Right? People’s recency bias is showing heavily this time around. Now in T8 you’re essentially forced to be aggressive with the heat system or otherwise you’re put at a massive disadvantage.

Honestly for someone who’s played both games for an equal amount of time, the electric effects both in sound design and visuals isn’t really that great in this game imo.
One of the biggest things is simply the fact that Tekken 7 is a weird game where they had minimal budget due to Tag 2's failure yet still ended up becoming a massive success. Meanwhile, Tekken 8 had an actual budget due to Tekken 7's success. It is why Tekken 7 really has nothing going for it besides the fighting gameplay itself and feels soulless because of it. While Tekken 8 has things spicing it up like unique intros and outros for certain matchups, little things like the moves characters do right before rounds, especially the last one and characters being much more vocal when fighting.

Maybe in season 1 and 2, definitely not by season 3 and beyond
(Source: me being Emperor in Tekken 7 and pretty shit but purple ranks were free wins for me, just like how it is in Tekken 8)
Lol after 7 years of release you can think that they would be good? Tekken 8 it's only been like what 8 months? Tekken 7 was filled of veterans like with every tekken game towards the end of its life. Tekken 8 will prob be filled with the same after 3 years.
All this did was make me want armor king back
I made the jump to Tekken 8 almost entirely for the load times and rematching quality of life improvements
3:20 did they really try to slide Crash Bash's Floater electroshock sound from Polar Panic's Crystal challenge and thought we wouldn't notice? lmao
Wasn't expecting to see Crash Bash being mentioned in the commenw of a Tekken video lmao
@@BCDeshiG I’m weird
It’s insane how much of an improvement Tekken 8 is. We really got blessed with an amazing upgrade
The only people complaining would be the people that literally live in Tekken 8. The second the game can't entertain them anymore (replace their lives) they'll be active complaining on a certain forum on Reddit.
7 was still more balanced tho
@@ghost_ender8298lmaoo😂😂 this has to be bait.
@@ghost_ender8298 Tbh I'd say atm 7 is more imbalanced with how annoying and absurd some characters are in this game, especially the dlc characters
@@ghost_ender8298The final product of 7 is much more balanced than the current Tekken 8.
I will say about Tekken 7, my friends and I are casuals and we preferred to play Tekken 6 because the load times were more bearable
Tekken 7 didn't even look good when it was first released. I remember being a bit disappointed.
Even though mainman was playing T7
This video was a great watch
I literally play tekken 6 still
Alright since TMM is revisiting this game I have a question, will TMM use Final Devil again?
There’s no shot we’re saying Tekken 8 electric sound effect is better than 7… sounds like literal lightning man🤦🏼♀️
its almost like
nostalgia
Tekken 7's electric (and every other sound effect) sounds like amateur crap.
Nostalgia bias comment. You're dismissed.
Honestly for someone who’s played both games for an equal amount of time, the electric effects both in sound design and visuals isn’t really that great in this game imo.
@@DBTHEPLUG God forbid someone has an opinion. rope+chj

Hope we get Tournament mode in T8 soon
Still prefer Tekken 7 gameplay over 8. Heat system is garbage.
I would rather take heat than 2 Characters and and all of the gimmicks that t7 have
Such a piss poor game that every Tekken player have to play in order the company won't die
@@johanseth3277 Tekken 7 had a lot of BS Characters with comeback Mechanics. But you still had defensive options to work with. Tekken 8 is built to be oppressive with no defensive options. Sure every character has their own bs mechanics but thats a poor excuse to call it balanced.
Tekken 7 is a game that has been completed over many years
Tekken 8 is still a child compared to Tekken 7
Its a short bus child. But yes it is a child.
i would rather spend 69 euros , on 3 "tekken 7" copies , than tekken 8 :D
Dang why’d doesn’t anyone seem to like 8. I love 8 and it’s hella fun I just don’t get it.
Opressive and very noob friendly heat system , games overly aggressive@@nick2cut
@@nick2cutbecause you're bad at the game
I’m gonna be that guy who says he misses playing as Noctis 😭💀
