no other. You're just not a normal person if you can't wait to get out of there. The hardest part for me was being deprived of the normal things you take for granted like music, napping when you're tired, unwinding at the end of the day on your computer or watching TV, seeing your mates and family etc. But that's the point. It's a place where you learn how to deal with having these things taken away from you for a long period of time while being made to feel miserable, especially in the first couple of weeks. Your section commanders will purposefully try to make your life very difficult for seemingly the stupidest reasons. However over time your experience there will slowly become easier and you become more accustomed to the way things are run etc. Every single morning you will shave, get dressed, make your bed, have breakfast, brush your teeth and usually do barracks maintenance/cleaning. Your uniform is to always be ironed prior to wearing it.
