How To Peel And Slice a Mango in Less Than a Minute
Today I'm demonstrating how I peel and 'fillet' a mango in less than a minute. This way saves me plenty of time when dehydrating mangoes! Plus, there is significantly less waste and a higher quality to your mango slices as they aren't crushed as much.

Survive?
Wait whats a JI
Why goto bathroom at 2200? Seems impossible..i shit at like 10am near everyday lol
Basic training isn't what it used to be......I went through in the 80's. These days it's a lot 'softer'.
Good vid bro I'm going soon
I have one. went in to my local shop and bought it off the wall and walked out 14 minutes later. Thankful for the 2A.
Should I pack my stuff inside a backpack or a duffel bag? Also, is it true that they make you run with your bag on the first day?
It was 13 years ago I was there, but I think we dropped the bags then they took us to get clothing. They take most your stuff off you first day aswell so u may not get to keep everything until the end of the training. You will get chances to go back to your bags sometimes. Good luck and try not to stress if you get in trouble it's all part of it. I look back and laugh, try to have fun and make lots of mates.
@@andrewjohn1423 I have one more question because a lot of people have differing opinions: is joining the armed forces worth it?
@Jezzyzeggs if you have a good job with a future there, then maybe not. But if you're just bumming around in a shit dead end job and u want to leave town on an adventure, I say go for it. I was a bit of a drop kick, never really applying myself to anything, I've been out for 6 years now and have a really good job and life. The army gave me the confidence in myself to apply myself more.
Out of interest, why not mention you did cadets?
Am working in Ghana now as army forces can I join the ADF
Henry is the real deal. My local Walmart can't seem to keep Henry stuff in stock. The second they put a h010 on the shelf, it was gone the same day
What’s the deal on taking supplements with you? IE. preworkout, protein, glutamine, ginkgo etc?
Is there still a parade these days?
It is essential to have a mindset where you can put aside the yelling and listen to what is being said. The message is more important than the delivery method which is often ‘yelling’ or delivered in harsh tones. Remember that Kapooka is designed to test a persons ‘will and determination’ to overcome difficult situations. The yelling, harsh tones and treatment of recruits is designed to intentionally test the resolve of recruits to see if they meet the standards expected of soldiers in tough situations. Kapooka is an exercise in self control! There is no back chatting the instructors unless you are hell bent on having a bad day and potentially setting a path that leads to going home unsuccessful. All the best to future recruits! Cheers Rob Taylor 13 years ARA Iraq and Sumatra Assist Veteran
How hard is it in terms of yelling? Are they like marines in your face?
@BudgetGainsByJJ not sure how bad it was back then but over the past 2 years they rarely single out and "shark attack" anymore. If you fuck up they'll grill you but they won't scream in your face and swarm you. Kapooka is only 9 weeks now.
can you go to the gym while at kapooka ?
is all these things still relevant? In today's Kapooka?
Do you get yelled at all the time or for no reason like the us marine training?
Nah, only when you or someone else fucks up. Americans just love drama, and require extra motivation. Bieng shouted at does not make a better soldier.
I have never been so excited for kapooka tbh!
As you were.
“I don’t care if a bunch of Oompa Loompas jump out of the bushes over there and start dancing on that table. You will pay attention to me. 😂
“THERE IS TO BE NO DISCOTHEQUE IN THE SALS” …..when or if you get free access to your mobile phones, don’t all take them with you to the toilet at night getting your tiktok fix…😂
I swear that's my section in the picture
Phone credit and cigarettes
Do they still use ‘goffas’ and ‘grumpy bars’?
Spent my 21st Birthday there in 1969,Day three week one,I survived, ended up a medic.
Can you bring cigarettes at kapooka?
Wish someone had told me this 40 years ago, we got to the gate, and didn’t have a clue lol
What is the tattoo symbol on your arm? It looks interesting.
keep uploading!!
any one going for enlistment by the end of January 2023?

Master Edward Brian Scott of TaeKwon-Do I have done plenty of training courses including the Army Reserves Training, but failed the course and left I was subjected to bullying and barstardisation from other members in my platoon, but I am so proud of all the recruits that complete the Australian Army courses, buddy you explain this course so well.
can PR holder are allowed to join army ? or first you must be australian citizen ?
can you take showers in the mornings lmao
I am in cadets and can’t wait to join Army as I love wearing cargo pants
You joined us, we didn't join you is something you will hear a fair bit of.
Is that thumbnail photo from when you were there? I swear that looks like everyone from my platoon back in 2001
I find this interesting. I did Kapooka in early 1975 and ended up doing a career of 21 years and ended as a WO1 in a Captain slot for the final 5 years. I did not find Kapooka that bad, the food was good and the training interesting. I did three years of playing football before joining and spent a lot of time spearfishing at Bass point so I was fit.. At one point a CPL was yelling at me and he stopped and said "why am I not intimidating you." , Oh I said, you have not met my dad. What does that mean he said. I replied "My dad spend 12 years in the British army and part of that was waiting on the beach at Dunkirk. I'm sorry corporal you just dont cut it. The corporal smiled and left me alone. At the marchout all the platoon NCOs all shook my Dads hand. He was a hard man but I kind of miss him.
That pedagogy helped you mate. Corporal must be with full of awe.
Is there a woman on her 50's who has already joined in ADF?
I really can't really do sits up, i do everything still so hard for, any tips?
Train your core mate by doing ab workouts it's pretty much as simple as that Im currently in my recruitment phase and as you progress through your fitness, there will be days when you cannot be bothered or have no motivation...that's when discipline comes into play plus if you have no motivation then figure out what's your why for joining the army
@@JP-ig4kx howd you go
I just got back from Kapooka, I’ve been watching this series on repeat for 3 years, and it’s incredibly accurate (especially the first week part)! Hated Kapooka while I was there, but now I’m back, I kind of miss it! Thanks for all the tips and secrets, wouldn’t have gotten through without it! 45PL, 2022

@@jensenmackinnon6968 No worries mate. Good luck.
I was conscripted in '71 became 'Outstanding Soldier of the Platoon', much to my surprise, as well as right marker. My platoon corporal had seen 3 tours in Vietnam as a pioneer scout, he was hard, very rarely smiled, and an excellent soldier, there were no 'excuses'. We were talking one day toward the end of my time there, he imparted some extra tips for surviving during these talks we had. He said that as I had won the trophy I may not realise it could mean I wind up doing what he did as pioneer scout. That bothered me a bit, then I asked him why he didn't go back, he said he could do more good teaching as many of us to come back than going over again. Much respect to you "Blue", and as he said not because of his red hair. And yes he could .....blue. Tips to survive: Do your best, have a go, try hard, be honest with yourself, learn and revise, practise the things you can in you own time it will pay off, do yourself and the Army proud. Never complain, fall or knocked down get back up immediately, never slack off, Don't be caught with a dirty weapon, never drop your weapon, if you do then hit the ground before it does. Good Luck and be your best. It will change you forever. Never ever ever give up.
One question which I'm having a hard time getting answerd is if we do PFA before or after Kapooka. My apologies for the idiotic question
shut off the shit house music
Going in on the 8th August in a few days, thank you soo much for your vids. Massively appreciate all the info..

Hey mate, if someone enlists into the reserves can they transfer to the full time army in basic or once they march out and if so what period of time does someone have to wait?
You can transfer to full time just by filling out some paper work

I've lived with diabetes for a while now, and I've have been wondering if type 1 diabetics can join ADF?
